First time trying this brand and so far I love it. I love the seemless toe box, nothing rubbing against my toe joint. Wide toe box comfortable. Teal side trim great color. My feet thank you.

A former runner who is now walking and hiking, these are the kind of shoes I've been looking for! I love the support and I really love the original shape which helps my arthritic crooked toes.

For 30 years I have been wondering why wide shoes still hurt my feet. Now I know! I needed a wide toe box plus wide width! I'm a believer! Best shoe purchase I have ever made!!!!

Bought from REI and I love them. Light, grippy, easy to clean. Ran a Spartan 22k in these and never once had to worry about the mud, water, or what my shoes were doing. I will continue to buy them!

Purchased the orange. love the way they look. Excited to run in them.

I was hoping this would be another great Altra fit but it wasn't. I had to send it back. This was my 5th or 6th Altra pair of shoes. Love the wide toe box, cushioning was great, fit was great BUT this pair of shoes hurt my ankle with the seam inside. I looked at all my other Altra shoes and it didn't have this seam right there. So I unfortunately had to return the shoes.

I love Altra shoes and I had one pair before but I needed a pair now which would me more grippy. My orthopedist recommended me the brand for their comfort. The previous pair was 8 and I followed it this time too. When they arrived I loved them for their elegance and performance but after 2 tests I realized they seem a little too large which is interesting as usually the same brand should be consistent w sizing. I decided to exchange them for half a size down, thrn the shoebox will apparently feel a little less roomy as well. I love their style and how grippy and comfortable they are. The only thing the manufacturers should think of it changing the shoelaces which go lose all the time. Those are shoes for active ppl and you guys fail at such a tiny thing!

Altras are the only shoes I have found with a wide enough toe box. The Lone Peak 7 is pretty comfortable. I wish they had more cushion as I need a lot of it. Tried Olympus 5 but they actually felt harder in the sole.

So far so good, I've only had them for a few days. Why are these shoes sold with laces that are too short to be used with the heel lock holes? Can I buy longer matching laces?

Worn these hiking and found the extra toe box width make these the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased, its hard to go back to anything else.

Happy my local fleet feet had the green pair, since the color wasn't awful, but not as good as gray or black would've been for the winter . I speculate they throw darts at a board to come up with a color combos or take them home to their five-year-old to choose them. I digress, OK, about the shoe The toebox is wider than the New Rivera, which I can no longer wear, due to the toebox, becoming extra slim. They don't look so wide that they look clownish. I wore them on a rainy day, and my socks did not get wet, but that often changes after I wash them. I purchased them for pavement, they are adequately cushiony, the sidewalk did not feel slippery, and I found them very comfortable. Someone said the laces were too short, but I didn't have that problem in a size 10. If you just put someone else in charge of the colors, you could probably make some money on this shoe.

Shoes fit comfortably. My only complaint are the shoe laces. They're quite short. For the price, I hate that I have to buy replacement laces.

I have been wearing the loan peak for several years. I love the wide toe box that these shoes are known for. I purchased these about a month ago. I feel that the toe box is a little more narrow than in the 6's. The shoe laces are also too short.

Just like the title states. The store I went to only had the tan and green ones and I went with the green cus it looked "better". Seriously what happened with the colors? Lol. I kinda got used to the pull stab from the 6s so that was an adjustment I'm still getting used to. Other than that it's still a great trail runner!

I have been wearing the LP's for years and feel like this newer model is a little more narrow than past models. Bring back the width Altra and let's add a Vibram outsole to this model as well!!!

I only gave 4 stars because these shoes were just a bit too wide and a smidge too long. I'm still wearing them and they feel great on my feet, but they could be just a little less wide. Other than that, great shoe!

I've hiked in several versions of LP shoes for years, my favorite being the 6. I am unhappy with the new lacing system of the 7. It's very stiff and I'm having trouble finding the perfect setting. Please bring back the traditional eyelets rather than the ghillie system. Also more color choices in wide! Thank you.
