These shoes are way less comfortable than I expected. I also hate the colour I chose.

I was so disappointed with these shoes. I own other hoka recovery slides that feel like heaven, but the new model was a cut below. I have wider feet, which wasn't a problem with the original ones I had, but I immediately felt sharp pain across the tops of my feet as soon as I put these on. Not sure why they changed the design or how they messed it up this bad, but it's the last hoka purchase I make.

Super disappointed to buy the size 10 in color requested for xmas present only to find they are non typical sizing. My college runner is a standard size 10. Never bought any other size in Hoka or any other brands. I buy 10-12 pairs per year. Upon reading reviews, this seems to be a consistent issue with this slide.

I have a pair I bought about 2 years ago. Loved them so much I bought a friend a pair as a gift. We both live in them (even indoors!) as they are even more comfortable than bare feet. When they were "updated" I bought another pair. I really wanted to love the new style but there is nothing about it that I like better. They just aren't as comfortable and I'm not a fan of the look of them either. I am still wearing my old ones and very sad that I can't get another pair of the same.

The size 11 was VERY big, even though Zappos and I both agreed that was my usual size! The size 10 fit just fine.

I LOVED THE previous ora made for men or women, I bought them in almost every color! It was the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, and I wear them around the house every day. I tried this new gender neutral ora and it is NOT the same. It is no longer super cushiony and springy, it is hard and flat. The footbed is slick and uncomfortable, and the fit over the top of the foot is now super huge for a woman's foot. They are so loose they won't stay on my feet. They don't even look good! So unhappy - I thought I had found a shoe I would buy and wear for life. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS STYLE OF ORA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The shoes aren't comfortable enough for me, I thought it was a recovery slide but it caused swelling and pain!

I absolutely loved the older generation of recovery slides. They cured my plantar fasciitis that had been plaguing me for over 3 years! I have recommended them to everyone who mentions heel pain and over 10 friends have bought them. That said, I can no longer recommend the new version. They are terrible. Way too narrow (I don't have wide feet), the heel cup is uncomfortable, they are too short, not as squishy. I tried two different sizes and both were uncomfortable for different reasons. I ended up finding an older generation pair online and am anxiously awaiting their arrival. Why ruin a great thing, Hoka?

The shoes are the epitome of ugly. Obscenely so. These make Crocs look like Louboutin's. Aesthetically they are not appealing. Comfort wise, not the greatest. They were more firm than I had anticipated. The wrong color was shipped. I ordered pink but received black. It looked like I was wearing Goodyear tires on my feet.

These shoes were comfortable but ugly as sin. Black instead of pink was sent to me. Looked like I was wearing tires. I couldn’t take these off fast enough.

The shoe is fine compared to a lot of shoes, but the Ora recovery 3 is stiff and overall unpleasant. I LOVE the Ora recovery slide 2. It was my go to shoe for around the house on my hard floors. I bought the Ora 3 to replace my worn out 2’s and these are not the same at all. Sometimes I walk barefoot on my hard floors just to get a break from them.

Not certain what the purpose of this shoe is but it is not a COMFORTABLE shoe. I return; why torture my feet.

They didn't fit. I returned them but I have yet to receive my refund. I will have to do all the follow-up and I'm not happy about the extra time I have to put into this purchase.

Sanders didn't stay on my feet. They slipped off with every step I took. I also felt unsteady on my feet in them.

The slip is too loose on the foot. We tried 3?different sizes and could not get a good fit. The old design was much better. Had to return last try.

I previously owned recovery slides from Hokka and they were amazing. This didn't fit at all, very large for my size and didn't feel supportive in any way. Very disappointed. Returned immediately.

The right shoe is smaller than the other one. I still wear them but I should have sent them back.

I've had previous versions of the recovery slide that I absolutely loved, so I thought I would get a fresh pair. This design is completely different. I absolutely hate the heel cup. I wear a women's size 8 (which would be a 6.5 in men's), but was sent the 6 because they think that is comparable to the women's 8, but it's just a bit too small. With the heel cup, it makes it uncomfortable. I also think this version looks a lot cheaper than previous versions. Will not purchase this one again unless they change the design. Personally, would not recommend.

I wanted to love them, but I can’t even wear them. These are not an option for people with bunions. The plastic or rubber they’re made of if very stiff- great for support- but painful for bunions.
I'd also recommend:

I'm a mens twelve in Hoka shoes. In fact the Hoka 22 seems to fit me perfectly. So I wanted the recover slide. So I got size 12. They are huge, I cannot wear them. Must return for God knows what size. Makes no sense to me.

Not comfortable at all. After wearing it in the house all day for support, inner beginning of heel area on both sides was rubbing against strap.

I have purchased all three generations of recovery slides. I can say that the third generation model is slightly better than the 2nd generation slide. However, I am really disappointed with the quality of the second and third generations of this product. I still wear my 1st generation recovery slide due to its comfort/cushioning.
