My first pair of wicked good slippers were made in Maine and lasted over ten year. My last pair lasted less than one year. My new ones roll so the stitching shifts under my foot in will wear out even faster. So disappointed with the falling quality. Please bring manufacturing back to Maine.

The product is well made and worth the purchase price, but the slippers are too narrow and seem to be short in length. I ordered a full size up from the shoe size and they still didn't fit. I've ordered other pairs of men's slippers with the same problem - they just don't fit. Please let me know how to return the slippers. I've lost the paperwork over the holidays. Thank you.

First, the slippers were way too tight. Next, the left footbed was skewed at an awkward angle. My foot didn't lie flat in the slipper when I took a step, My ankle appeared distinctly pronated. I returned them for a size 10 EE, hoping that will fit better -- and be made better. If not, they go back for good. BTW, I was unaware there even WAS a wide EE slipper, as I could not find mention of them in the catalog..

Will be returning slippers today for an exchange for a larger size 14, although size of original purchase is actually almost ok. However, the main rewson for returning is that the width of the sole, left foot, heel, appears to be narrower than it should, causing foot to slip sideways, that problem is non existent in the right foot, so no other explanation applies. Thanks, always a repeat customer.

Nice and comfy and warm but stitching came out of one of them when llbean still had their lifetime guarantee and they won't replace them. So don't recommend llbean products anymore.

Just be sure to check the size recommendations before ordering. Mine, although my exact street shoe size, are too narrow and too short. Maybe they will stretch.

This is my second pair of these sleepers. First pair were pretty good and thought was time to replace them. Since purchased the new ones in the being of the summer, I hadn't worn them too much, however I noticed the left sleeper was cutting into the top of the foot, assuming some sort of defect. Now being the being of fall started to wear them again, sad to say these are not as good as my first pair and will have to find a replacement, but won't be another pair of these.

Bought my third pair since 2009 in May 2017, and I wore them pretty much every day since they arrived. They're soft, and pretty comfortable, although this pair was sized somewhat smaller than the previous two.
I was feeling a draft on my right foot, so I looked down and noticed the stitching has blown out in two spots.
I will restitch these, but unless someone can confirm that the material used to stitch the tops and soles together has been upgraded, this will be my last pair. And that's a shame, because until the stitches part, these are some wicked good slippers. Would I recommend these to a friend? Maybe someone I just met...

The lining has worn out after about 6 months. The outer leather is good. I will not buy again.

I am very disappointed in these slippers. This is another pair of slippers I will be returning to LLBean. They run small so the size 9 my husband normally wears had to be returned for a size 10. The size 10 fit but my light colored carpets have become stained everywhere my husband walks in the house!! At first I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my carpets. Then after watching my husband's steps when he was home, I noticed the path he normally walks is the places my carpets are stained. Has anyone else had this problem? The suede color is somehow coming off. He had another pair of these awhile ago and we didn't have this problem. The inside is also matted down after a month. Not the quality I would expect from LLBean.

Squeaks on any and all hard surfaces. Because it only comes in whole sizes, it was too loose on me. It started to roll onto the side. Not satisfied at all. Hope to b able to return for a refund, since I've only worn them a few days.

I have a pair of the moccasins and love them. These have no structure whatsoever. No support. Just floppy. I got them for the smooth bottom but didn't expect this. I would have returned them but threw everything away. Big mistake.

I ordered size 11. I normally wear size 10 1/2. The slippers were much too small and had to be returned.

This was the second pair of slippers we tried and the issue is that the footbed is not solid. It was not secure, solid or frankly wide enough to support an average size foot. As I have seen written in other reviews the slippers in general that we tried seem to be made cheaply. We were hugely disappointed and even more so that LL BEAN , a company that my parents loved has fallen into the trap of losing its reputation of providing quality products.

Feels great, fits great, but the way the bottoms are sewn on to the upper wears too fast. Less than a full year of wear, and I've blown through them. Won't order again.

I've received these slippers as a gift every other year for over a decade. This was the first year that I was unhappy with them. I sent the first pair back because the padding in the right slipper was uneven. The second pair had the same problem only to a lesser degree. I kept them though because due to weather (and other factors?) it took almost a month to get the replacement. I will be trying a different company the next time.

I have purchased this style of slipper before and this pair I just received feels like I'm walking on an uneven blanket. It's almost like the lining on the bottom is too thick. This is something I did not experience with my previous purchase of the same style of slipper.

The quality of the slippers is not there. This would have been my third pair but I had to send them back. Another example of poor quality is in a jacket I bought a few years ago. It was a down filled Acadia jacket. The material around the elastic in the sleeves and around the bottom of the jacket is rotting away. I regret not sending it back when it started to rot away.

The opening is these slippers is so small I couldn't even get my foot in the slipper. I can't attest to the fit because I never got them on my foot to tell.

I bought these same slippers 5 years ago, the don't even come close to the quality of my old pair. They also cost around twenty dollars more. There is less fur on the inside and around the ankle. The slipper material in much thinner than my old pair. So far, I am still wearing my old pair. I will guarantee the new pair will not last as long as the old pair.So I guess the new slippers are not as wicked good as the old pair.

I purchased these twice in the last decade or so. The stiching which looks like leather is poor quality. With just the friction from walking in my house it wears out and breaks. When that happens all you are left with is a good slipper in two pieces. The first pair I threw away the second pair I re-stitched them with a good quality shoelace. Still have them.

I've been buying these slippers for years, because they're just so darned comfortable, but I've finally decided to stop wasting money on single-year slippers.
The uppers are durable leather. The bottoms are durable leather. But for some reason they went with cheap cloth to stitch them together, so the uppers separate from the lowers after maybe a year of daily use.

I love how comfy and warm these slippers are but they just don't last. I would expect for the price they'd survive a year, but that's all I got out of this pair, despite not wearing them outside or even the whole year. And when the stitching fails, it's catastrophic, as you can see from the photo.
Overall, this was a waste of money.

My husband wore out a pair of these slippers, wearing them outside and inside and everywhere. They've been machine washed and dried and everything! They were great. I ordered another pair for Christmas and he put them on and one of the heel seams ripped right away. Same size and everything as the old ones. So, I am sending these defective ones back for a larger size and we'll see if that makes a difference. Besides seeming to be smaller, I think that the leather itself may be thinner, and so it could not stand up to the close stitch sewing on the heel (which appears to be good quality). Let's hope this bigger pair is better. I'll report back
