Walking and short runs. Support is perfect. Very effective while allowing the foot to sit naturally.

A more narrow fit without sacrificing the roomy toe box — heaven! Finally I have found a natural foot-shaped shoe that doesn’t cramp my toes but still feels secure.

Eureka! Plenty of toe room but they still feel secure in the middle for my low volume foot! With so many foot-shaped shoes, I can’t lace them tight enough, leaving my mid foot swimming and unstable. These are made a bit more narrow in the body without sacrificing the roomy toes — hooray!

Yes, go up a half size as recommended. Beyond that, these are AMAZING. Super cushy, zero pressure on my bunion area. I have 9.5 feet that tend to the wide side. I bought a 10, fit great. I ordered this Rivera model along with the Alpine and Torin, and this was the winner! I had zero awareness of my toes on the tip, and it felt the right amount of secure on my foot while being reasonably cute. The sole is more stacked than the other two, that's a 'look' with the Hoka fad and it's not a really major sole, so not a big deal.

My favorite shoe of alltime is the Altra Escalante Racer which I wear for my majority of my 1,900+ miles a year. However... there is a place for more cushioned shoes in the rotation, and that's where the Riveria 3 fits in. The Riveria 3 is perfect, I was not a fan of the Riveria 2, it felt a bit loose on the upper. I appreciate the more narrow fit...I did replace the shoe laces with the Caterpy Run laces which makes for a perfect fit!!!

After some extensive research, I chose these as my first Altra shoes, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! Previously, I was running in On Cloud X in a women's 7.5, but took an women's 8 in these as recommended by the sizing guide. In street shoes, I typically wear a US 7 / EU 37-38, depending on the style and make. Out of the box, these shoes are just beautiful. I love that there's room for my toes to spread out and the shoes hugs my foot well. The colorways are fantastic, and I love that the sole is sturdy, since I run in an urban environment and you never know what you're going to accidentally step on lol. I do feel like there's a little extra room around the toes, but I still don't think I should have sized down to a 7.5. The laces and other details feel like quality and are very well made. This was the first time I've purchased and run in a pair of zero-drop shoes, so I was prepared for an adjustment period, even though I had been running in 4-6mm drop shoes previously. The first few runs in these, I definitely had some hamstring/achilles soreness from the zero-drop adjustment and the back collar rubbed a blister on my heel, but I'm past all that now and really loving the ride in these! The cushioning is a nice mid-level, which makes me feel super comfortable walking or running. I've had persistent knee pain from ITB since my first full marathon, and it is my experience that running in lower drop shoes has been helpful for me in combatting/rehabbing from ITB. I'm now back up to running a consistent 5K with no knee pain whatsoever in these shoes, and I am so grateful! I'll be coming back to Altra for my next pair, for sure. :)

This shoe is so comfortable and fits my narrow foot so well. Such a great shoe for running, but I find myself wearing it to work and everywhere else because it feels so great on my foot. Highly recommended!! More colors/neutrals please. I found it true to size. I absolutely love this shoe!!!

I have tried over 5 different brands and 12 different shoes. These are definitely in my top 5. They are extremely light weight and so comfortable. I highly recommend and Can't wait to try more

I received this product for free to try out and review. I'm on my feet a lot each day and I walk/run - so I feel like I can give a pretty good review of these after a few weeks of consistently wearing them. I've worn many different brands of athletic shoes. To me, the feel of these most closely compare to my New Balance shows. They breathe and they fit the narrow part of my foot really well. They have excellent support and kept my feet feeling good all day long. The color is fun and I get a lot of compliments on that. They fit true to size. My only complaint is that the shoelaces are slick and narrow. They tend to come loose easier than other laces. I will be changing those out. But other than that, they are perfect!

These shies are some of the best running shoes I have tired for my achy feet. They are super comfortable with a great grip. I wear them at the gym and my feet haven't felt this good in a very long time.

I first wore these shoes for some indoor runs on the treadmill and was very happy with how these felt. They are well cushioned and my foot felt secure and comfortable throughout my run. I recently wore these for an outdoor run and was very happy with the support and feel on the uneven path I was on. Overall, these shoes are very comfortable, fit was true to size and I like the outer material as it seems very durable and more waterproof than other running shoes. My only complaint would be the shoe laces as they are too short to double knot.

