I purchased my first pair of these for work and the were comfortable, so I purchased a pair for everyday wear.

I love Altra. When I started I trained only in Altras and my feet got so much stronger. The Via Olympus is well cushioned and a fast shoe. It's very responsive.

I have been wearing Altra Olympus fives for years. When I saw the Via Olympus for half price I thought I would would try them. Now I have a new favorite shoe. I love them both!

I have a very wide foot so it's hard to find a shoe that stays comfortable after12 hours on my feet, but this shoe pulls it off, also love the large toe box.

The toe box is amazingly wonderful! No feeling of squeezing your toe from one to another. And the out soles are gripping the ground solidly, even in frosty or icy surface. The midsoles however, is making you feel like walking on top of the clouds, that's strange coz nobody walks on it right? The shoes itself is so light incredibly!

I need a wide toe box - check. I need cushioning, check. I need a rocker, check. I need support, check. Only shoe that gives me everything I need

Love this shoe! About to purchase my 3rd pair. Not a squishy tennis shoe. Thank goodness!!! This is a stable shoe. I feel like I can walk all day. In my profession I am on my feet all day long. These have saved my feet. However, I did have to order a half size up. I am glad I listened to those reviews.

The width is prefect. I have two pair of the original width.

I love the wide, toolbox, the cushion and the support and the lightweight nature of the shoes. Great for walking. I wish the shoestrings were a little longer or they were set up to where you didn't have to tie them.

I'm using this pair for casual life, some exercise usage, etc. I need the wide toe box, so that's why I chose it.

This is my third pair of Via's. Really a backup pair just bought because they were on sale. I like the wide toe box and thick stack height. I would recommend these to anyone.

This shoe FITS! Called by RunnersWorld ironically as a "foot-shaped" shoe, I can now run with a shoe that actually fits! The toe box allows my foot to take the natural shape, which enables the foot to perform the way it should. I have tried extra wide shoes from the legacy companies, but they were still too small. I have had bunion issues, crowded toe issues and a neuroma that a podiatrist could not cure. These Altra Olympus shoes cured it. I am up to 35-40 miles weekly with a weekly long run up to 13 miles. At 58, I am running with more comfort than ever.

I previously ran in Brooks Glycerins/Ghosts and wanted something with a roomier toebox. The VIA Olympus fit all of my needs. They are lightweight, breathable, and provide excellent cushioning. I did end up changing my lacing configuration on the lower portion of the shoe so I had less pressure, this change made them even more comfortable.

Very comfortable walk for an older man (65) with flat feet. The wider toe box makes for a softer walk and no foot tightness at all. The Olympus also adds a bit of bounce to my step on walks with my dog, definitely would recommend them to anyone!

They feel great, fantastic heel-toe roll, breathable, stylish, great cushion, and they stand up to the task of keeping my feet from hurting after walking around all day.

I had a severe foot problem and couldn't walk for weeks. Couldn't find any shoes that I could walk in because if the pain. Got these shoes and immediately noticed a difference. I can finally walk and work again. Highly recommend. They do take a week or so to break in

I walk all day for work and wanted a pair of max cushioning shoes to help with some of the leg fatigue and soreness from a long day. From the 1st day I noticed a difference and am glad I purchased them

Using these as walkers. Super comfortable and great cushioning. Have been using HOKA's and these are equally comfortable. Love the wider toe box.

Along with some insoles these shoes took away The pain on the ball of my foot. Would recommend for a runner and someone who stands or walks on hard concrete for 3 or more hours per day.

I've been looking for a running shoe with a rocker sole and zero drop so I can continue running with some arthritis issues. These are, by far, the best shoes that I could ask for. I love the wide toe box and the cushion is perfect for me. I'm now on my second pair.
