I love these and want another pair that are actually waterproof. They became sponges.
They're the only hiking boot that fits my wide forefoot, wide midfoot, high instep, and narrow heal.

Lone peak is my favourite shoe and boot. I have 4 pairs..I bought the all weather boot for hiking the El Camino de Santiago in Spain..I had them about a year and they were fantastic..until 4 days before the trek.. I was training when suddenly I got a big hole in the seam! I was pretty devastated..I was in the Uk at the time and could not find the receipt..fortunately I found the last pair in my size in a small shop an hours drive away..they held them for me and I bought them..full price plus's 20%VAT! But they felt amazingly comfortable what a relief..no break in period..4 days later I started the hike..75 miles in 5 days..one blister on the last day..because they were not waterproof..my feet were soaked even though they are "all weather" and we got a ton of rain on the last day..and pretty much everyone else's feet in our group got wet as well

These feel great with my terrible feet. I do wear orthotic arch support insoles due to my flat feet. I remove the Altra insole. This works fine for me. I just got back from a week of walking and touring in Iceland. I found them to be decently warm with good socks and sneaker comfortable. My only gripe was while walking in an extended rain, like 1.5-2hrs of walking in rain, I think the water resistance reached its tipping point. It did seem to that it took being totally water logged for a long time for my feet to feel some moisture. However I was completely dry the rest of the trip which was varied terrain and weather. Puddles, hiking, etc. I struggle to find hiking boots. I have been using Altras for running for years. I'm hoping they continue to improve their hikers and maybe I have finally found my boots!

Have worn out my first pair of Lone Peaks and bought these last winter for hiking in wet weather - worked perfectly but these are a little snug for me in the forefoot. Cushioning is terrific. Likewise water resistance.

My bad feet rarely find a hiking shoe that feels so good.

Sole wears out way too fast for the shoe. I love the feel of these but have to get another soon because tread is wearing so fast. Altra should have a service for replacing soles or a new material.

The tops of these are too fat. Unfortunately they press on the scar from my broken ankle.

I love these boots in so many ways (fit, toe box, comfort, weight) but have been very disappointed with its durability. After about 200 miles of backpacking, they cracked and crumbled on the outside. The inside of the shoes still looks like new and the soles have some wear but are in good shape but the outside on both shoes split open (where you bend your foot to go uphill/downhill) and I had to use duck tape and super glue on my last trip to keep them together.

I've previously bought Altra Lone Peaks a couple years ago. These don't feel as nice. The rub a little on the back. They feel a little narrower. I don't remember having to break in the previous pair.

I do love these shoes, my podiatrist recommended them for the wide toebox and ankle stability, but three times the lace from one shoe has gotten caught in a hook from the other shoe and twice caused me to fall. I wasn't even on a trail, just walking on flat even surface. Glad I wasn't on the stairs! When it happened last week, I came home and squashed all four down with the pliers so they won't catch anymore, but so the laces can still be threaded through. Definitely a design flaw. They should come with a warning before someone gets seriously hurt. It happens so fast! I see someone else also posted this issue. One other thing, I love the blue laces, but they're way too long. I've been triple tying them.

As an owner of the previous model Women's Lone Peak All-Weather Mids, I loved the roomy toe box and high ankle support. Completely disappointed in the newest model's significantly narrower fit. The body of the shoe is still great, but the toe box has gone from extra wide to far too narrow. Feels like they messed with the fit simply for the sake of it while ignoring the actual needs for use as a hiking shoe. Suggest anyone with bunions or other toe issues continue to look elsewhere or try to find the original fit somewhere.

I purchased these hiking boots because of the box toe but they are so narrow and small, I don't think that even going up a size will help. My previous boots were not this narrow and tight.
I will look for a different brand which is wider.

Comfy shoes (feel slightly narrower than what I'm used to with Altra shoes) with good grip in snow. Truly waterproof. However my feet get hot and sweaty when wearing them for an extended time.

I should have guessed by how hard it was to remove the paper inserts that this shoe would be hard to get on. The opening is too small and too high up the shoe for it to be easy to get on. It was too much of a struggle. Plus the color is impractically pale for a hiking shoe that will get dirty on day one. Return.

