Like many reviewers, Ive been running in Kinvaras
for a while. The flexibility and lower amount of cushioning doesnt cause the foot pain Ive experienced with other models. I was disappointed with the 14s, as they seem noticeably less flexible and have much more cushioning than previous models. Definitely cant feel the ground as much as previous Kinvaras either. Overall not a terrible shoe, just not a Kinvara.

The shoe is probably fine for what it is, but the sole is a big departure from what made Kinvaras my shoe of choice for more than a decade neutral, flexible, low profile, the 14s are none of those things. I returned it immediately after trying it on and bought a stockpile of the 13s while they are still widely available. Sad that I probably have to find a new model going forward, as I have no interest in the super shoe movement, but Saucony was great about the return process.

The shoe doesnt fit as well as previous versions. It feels lose at the heel and tight in the toe, especially on the outside of the foot. The tongue seems to be too large and puts uneven pressure on the top of the foot. The 13 was a much better shoe

I bought the triple black pair and manthey have been great. Very light. I have bad knees in the Army and other shoes tend to activate my torn meniscus. But these I can go fast and far in without any stiffness.

I think I like the Kinvara 13 better. I just dont think the materials will hold help well. Im concerned about the lace holes and the weakness of the sides. All of my kinvaras tear at the side by the foam, but I think this the most fragile material yet.

Dont listen to the hate its just a slightly bouncier Kinvara 13 that doesnt tear as easily.

Super light shoe but very different from the Kinvara's from a few years back. I can't quite figure out what this shoe is for. I feel like Endorphin Speeds are better for intervals and I would choose my Triumphs for easy and long runs.

I bought these a few months ago and have taken my time to process and evaluate both my emotional attachment as well as true performance of the shoe. I began running as a freshman in high school the same year the Kinvara came out and it's all I've worn really - so I feel like I know the Kinvara line well. This iteration of the Kinvara is by far the most different version. It wears differently in both good and bad ways. I wear the Kinvara 14 for all my runs - long, fast, recovery, etc - and it's still an all around shoe in my opinion. It feels good on the foot, I didn't have any weird pains. The major cons of the shoe is the lack of durability. The outsole has no long lasting structure to it, the shoes upper rips in multiple places, and probably my least favorite thing is the shoe laces rip over time because instead of normal shoe holes, the Kinvara 14 has these thin loops that absolutely shred the laces. I also feel like the heel area is a bit too padded so my sock would slip on the material unless I really tied the shoe tight but that would cause upper foot pain, so you have to find the right balance. I don't mind the way they look although I do miss the minimal, sleek look of previous models. Overall they're a decent shoe, 3 stars cause they're above average but barely a 3 over 2 stars. Hopefully durability is fixed in the next model. I'll be buying 13s until the 15s come out, 14s aren't worth the money.

Received my Kinvara 14, Liberty edition, last week. This is a great looking shoe with the inscribed, Land of the Free, inside the tongue and USA on the heel. Shoe came with white and blue shoe laces-I choose the blue. Ive ran in this shoe 3 times already- its comfortable and lightweight.

Kinvara used to be the best shoe I used for training. This iteration has changed way too much about the shoes design. Ive worn the Kinvaras since they were introduced. One aspect that I loved about the shoe was the fact that it had a naturally wider toe box. The toe box is more narrow than previous versions creating numbness and pain in my feet after running in them for less than 3 miles. I am usually able to run 8-10 miles in Kinvaras in one go, but not this time around. There is also no connection with the road. I like to feel the road beneath my feet. Too much cushion, narrow toe box, and has made me look outside Saucony for a comparable 4mm drop shoe. It hurts me to say this but Im disappointed. I use the Endorphin Speed 3s for racing and are a fantastic shoe to run in (8mm drop) but not my favorite for trails and shorter distances. I will miss the Kinvaras.

I have worn many Kinvara models. This one is a disappointment. Same feet. Too tight in the toe box. Irritation. Six miles on them but Saucony wont accept a return.

Very light, with a firm, fast feeling underfoot.
Didn't know they were so dang sparkly when I ordered them though!

Couple months in on these. Awesome - SUPER SIMPLE neutral trainer. Not squishy, not firm, just RESPONSIVE. Wont get a ton of miles in them but you know that going in. Really only should be a $100 shoe though

Long time Kinvara fan I waited on purchasing the 14 due to its big changes and not so good reviews. Finally, I got it on sale and have been really impressed! Its super light, natural feeling, and perfectly cushioned. It feels good at all speeds whether Im sprinting, jogging and everything in between. I never buy wide version shoes but have slightly wider feet. In contrast to other reviews, I have plenty of room in the normal width. This is exactly the daily trainer I have been looking for - firmer, flexible, light and versatile with enough cushion for 10+ mile runs! Will buy again for sure.

This shoe feels amazing and really lightweight if you like feeling that your actually running on ground and not just gliding on clouds this is the shoe for you good for speed workouts mainly but overall can be used as a daily trainer all around which I have done have used it for my long runs as well and loved them . I would have given it a 5 star if its wasnt for the shoe ripping a bit on the side after my 3rd use maybe something to do with quality control but even so I still use the shoe like that since it isnt a big deal but still bothers me that it ripped a bit haha

I have been wearing Kinvaras for a long time. They always felt similar across different models over the years, but this one the fit is completely different. Make sure you try them first. They feel much narrower and overall they feel completely different. Id stick with the 13s for now. Also, the white with grey soles have a very shiny material in them that doesnt show on the pictures.

I've had every model of Kinvara and disappointed how a minimalist shoe now has a pretty large and bulky sole. Unfortunately this significant redesign has caused them to feel quite different than prior versions. The rest of the shoe is light, seems well made, and comfortable.

Had a previous generation of this model and it was great. This current one however was causing pain on top of the big toe knuckle. The cause was the adhesive used to bond the lacing surface to the shoe was hard and not flexible. Every time I took a step that hard adhesive would press down right on top of the knuckle and made walking almost painful. Sent it back right away. Went to a local fleet feet store and got a different shoe that didnt have the adhesive hard spot.

I love the look of it and would of loved the feel of it but it was to narrow for me. So I checked for the wide fit version but the biggest disappointment is that it only comes in black I and I don't buy black running shoes. So I just ended up having to return mines if you don't have a wide foot then this shoe will be great for you.
