I use these hiking in the Utah desert and Colorado mountains, exercising and work in the hospital. They have been comfortable, given room for my toes to relax and the soles aren't too thick and are more neutral. All these factors help with back and foot pain that other shoes give me. Thankfully they come in very bright colors that compliment the scrubs I wear at work. It is nice to have one item of clothing on that has personality. I purchased two of the current "red" Lone Peaks and bought two of the salmon colored ones 2021 year in fear they will stop making the saturated brilliant colors that pair well with the fit and comfort I adore.

I love the shoes. They are the best. I very much dislike your color schemes. The shoes are by far the best and I have tried so many other brands. Please make black . Grey. White.

These were great right out of the box. Not stiff. Great fit. Very lightweight and comfortable. I love them.

While Altra says this has a "wide toe box" -- and it IS wide enough, also high enough for my feet with one hammertoe -- these are more narrow than my old Altras (long-discontinued model unfortunately). Laces need to be 4-6" longer for a double knot over my high instep. Sometimes I tighten them a bit too much, wanting a better bow, and cut off circulation. I miss grommets for laces, which are easier to loosen and tighten. Otherwise, these Lone Peak are great. When I put them on, my feet want to move! So, for me, to make perfectly perfect, grommets, longer laces, and all black so I can "dress up" in disguise.

First time with this style of shoe and for the first time in my life I no longer have any "feet issues". My toes have the proper room to spread out, I can walk naturally, my toes stopped falling asleep on a daily basis. I love these shoes so much I sent my bestie an identical pair! Best hiking shoes I've ever had.

I have been having foot pain for 6 months. I have small but wide feet. I've been wearing them everywhere. I went to Vegas and walked for hours, I coach soccer and run with the kids in them.

I wear these sneakers to walk and to the gym. They are the most comfortable. Altra are my sneakers of choice .

I'm not a runner, but do a lot of walking with my dog. The shoes are very comfortable on all types of surfaces. The fit is perfect for my wide foot, they look good also!

I love these shoes. I use them to run in the mountains, to scramble up rocks, to walk around my neighborhood. They're light, flexible, breathable, and all-around AMAZING. I've put hundreds of miles on them and have recommended them to every friend who's looking for a new pair of shoes, and they have also loved them. I have zero complaints, and only one suggestion: PLEASE COME OUT WITH AN ALL-BLACK VERSION! I only wish I could have a solid black version to assuage my love of black clothing. Every color way is bright and colorful, which is great! But I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat if I could get a nice pair that were solid black.

My feet and my toes especially are so happy running in these shoes! I was worried the shoes would feel too big but they are great. Roomy but not too big. The shape makes the foot feel more stable.

New to zero drop shoes, replaces my HOKA max cushioned shoes & high arch insoles! Wore for 6 days all day, felt great! I love these shoes and need another pair.

I wore these while doing the Camino de Santiago and couldn't have been happier. Never needed to change my shoes and no blisters. Can't wait for my next Camino and a new pair of Altra's!

I wear Vibram Five Fingers most of the time because they are most comfortable. I wanted something with more protection for some adventures. Other sneakers have bothered my feet after a couple hours. These are always comfy.

I need a wide toe box and I am so happy to have found this shoe for my hiking adventures. Not only does it fit my foot, but it is extremely comfortable and the traction is great.

These are completely comfortable, they make me feel springy and light. The upper conforms nicely and the tread is reliably grippy. I have had no chafing. Best running shoes I have ever had. My foot is medium to narrow and arch is medium.

I've been a loyal Lone Peak wear-er since the 4s, and have been sad to see the durability decrease through out the years until I got these! I got 750 miles out of my LP 7s! Amazing! And I'm sorry, but the colors are dope. I don't know why everyone is complaining about them. I think the color choices are fun! Even the white ones (which yes, I own and they look absolutely thrashed but that just means I'm using them and having a great time). Altra, please don't change a bunch of stuff on the 8's when they come out. For real, these are so good, don't mess with a good thing.
