These running shoes by ultra offer maximum cushioning and provide protection to your knees and back. They are a zero drop sneaker and compared to normal running sneakers with a 12 mm drop there's a noticeable difference in offering less stress to your body.

These were used for street and trail running. Incredible support for both uses. Comfortable and well ventilated

First part of Altras and I LOVED them,. wide toe box, comfy cushion, and not too much heel support so as to avoid heel striking. Big fan!

I wish every Altra shoe could fit like this... Fits like old Altra's with an accommodating toebox and midfoot. Also the upper volume is perfect and not sloppy like the lone peak 6, which has a bit too much space between the top of your foot and the upper. The midsole is surprisingly resilient and bouncy, rather than plush and mushy (like Hokas can feel occasionally). My only complaints are that the upper runs a bit hot and the lockdown is good but not perfect, but as this shoe is meant for slower long runs and recovery this shoe is still closer to a 5/5 than 4/5 for me. Highly recommend

Love every bit about this shoe. The overfill fit feels true all around. Retains a good amount of responsiveness for a high stack option and the rocker is a nice sensation. Definitely a shoe I could use for the longer, slightly slower paced runs. It feels a bit clunky on anything fast paced but it is not a tempo/racing shoe so that makes sense.

MAX cushion, comfort and style. This shoe fits the bill - great for my longer runs or recovery runs. The underfoot feel is the perfect combination of softness and firmness. Also feels more responsive than most other max cushion shoes. A must try!

The all new VIA Olympus has arrived, and I could not be more excited. I have been using Torin's and paradigms religiously for the past 3 years. I feel like the VIA Olympus has blended the best of both worlds with their new road shoe. The VIA Olympus is breathable, responsive, and offers just the right amount of support for short runs, long runs, and anything in-between. I toss these in my gym bag for days I have to run on the treadmill. The shoe is versatile and holds up well on the treadmill as well. You can't go wrong with the VIA Olympus. I may have just found my new favorite road shoes

The Via Olympus is so comfortable. I have a little wider foot. These were comfortable though and cushioning was very nice. I usually wear a 10.5 and I'm used to going up to 11 in a lot of running shoes, but these felt comfortable to me. The wide toe box is great too. It's more flexible even though it's wide. So, you don't have to feel like your foot is moving around. It's a great addition to my running shoes.

Love the cushion tongue, the flat cut my ankles tongue was terrible imo. I enjoyed the firm bounce off the cushion landing with each stride. I honestly felt like I ran faster with less effort. I typically wear an 11.5 in Altra but these felt too snug in 11.5 for me. I'm going to try sizing up a half and go from there.

I have pretty wide feet that have always given me trouble finding shoes. These slipped on rather easily and gave me a ton of support when on the tread mill. So far an A+

The Altra Men's Via running shoes have excellent cushioning and overall fit for serious mileage runners like myself. The overall balance and feel of the shoe are terrific, and the high-quality materials ensure the shoe will be able to cope with big mileage and keep runners comfortable on both short, long, and tempo runs. Highly recommend!

I am amazed because for someone with slightly wide feet and I prefer Adidas sneakers, this shoe was a perfect snug fit no complaints on size. The show also has a a lot of padding on the bottom but is surprisingly light for its size. It really works well. Every step feels cushioned allowing you to run longer and unlike memory foam it is also very firm in some respects. The shoe feels amazing and has a lot of different layering of different types of padding. The technology built into this show is unreal and I was very impressed!

Perfect amount of cushion and the rocker makes me feel stable but ready to roll. This shoe would be awesome for anyone who just wants to be comfortable!

Altra has taken everything I love about the Olympus 5 and put it in a road shoe. The Ego Max cushioning feels great on my feet mile after mile, my heel feels locked in, and the rocker shape in the front helps keep my running form right where I want it. So excited to run my next road marathon on these!

Personally, I have not been the biggest fan of high cushion shoes. This shoe might convert me though! The cushioning is a great blend of softness while still have some responsiveness and road feel, and the toe rock give the shoe a super smooth feeling going through the stride. I used to think all max cushion shoes were bulky and too squishy, but the Via has changed that!

So excited its here. I've been waiting for it to come out for a few weeks now after hearing about it recently. I have several other well cushioned shoes from other brands, but this provides the best fit for all day wear. Cushion is just enough support without being too squishy! Winner Altra!

The VIA is amazing addition to the rotation! Whether you're looking for something for the long haul or looking for something light for a nice short run around town, VIA checks all the boxes. The Original Footshape feels great and colors are Big kudos Altra!

I will be using this mainly as a recovery run shoe. It is a light max cushion shoe, so may also use it for longer training runs.

Well the Olympus 4 that I have is great I wish 5 originally came in complete Black in the beginning thankfully y'all are showing to have a new black on black version now so as soon as y'all get a size 14 back on black option,I will definitely buy two pair!! I was also looking at this Olympus via also because it appears to be Road and off-road version which completely would be great in my at work it's okay with that little color on it if the black is of more percent color!! So this review is kind of on Olympus 4 & the Olympus 5 which I tried but had to return because the coloration didn't work for my job but as far as comfort Olympus 4 and 5 are outstanding and I can't wait to get the five in black on black and then once they have the option mostly black on the Olympus via version I'm there and will purchase that and see if it works also that's great!!

I spend long days on my feet running and then long days in the hospital working (12 hour shifts) can not say I've worm anything that keeps my more comfortable running or working in these long efforts.

I'm not one who normally uses bulkier shoes, but these were perfect after a long day of travel. Whenever I need a bit more support after a tough workout or when I simply want to feel taller, the Via Olympus is what I'm wearing.

These really do feel just like a road version of the Olympus. There is a ton of cushion and a very stable feel to the wide base. The upper is pretty soft and plush. If you like the Altra foot-shaped toe box, this will fit the bill for a max cushion road shoe

LOVE the Original Footshape. Really happy i have a go-to option for all-day use. Soft, yet responsive ride is great for longer miles but i feel really stable compared to other max-cushion brands.
