I purchased this for morning winter runs, which are typically in the 30-45 F temp rangecool but not super cold. So far its served as the perfect layer across that range of temps. Comfy, good fit, and the thumb holes are a great bonus (with the right amount of sleeve length to complement them too). I love the orange color for low light dark winter runs too. Highly recommended!

Solid grid fleece offering. Fits pretty similarly to the old Delta MX but I believe the sleeves may be slightly shorter. I got this as a gift after the purchaser confirmed to me that the initial product feature list included hand pockets but was quite disappointed to discover that this wasn't the case. I still like the fleece but it does limit the versatility in my opinion and was a bit puzzling of a design choice considering the women's version does have hand pockets. C'est la vie.

Bought this jacket on sale and ended up returning it. Was extremely thin. It's stylish but can't be worn as an outer layer at all if there is any wind whatsoever. For the price point I expected more. Lack of hand pockets is a bummer as well. Great for an indoor type jacket or layering I guess (but I would want something a little thicker).

Really liked the jacket overall. Much lighter than I had anticipated. Almost like a shirt. The problem is that it's too long. Definitely made for taller people unfortunately.

Bought this a few weeks ago hoping to replace my 12 year old fleece jacket from a different brand. Overall, I love the jacket, but its really thin. Expected it to be a heavier material that could be used as an outer shell in the 40 degree Fahrenheit range. I still love it, but disappointed that it's not a suitable replacement for that beloved old jacket/pullover. I'm going to keep it regardless because the fit makes it perfect for layering with my Atom LT Jacket. As for it. I'm 6.1 (73.5 in) 200 lbs. Jacket fits perfectly with room to spare. It's very fitted, so if you're self conscious about body image, you might want to elect for something with more flow.

I purchased this jacket because I was looking for something similar in feel to my beloved Fortrez hoody. I didn't necessarily need the hardface exterior, which is why I thought the Delta jacket might be a good fit. Unfortunately, I sent it back because the fit of this jacket does not seem to be "Fitted" as the product details indicate. I'm an 5'7" 135 lbs and small has fit me well with other Arc'teryx pieces. This small felt closer to a medium, or perhaps it's a small in regular fit. Compared to my Fortrez, the torso fit about the same, but the shoulders seemed much wider and the sleeves much longer. It's not a huge difference, but it's enough that I suggest sizing down if you're between sizes. The jacket itself is nice and would be a good lightweight mid-layer. The inside is gridded fleece and the outside is a smooth, though loose weave that's somewhat transparent. It looks prone to snagging so definitely be careful if you don't wear anything over it.

I am a long time Arcteryx gear user. In my opinion, the fabric was superior as to comfort for previous generations of the Delta jacket, with pockets. Sleeve length of the size medium was at least 2" longer than the sleeve length of a size medium, superior Kyanite jacket. Body length of the current Delta jacket in a size medium is approximately 3'' longer than the size medium Kyanite jacket. The current version of the Delta jacket seems to be designed for wearers over 6-feet tall.

This is a high performance jacket with a few issues involving fit and quality. I have a lean athletic build at 6'4 and 180lbs (195cm and 82kg). The large size fits great in the chest, shoulders and neck, but the waist and seat dimensions that are both about 2 inches too long. I am sure if I put on 10 pounds of belly fat the fit would be perfect. I would classify this as a "regular" fit instead of the "fitted" that is advertised. The sleeves are just long enough, thankfully. The jacket does great for what I need it to do. During spring and fall I wear it over a tee so when I go up the rocks its warm enough to be in the breeze. The material is thin but I always run hot so a light jacket like this was what I've been missing. Rune is a great colorway. In winter it goes under an Atom HW if its cold. Lastly, there are some issues with the quality of the garment. There are a few skipped stitches, broken stitches, untrimmed threads, and the pocket seems really lightly attached. The pocket is stitched on two sides but I can't tell if the other two sides are only glued or not. The zipper has threads flying everywhere, ironically it's the once place where QC has to have their eyeballs on to zip the jacket up. I really hope this jacket will last, Viet Thuan Apparel Co - don't let me down!

Jacket would have had more stars if the fleece had pockets like Delta LT. Reality is that in NYC this is perfect to take walks in during Spring and Fall and needs side pockets or under an open shell during winter and you use them pockets as well. Bring back pockets!!!

Fir is good; Is comfy and thumb holes are great vs last editions. But even the Delta LT had pockets. The women's version of this jacket does too; so odd where manufacturers decide to save weight and $. The delta is ideal weight for Carolinas for a good portion of the year, but loses practicality vs the previous Gen.

Was there supposed to be zipper hand pockets as described in the product features? Cause mine didn't come with any hand pockets. I would have given 5stars if it had hand pockets.

I loved the Polartec version. Why'd they mess up a good thing? The fabric feel on this one is just off. If I ever lose my Polartec version I'll have to find another manufacturer who still uses Polartec.

I have been buying Arcteryx products for over 10 years and have well over 10 jackets/fleece etc. More specifically, i have two Delta jackets from the previous generation which i love. This one other than the name has nothing in common with the previous generation, it is a different style, fabric is very thin and does not feel like a fleece. I expected much more for the price! I wish that when Arcteryx introduces a completely new product that they would not use an existing name, which can be very misleading.

Please name these garments something else and bring back the original Delta Polartec fabric and sizing. Like others, I own several that need replacing and find the newer versions disappointing and overpriced.

I have an Arcteryx fleece from 10 years ago that I wear as a mid layer and outer layer for many occasions and absolutely love it. This fleece is not a mid-weight IMO, it is a very light weight. If you hold it up to a window you can see through it. Also, it's tough to pay this much for recycled water bottles.

Expensive for something that isn't very warm. Good look and feel but overall disappointed. Also color wasn't exactly what I wanted and they just told me to return it which is such a hassle. Wish customer service was a little better.

It is really too bad that Arcteryx designers decided to move away from the warm polartec fabric that they used in the Delta for so many years. It was such a great, versatile product. I have several of the old Delta's in many different colours that I wear constantly, over a tee shirt in the house, when going out for urban activities, and it is a staple when I go hiking. If the temperature drops, I just put an Atom hoody over the old Delta and tee shirt and it is perfect. The new jacket looks nice but it feels too thin and cold on my skin and any body warmth gets removed quickly because it is so permeable to air. There are already lots of thin Arcteryx products for running and other outdoor activities so they needn't have changed this one. Please bring back the old Delta, maybe as a "retro" product. A lot of people would buy it.

Ok, but significant downgrade from old one. *No hand pockets *Big patch on front makes it less versatile *New fabric is less durable vs. old one. Sometimes arcteryx product revisions are good. In this case, No-Go. Sad.

Received this in the post today and I am not satisfied. Had the jacket got pockets like the womens version I probably would have kept it. I'll be honest the previous LT was the bomb, arc please listen to your customers and bring it back.

Just bought this newer version of the Delta Light after owning four older models. This jacket no longer has the deep, zippered side pockets that were so useful. The fleece grid is inside, the outer side is knitted-more prone to snags. The one central chest pocket is less useful. The teal blue is beautiful color, but less versatile than the old navy. This jacket model will be as useful as the old for travel, layering, year round wearing, less versatile, more casual looking than original Delta Light.
