I love my old HOKA slides. I live in them. I was so disappointed when I received this new pair. They are harder, and the ridge on the heel cup is absolutely the worst. I bought a Recovery Slide 3 and an Ora Athletic Slide. The Ora is narrower, but the rock hard ridge on the heel cup is horrible on this model as well. They are being returned. I am really bummed. I thought HOKA would always be there for me.

I have the recovery slides. I guess they're the originals but they're amazing. I have three pairs. I was excited to try the new ones cuz I heard they were even better but not for me man. First of all they're huge like ridiculously huge. They're way too big. I couldn't even believe it. So back they went. I did, however, here that the recovery flips and also the regular athletic slides have the original recovery slide DNA. So I'm not thrilled about wearing a shoe that says Hoka and giant letters across the front. But I did order the flip. I'm waiting for them currently. They should be here tomorrow. I'm excited about those. I love Hoka think a fantastic company but you really kind of. I don't know at least still off for the older ones I don't really like the new ones man... I know I'm not alone

These slides are too wide. If I wear heavy socks they kinda fit better but then they rub on my little toe. I very disappointed. Love the color!

I have plantar fasciitis and arthritis in my feet. The original ora slides I have are amazing! These are NOT the same in quality and fit. The material is much harder and the structure now has this curve that cups the back of the heel. Needless to say, I'm disappointed because the original slides really help with recovery when I have pain flare ups and have to work on my feet. Not sure why HOKA has changed the quality, structure, and comfort of this style but it is strong NO and a bit of a disappointment.

Terrible description of item color. They are light pink, not a pearl color. This is my second pair of these recovery slides, but if I had realized that "Cosmic pearl" was actually pink, I wouldn't have bought them

The previous generation to this CHANGED MY LIFE. I used to have back, hip, and knee pain. I decided to give the second generation slides a try and they were like magic slippers. Pain? Gone. I got everyone in my life a pair because that's how impressed with them I was. Fast forward to now when I needed to replace them and I try these abominations. Not as squishy, the heel lip is uncomfortable and never fits just right, and the toe box isn't as roomy. Why ruin a great thing? Bring back the previous generation fit!!!! Please!! PS I wear these as house shoes.

well, they fit nice, and they look awesome on the Hoka website, and yes they're review averae is like 4 outta 5 stars, which is cool, but slipping them on--nothin prepared me for the ginomous contrast between these and my Hoka Gaviota 5 (I own two pair, and love them, and would go to the ends of the earth to by my third and subsequent pair, the Gaviota 5's are comfy enough to wear 9 hours at work, no problem). the Ora Recovery Slide 3 are OK. Not all day-comfort like the Gaviota 5, in fact, a sharp contrast. My knees hate going up & down stairs in most shoes, including the kinda stiff/firm/etc Ora Recovery Slide 3. (In my 14W Gaviota 5's, I could run up & down stairs all day, until I pass out, no worries, no complaints from knees or other joints on the Gaviota 5s)...but these Ora recovery slide 3, man, they look & feel nice, but no cushion, no "ahhhh" sense when walking or doing stairs. I'll buy more Gaviota 5's from Hoka, no sweat. But hey--yours results may be toooootally different than mine, so if a firmer footing is OK and your knees don't yell at you on stairs (like mine), try the Ora recovery slide 3. Hoka knows their stuff =)

I've been a loyal Ora Recovery Slide user, relying on the Ora 1s to manage daily plantar fasciitis pain. When I grabbed a pair of Ora Primos, the difference was obviousmy Ora 1s had completely bottomed out. Excited for the Ora 3s, I expected that same plush comfort, but they turned out stiff and rigid, nothing like the cloud-like cushioning I trusted. I get that some may prefer a firmer feel, but I need immediate comfort, not a break-in period. The biggest frustration? Inconsistent models with no clear heads-up on changes. Without better transparency, it's hard to know what to buy next.

I get innovation and I get design features to entice an entirely new customer base, but what many companies don't realize or won't realize is that leaving it just as is with some additional color options may be all you need for the next version of the shoe. I have 3 pairs of the previous version and love them! They saved my feet. I want to buy more, but cannot find them in my size! I got some of my family members hooked on them too. Everyone loves them. However, Ora 3 slides are nowhere close. The high/large lip in the back to help keep it in place and the overall design all miss the mark!! Bring back the old version. This one is just not working at all!

I even sized up to accommodate wide foot/bunion- still rubbed up on bunion, still too narrow - not therapeutic at all ( as billed)

the sizing from your sneakers to slides are quite strange. I wear 14s in Bondi 8s, 14s in slides could fit Big Foot, tried another pair, now size 11 on chat staff recommendation. Heel kept catching the large lip on the back of the heel. Love my Bondi 8s - on my third pair, and will continue to buy.

I have tried the new slides and they didn't work for me at all, my feet and ankles were swelling. I have worn the original ones for years and loved them I wish I could still buy them,Hoka should give that option. If you decide to sell the original ones again please let me know.

The fit and size were good, but this is advertised as a shoe with arch support and one that helps with plantar fasciitis. After wearing for one day I woke up the next day with both feet hurting. After wearing a second day, it hurt to walk by the end of the day. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone with plantar fasciitis or anyone who needs arch support.

I was disappointed the sandals I had bought over two years ago evidently discontinued. I therefore had to purchase the slide ones. Unfortunately there were too tight. I am grateful for your return policy.

I loved them a lot for a long time until I started getting really bad toe pain. After the podiatrist visit and I was diagnosed with bunions on both feet. I was told to stop wearing HOKA slides. Originally I bought them for plantar fasciitis and bone slurs, came back with a whole different issue for the future now. Surgery for bunions is really bad and complicated. I never had toe pain until I bought these slides earlier this year. Severally regret it. Stay away. Go with a different brand that focuses on legitimate recovery.

Couldn't figure out problem until I looked at sole and noticed one shoe was a full size smaller than I ordered (one was a size 5 and the other a size 6). The other had the surface already peeling (after only one week)

The sole is hard not cushioned. It's too short and too wide for my foot. Seems like mens sizes.
