I bought the recovery slide as recommended by my podiatrist he was relentless, I couldn't wait to open the box, I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, I bought a womens's size 10, I always wear a 10 in any shoe, boot sneaker etc. I put the Hoka's on & felt something didn't feel right, I wore them thinking I guess this is how there supposed to be, I'll wait till I see Dr Kim & see what he says, it was a few days later & he said "hmm, no there too wide for you & your slipping, try this other brand" , do your Hokas run big ???

I had the first version of these; really good arch, and SUPER soft heel. I also have version 2; flatter arch, and not quite as soft. Just got version 3 and it seems like everything is heading in the wrong direction. Hardly any arch, and the heel feels firmer than some sneakers. What a bummer. They had an awesome product, and then someone had to "improve" it.

I had way too much space in this. Top strap sat above foot and did not hold my foot inplace. Base was comfy.

I love the recovery slides. I currently have four pairs. I'm just disappointed in the gray that I bought because the picture online shows a darker gray on the bottom and a lighter gray on the top with a contrast and the pair I got were completely light gray like a totally different color.

I usually wear size 8 or 8 1/2. These shoes in size 7 were too big. Length was about half size too big, and the band was two or three sizes too wide!

The sandals run very wide and very large. I've no problem ordering my shoes online and have never returned a purchase until this order. I'm completely lost on what size to order. Do they all run wide? Reading the reviews didn't help at all with my order.

I have returned them for a different size but never received a replacement or refund. I'm told to call back after 2 weeks to file a claim. The tracking still says label created and never updated. There should not be a claim, there should be a delivery or refund. I have 9 pairs of the recovery sandals and I am bet pleased with them. They don't last long but they are comfortable.

I can wear these only for an hour max. They hurt hurt hurt, especially my right foot. I have a tiny bunion and, by the second hour, it feels like someone stabbed my foot with a knife. Horrible.

Unfortunately I had to return. The material is awful and they were huge. I purchased this shoe a few years back for me and my husband and we loved them. I'm thinking now they must have been the Ora recovery 1. Please, please make that one again!!

Bought size 7, they're way to big. I used the store locator on the site to exchange them, however, was told they do not work directly with Hoka. Now, I can't reach anyone to ask where can I go exchange the sandals .
FYI they run big

The recovery slide changed from the previous design I had ordered. The sandel was much to big even when ordering the smaller size. Design is terrible. Color not the same as shown on website. Customer service was horrible. Had to make two trips to post office to return both orders. Website not user friendly. Never again. Still waiting for my refund to post.

The size of the newer slides are very different from previous slides which I have several of and loved. The length was good but they were so loose I could hardly keep them on, I was very disappointed. I wanted to exchange them for Hopara 2 hoping they would fit better. I tried to online chat, also tried calling a couple times but was never able to talk to anyone. I gave up trying so I just returned the slides rather than exchange. I have worn hokas for several years mostly the bondi 8 and slides and loved them I encouraged other people to try Hoka shoes. Hoka changed the Bondi style to a wider sole which didn't work well for me, I actually tripped wearing them. I would very much like to find Hokas that work for me. I'm finding that local shoe stores that carry Hokas have limited stock and don't carry Hopara 2 which I'd like to try. I was sure I'd found the perfect shoes for me but now I'm not sure what to do. Most Hokas I purchased were from Performance Shoes in Tucson and from Fargo ND and Scheels in Fargo.
Disappointed,

I ordered these slides that looked dark gray on the website but they were a light pastel gray. Tried them on for a women's size 8/ Men's 6. Enormous volume all around my foot even with wool hiking socks on. I own an old pair of Women's 8 (average width feet) and they are fantastic and wanted to get a backup pair. These are no replacement. At a minimum size down but they are so loose they wouldnt grip my foot. A woman would have to shuffle her feet to wear these.

These are not the slides I was hoping for. I wore a friend's Hoka Ora Recovery slide. They felt like an extension my foot. Squishy insole that hugged my feet. These slides have a hard insole. No foot hugging squish so my feet slide all over the place. I wish they would make to older ones again.

Not nearly as cushioned as earlier models and the heel stuck so far back as to be dangerous.

When you order a Women's size 8, that's what you should get. This sandal is listed as an all gender M6/W8. In the USA a men's size is generally larger than a women's. The sandal is huge. This gender size issue continues to be a problem with Hoka's all gender products. This is not my first issue with Hoka's gender size. I can't even do a proper exchange because I can't even let customer service know exactly what the problem is so I had to do a full return.
Sadly, I wanted these for a trip I was leaving for this weekend. Unfortunately, I will be leaving without them. And even more frustrating, is that I have to pack them up and drive them to USPS. Maybe Hoka can get some women in customer service who is a size 8 and let me know what size in Men's I should order. If they allowed to attach a photo, I could show how the product size is not listed properly on the sandal, the bag they came in, and the tag.

The length is slightly large which I could handle had my foot fit in the shoe. It is so large youd need 2 pair of thick winter socks on in order to keep it on your foot. I dont know what's wrong with shoe manufacturers these days. They obviously never try on what they make.

I have been a loyal customer for a decade, purchasing multiple pairs of shoes, a year for myself and my family. I will never again buy these shoes. A return was lost in the mail, using the return label given to me by Hoka. They are unwilling to do anything to compensate for the lost item that was meant to be exchanged. Very disappointing.
