The Delta LT (not this one) jacket is my favorite mid layer, period. I have over 10 of them, with a few unopened so that I never run out of them as older ones get worn out or damaged (though so far they're all good as new, including ones I've worn for extended hiking trips abroad). I got this "revised" Delta Jacket when it was on sale, to give it a whirl. It's so much worse. The weird design element being moved from the subtle upper left sleeve to the chest is wholly unwelcome, but it's hardly the only problem. The material is not as good, so while the inside facing layer still has those soft squares, the outside is smoother but just doesn't feel good in comparison to the older LT. The pockets are inexplicably GONE, which is the inexcusable deal breaker for me. The longer sleeves with thumbholes are also just not needed. It's like this item is trying to have a completely different set of functionality (meaning lower everyday practicality without a top layer), and I don't appreciate it. Will buy more Delta LT for as long as it's around, but I'll look at other upmarket brands for mid layers if this "revised" Delta is ultimately all we get.

No side pockets. Basically a expensive zipper shirt!

I recently purchased the Delta jacket and was extremely disappointed with its durability. As a long-time Arc'teryx customer, I have spent over $4,000 on their jackets over the years, always trusting the brand for its quality and resilience. However, during a recent hike, my Delta jacket snagged on a wooden branch, causing the fabric to tear (only previously worn in the city 5-10 times, and owned for one month). Not surprisingly, my warranty claim was denied. It seems that Arc'teryx, once known for its rugged outdoor durability, is now catering more to the comfort of corporate offices. ArtTeryx is simply not the brand it once was several years ago.

Previous gen model especialy with included balaclava and thumb loop was much more technical' and useful than current line of products wich provides less for higher price. Also material was much better back then. I dont recommend this jackets until manufacturer will bring back previous features.
