Great update over the old delta. Material is thinner but much more performant and fits better into my use cases than the old delta. Only downside is that the sleeves seem to be much wider so that do slide up when layering.

I have an Arcteryx fleece from 10 years ago that I wear as a mid layer and outer layer for many occasions and absolutely love it. This fleece is not a mid-weight IMO, it is a very light weight. If you hold it up to a window you can see through it. Also, it's tough to pay this much for recycled water bottles.

Previous gen model especialy with included balaclava and thumb loop was much more technical and useful than current line of products wich provides less for higher price. Also material was much better back then. I dont recommend this jackets until manufacturer will bring back previous features.

Good fit, great pockets, but the Delta Jacket does not provide any genuine warmth. It is advertised as a fleece jacket but it is not. I expected something better from Arteryx, especially for $200. I have some many Arcteryx products, I feel this jacket is a complete miss. In other words, I don't know when to wear it.

Expensive for something that isnt very warm. Good look and feel but overall disappointed. Also color wasnt exactly what I wanted and they just told me to return it which is such a hassle. Wish customer service was a little better.

The fleece is supposed to deliver better warmth-to-weight ratio.
Not sure if that is the case
I have bought this year 5 Arcteryx products to complete satisfaction ; I am not sur about this one!!

Weight to warmth ratio is amazing for such a lite jacket. The layered fleece pattern holds an impressive amount of body heat. This jacket is obviously not an outer layer for super cold or windy conditions. But as a mid-layer over a long-sleeved tshirt and under a decent shell, you can maintain body heat with activity in cooler to cold conditions. I have been wearing mine since early fall and into our cold midwest pre-winter. All that has been required is a change from an uninsulated shell to insulated to manage the temps from 30s to single digits. I love this jacket!

This is my second delta jacket great as a layering option particularly when you are trying to go light or want something that can easily stuff into a backpack while hiking.

The Delta Jacket is a nice weight for everyday use, and a nice lightweight layer for active use. The fit is a little roomy, but not at all oversized. I think the more casual fit is why I led with "everyday use." I've worn it a half dozen times, but now that winter has hit southwest Colorado, I expect it will become a staple piece in the coming months.

This is a great top for trail running competitions during cooler weather. It doesn't feel like a jacket or a fleece. The fabric is very thin, light weight, and breathable, which keeps me warm without overheating.

Why is Arcteryx persisting with the huge front pocket right on the chest? It makes it not useful for even informal settings. I have two of the previous versions that are excellent and can be used as sweaters.

Got this as a midlayer, but have also been using over a shirt while climbing in 0-5 C. It's light and packs small enough that it lives in my bag even if I don't plan on using it.
After a year of use only sign of wear is a tear from whipping into a tree.

Jacket would have had more stars if the fleece had pockets like Delta LT. Reality is that in NYC this is perfect to take walks in during Spring and Fall and needs side pockets or under an open shell during winter and you use them pockets as well. Bring back pockets!!!

I bought this for myself to use for any outdoor activities I do at work, and it surpassed my initial expectations. Upon receiving the jacket, I couldn't help but notice how thin it felt and I wondered if it would keep me warm whatsoever. After wearing it for a while, I can say that it does extremely well with cool and breezy weather. If you're constantly moving too, it holds heat in really well. It's ability to wick moisture also surprised me, I can't remember ever feeling damp or uncomfortable in it after sweating a little. All together, a really great mid-layer for any type of activity.

Just got the Delta in Medium. Im 58 and 180 and it fits perfectly. A great in-between piece thats more robust than a base layer and active fleece. Incredibly comfortable and breathable. Immediately became a staple for
me. Recommended!

I got this jacket a few weeks ago and have already used it many times. The slate blue color is neutral enough to get by at work and the fleece works well as a light layer for cool evenings. It's comfortable, the fit is good, and I like the thumb holes in the sleeves to provide a little hand warmth. The only thing missing from making it truly great is side pockets.

Recently purchased this light weight fleece jacket. Love it. Its cut right for athletic activities or just to wear around. I see some reviewers want pockets. Given its really light weight - I think the jacket is better without them. Plus, it has a pocket on the chest if really needed for something small. Great item Arcteryx.

Just bought this newer version of the Delta Light after owning four older models. This jacket no longer has the deep, zippered side pockets that were so useful. The fleece grid is inside, the outer side is knitted-more prone to snags. The one central chest pocket is less useful. The teal blue is beautiful color, but less versatile than the old navy. This jacket
model will be as useful as the old for travel, layering, year round wearing, less versatile, more casual looking than original Delta Light.

This is the replacement for the Delta LT, awesome piece of gear. I use it as a mid layer when really cold and as a light outer layer fleece when just cool. Difference and the reason its not 5 stars is they did away with the pockets, giant mistake for me. Also the waffle pattern of the fleece is only on the inside so it kinda seems inside out. Lack of pockets limits it to a mid layer for the most and that makes me sad. The delta will get some use but not like my old trusty delta lt.
