I found that the slides ran small and when walking they were squeaky.

The sandal is comfortable but the enclosure is too small where it leads to blisters on the outer toe.

I wish they came in half sizes. They're just way too big!! They're definitely comfortable.

I'm typically a huge hoka fan; having owned 10+ pair of the shoes over the last few years.

I loved these slides, but the top of one ripped off while I was walking. The quality of my Hokas is usually amazing (I own 2 other pairs), but for some reason, these literally fell apart in less than a month.

Running big & wide. My size 8 woman, also fits a man, size 6. I am disappointed. Too big

I believe these are defective. Everything else has fit being wide. My toe goes over the edge and I just can't wear them. Sure hope they'll give me a refund.

I slipped at the pool and the slide snapped! Very disappointing! I have a cheap pair of slides that have lasted 1+ year; but these broke in a wink.... that stinks!

I was so excited to get the cushy slides in a gorgeous color, but they were enormous. I ordered my usual size 8 women's but it felt 2 sizes too big. Returned them.

The ora recovery slide 2 is my most worn shoe in adulthood. Love it. Still wearing worn out ones all the time now because the ora 3 have the toe bump that is not designed for all feet. I don't know what purpose it serves specifically for people it works for (presumably keeps your toes locked in better), but for people like me it just produces blisters and foot cramps all the time. (I have longer than normal toes, but not wide feet or anything else special about foot shape. The ridge still just seems to assume that the point at which people's toes start and arch/taper is the same and it's really not that similar for many).
These are shoes for relaxing and recovering. The idea that the toe bump/ridge is necessary or universally beneficial seems very unlikely, but they put it in every ora product and got rid of the old ones.
I get truly sad about it whenever I see them. It will likely be years before I can see a new version that doesn't have this terrible, unnecessary feature and it makes me sad.
I LOVE the ora 2. Can't find one even on massive markup on auction sites in my size anymore. So sad that I never got backups in case something like this happened in the future.
So, so disappointing. I waited a long time to post this in hopes that maybe some alternative without the bump would come along, but alas, here we are...

Buyer beware when returning! Returning items can take up to 30 days for a refund. The 2 to 10 business day for returns is a farce. I've called twice to look into my refund, and I was told by customer service the return process has changed. So if you're buying something to wear, you might want to be absolute sure it fits. The customer service agents have been great, but the employees working in the warehouse are the issue. The last time I buy from Zappos!

Unisex sizing simply does not work for slides. There is way too much volume for my foot. I couldn't keep the slide on even if i added a pair of socks. I have an actual Hoka women's slide size 8 and love it so much I wanted to replace it before I wore it out. Cant find a suitable replacement anywhere, and certainly not in unisex shoes.

I bought my first pair of Hoka Recovery Sandals in '21 and loved them, literally like slipping on a pair of clouds on my feet, over the years the started to break down and it was time for a new pair. My new pair, the updated version, is not as cushy and gives me blisters on my toes. Bring back the OG!

this shoe was wildly uncomfortable - the rubber cut into skin after only 1 minute of walking on my living room rug
I will be returning it in a plain box - not Hoka labeled
thank you

I usually use the sandals for walking around the house or a few blocks outside. It seems they have gotten so big now I want to exchange them, but it has a 30-day return window.

Did not address my heel pain; one further comment is that it is taking the USPS an awfully long time to return to you for my refund; excessive to my mind; it was finally turned over to a return agent on 6/5 though I turned it in to the Post Office on 5/30. Don't know how long it'll take to finally reach your returns center. Have two more pairs of shoes to return to you which I dread due to the long transport time.

They were a full size too large and even thought I got free shipping to deliver them when I returned them for a smaller size I had to pay shipping to get the replacement back!

Tried three different pairs of the adult recovery slide in black. The first pair was the wrong size because the website only listed adult size and didn't specify men or women's sizes. The second pair was flawed because the band on the right foot was much tighter than on the left foot. The third pair I tried was flawed because the foot bed was a half inch shorter than the women's recovery slide in the pink yarrow. The overall length of the shoe was the same. Also, the first pair had the men's and women's size printed on the bottom, but the other two only had the women's size. Maybe it was just a bad run; I don't know, but did not try it a fourth time.
Disappointed,

The design of the slide tops has them covering close to the ankle of the foot, which causes lots of rubbing and consequently sores.
I wanted to love this product as the support is great, but wearing them for any amount of walking is painful.
These run small and not very wide.

It makes no sense. They were labeled as a 9 M, but the tag and markings show them as a US 9W *or* 7M. I thought I'd be fine with a 9M because my tennis shoes are that, but these fit like a 10 W.

This technically fit, but it did not feel good on my feet. My heel rubbed up against the lip around the back of the shoes. I felt pitched forward when walking in them, as if I were wearing a running shoe. These aren’t what I was hoping they’d be for me but appeared well made.