Had to return this boot because it's definitely not all-weather cold weather only. I've never worn a boot that made my feet sweat so bad my wool socks turned out WET. (And that was only a 1.5 mile hike!) I know it's possible to make breathable waterproof shoes, but these are not that. Otherwise, they're very comfortable on the trails, rocks and inclines and all.

Really love the wider toe box in these boots as well as how comfortable they are. However, they definitely are not water proof, let alone water resistant. The upper portion of the boot (from the toe up to the laces) is very thin and quickly shows wear and holes.
For the price, I would expect these to last at least 2 years. Just a little over a year of ownership, I'm looking to replace these due to poor quality and tired of having soggy socks.

I ordered these as I saw reviews on various places stating the normal sizes were good for wide feet. I even ordered half a size larger. Definitely NOT true and no wide option. So....these will definitely go back. Wish they had a wide option as they seemed like very nice shoes.

The water resistant feature was great, my feet stayed dry while crossing a small ravine. The fit is true to size and similar to the original Lone Peak. The reason why I only gave it 3 stars was because the heel part of the shoe was incredibly stiff and would hurt after a day hiking (3miles). Tried it on a second hike, same thing and even had . Just want to stick to my original lone peaks which are SO comfortable. Wanted to love these but sadly they're going back.

I love the giant toe boxes of Altra. Last model was great. This model, the metal fastners used to lace the top laces dig into my ankles and really hurt. I was able to get around this by not using one set of the metal lacing bits. Because of this, sometimes the metal laces hooks catch on the sole of my foot as I'm walking (because the shoes aren't laced as tightly as I'd like) causing me to trip. I'm getting a bit of neuropathy in the my foot from the new model, whereas the last model I did not. Seems like the fit changed a bit this time around for the worse. I will still buy the shoe because of the toe box, but hopefully I'm in time for feedback for the next model.

I do not recommend these shoes. My shoes are slightly older version than this, but from the reviews, they look like they have similar issues. The waterproof liner is stiff. It has detached from the outer layer after one three-mile walk and presses uncomfortably on the toes. The liner is so stiff that the shoe makes a huff sound when walking. I am in the process of a manufacturer warranty request for them, but I believe the issues are just bad design. I miss the Ultra All Weather Hiker these replaced.

I wanted to love these but due to their NOT being at all waterproof this caused many problems. I work outdoors and due to high humidity the morning dew on the grass causes dampness and this literally seeps in the shoe causing wetness all day and STINK. The interior of the shoe and my socks are literally wet all day long. I'm not walking through puddles. It's literally from the dew on the grass. Not a win. Trying out the timp to see how it does but liked the roominess and lack of stiffness of the shoe. Pretty comfortable as well but I cannot wear them. Worth noting I understand why someone said they trip. It's due to the lace hooks catching and that's pretty dangerous. Hope Altra upgrades and gets a better quality replacement. They also don't hold up too well. This is after a month of wear, so 20-30 days.

These are comfortable, lightweight and roomy. But, they are not water resistant: my feet are humid after a short walk on wet grass. Disappointing. And they're kind of noisy because if the upper material. But that I wouldn't bother much!

I adore my regular Lone Peaks, and got this All Wthr version for the Wonderland Trail around. Mt. Rainier. Super-comfortable, but absolutely NOT waterproof whatsoever. I've also had a pair of the Lone Peak All Wthr shoe fail at being waterproof. While the style and fit is amazing, I do not recommend anything that Altra says is All Wthr if you depend on it being waterproof.

Welp…they leaked. I was really stoked on these and thought that “all weather” would still be promising. I am normally an 8M in altra runners and these fit the same. I love how cute and minimal they are. So light weight! Great traction too. I’ve worn them maybe 5-6 times and then I took them to rainy Northern California over Christmas. They leaked, bad. Socks soaked. How can a hiking boot do this?! lol! I even used kiwi waterproof spray on them as directed. Sadly I’ll only be able to wear these on a limited basis. For the price, that is ridiculous! I do not recommend if you’ll be hiking in anything but pure dry. Lame.

Love the shape of this boot. Roomy toe box for wide feet like mine. Nice and light with ankle support. They simply aren't waterproof and are mislabeled as all-weather. I've gone on a handful of hikes wearing these. Hiked over packed snow and with some puddles and water went straight through my socks. Bummer!
