Nothing like the original. Even the Rivera 2 is nothing like it. It just keeps getting worse. The original was plush with nothing to impede the foot. If I wanted to wear something hard, with a stabilizer, I'd get the Provision or Escalante. The original version fixed my foot issues, now I have to look elsewhere and there's nothing like the original Rivera anywhere. Maybe one day they'll go back to a good thing.

I have been wearing the Rivera 2 for a while. I wanted to upgrade to the 3 however I can not tolerate how much more narrow they are at the mid foot and toes compared to the 2. There are some pros. The added cushion on the sole is nice. The thinner heel and tongue of the shoe is great. I wish you would make them in a wide or change them to the original or standard shape. Unfortunately I had to return mine after trying them on a walk due to it making my toes fall asleep from being too tight. I even sized up and it did not make a significant difference in width.

At first, these shoes seem incredible. However, hardly over a mile into my run, it's like my feet were rejecting the shoe. Quite literally they were cramping up. It's a no for me dog.