They did it right with these! I am so in love with these tennis shoes. First things first I'm in love with the color, the look so Fleek. They don't feel clumpy on the feet or heavy , very light weight. I love these to run around and jog. Perfect for active lifestyle or athlesuire. I can't get over how comfortable they are on my feet and I can't wait to get my sister a pair as well. I received so many compliments on the style at the gym.

I don't do running so I'd lie if I say I do but a comfortable footwear is a must for me. I can go for a walk to long ones but is always good with the help of a footwear keeping my feet cool and happy with a breathable tongue and layered mesh, no matter the race-day forecast can be. These are perfect for an everyday wear. They are super comfortable wide enough at toe area a great connection to the ground because I'm an unbalanced person very cushioning , breathable for the sweaty feet just the great shoes for me.

47 year old female. I've had these awesome shoes for a couple weeks now compliments of BzzAgent. I own a pair of Brooks and these shoes are just as comfortable, if not more comfortable than Brooks. The WOMEN'S RIVERA 3 (in Black/Purple) are so comfortable and "bouncy," my feet feel refreshed with every step. Running in them is no different. They still feel cushiony with each stride! I also like the toe box as it's not pointy, but more of a rectangular shape, which I feel really helps allow my toes room for appropriate contact when walking or running. I feel the shoe is "balanced" between the heel and the ball of my foot. The material of the shoes is definitely breathable, but of course it's best to wear socks when you're walking or running. I wear them when I am not exercising without socks because they are so breathable. I would recommend these shoes to family and friends.

I've been wearing these as I've been training daily the past few weeks and WOW! What a difference they make! They're super light, which helps to enhance my longevity and performance, and they absorb a lot of shock to feel as if I'm walking on clouds. I have high arches and they comfortably shape to my feet. For those looking at style, they are extremely pretty sneakers. I love the bold color that has a bit of shine to it so you can reflect if running or walking at night. I was really impressed. I did have one day with a lot of walking where I blistered the backs of my ankles, but that had more to do with my ankle socks creating friction as I trained. I'd highly recommend these shoes. Also, they may feel tight the first time you put them on, but they quickly adjust, break in, and open up to create more room for your foot.

I love this shoe! I have had every version of the Rivera and these are by far the best yet! They have an amazing step in feel, the shoe wraps around your foot like a burrito, and I still feel connected to tue ground! The only things I would like to see updated would be different laces as the ones that come with the shoes come untied easily. I would also like to see a heel counter in these but I guess that wouldn't make it a neutral shoe. These shoes really are great and I hope people give them a chance and yes they are the slim fit and that is true but I don't find them to be too slim they are just right!

These are a more slim fit than other styles, as the description says. I loved my old Paradigms, which are wider, so I wasn't sure this fit would be right for me. But I love these. The toes still have plenty of room, but the shoe doesn't feel as clunky as I sometimes felt in my Paradigms (though they were always so comfortable). The overall sizing feels the same - 7.5 in both fit great, this is just more slim. The cushion is nice for my long runs. I sometimes run on a dirt path & the bottoms of these don't pick up every little rock like my Provisions did. My run feels really good in these. Two thumbs up.

Love how these shoes feel. Super comfy. In fact, they're the most comfortable running shoes I've ever bought and I've been a runner for 30 years. The only negative thing about these shoes is my big toe has already worn a hole on top of the soft material. I've only had them for less than 2 months, so the hole was disappointing. This shoe offers a lot of cushion and I love how roomy the toe box is. Great shoe!

Just got the shoes and looking forward to taking them for a run. However, I won't be able to do that as soon as I'd like, because I need to find a different pair of shoelaces. Had the same issue with the Paradigm 7 - I need the heel-lock lacing, and I don't think my feet are exceptionally large, but after I do the heel-lock loop there isn't enough lace to actually tie the shoes. With what we pay for running shoes, would it kill you guys to give a slightly longer lace? They can always be double-knotted!

I have two pairs of these shoes, and they are definitely different than the first two Riveras. They are better than Rivera 2, but not as cushy as Rivera 1. The biggest difference is that the foot bed is way slimmer than the Rivera 1 or 2. They made a mistake by making the shoelaces way too short, then they gave us shoelaces that become untied. So you have to double knot them. Because the laces are too short, you can barely do a runners knot unless the shoe is tied up so tight. Too tight. I asked them if they would make good on their little mistake and send me some longer shoelaces, but they said they don't have any and to go buy my own.
