Unisex sizing simply does not work for slides. There is way too much volume for my foot. I couldn't keep the slide on even if i added a pair of socks. I have an actual Hoka women's slide size 8 and love it so much I wanted to replace it before I wore it out. Cant find a suitable replacement anywhere, and certainly not in unisex shoes.

I bought my first pair of Hoka Recovery Sandals in '21 and loved them, literally like slipping on a pair of clouds on my feet, over the years the started to break down and it was time for a new pair. My new pair, the updated version, is not as cushy and gives me blisters on my toes. Bring back the OG!

this shoe was wildly uncomfortable - the rubber cut into skin after only 1 minute of walking on my living room rug
I will be returning it in a plain box - not Hoka labeled
thank you

I usually use the sandals for walking around the house or a few blocks outside. It seems they have gotten so big now I want to exchange them, but it has a 30-day return window.

Did not address my heel pain; one further comment is that it is taking the USPS an awfully long time to return to you for my refund; excessive to my mind; it was finally turned over to a return agent on 6/5 though I turned it in to the Post Office on 5/30. Don't know how long it'll take to finally reach your returns center. Have two more pairs of shoes to return to you which I dread due to the long transport time.

They were a full size too large and even thought I got free shipping to deliver them when I returned them for a smaller size I had to pay shipping to get the replacement back!

Tried three different pairs of the adult recovery slide in black. The first pair was the wrong size because the website only listed adult size and didn't specify men or women's sizes. The second pair was flawed because the band on the right foot was much tighter than on the left foot. The third pair I tried was flawed because the foot bed was a half inch shorter than the women's recovery slide in the pink yarrow. The overall length of the shoe was the same. Also, the first pair had the men's and women's size printed on the bottom, but the other two only had the women's size. Maybe it was just a bad run; I don't know, but did not try it a fourth time.
Disappointed,

The design of the slide tops has them covering close to the ankle of the foot, which causes lots of rubbing and consequently sores.
I wanted to love this product as the support is great, but wearing them for any amount of walking is painful.
These run small and not very wide.

It makes no sense. They were labeled as a 9 M, but the tag and markings show them as a US 9W *or* 7M. I thought I'd be fine with a 9M because my tennis shoes are that, but these fit like a 10 W.
I'd also recommend:

One of the shoes were larger than other, not by size but width.

This technically fit, but it did not feel good on my feet. My heel rubbed up against the lip around the back of the shoes. I felt pitched forward when walking in them, as if I were wearing a running shoe. These aren’t what I was hoping they’d be for me but appeared well made.

Ordered the recommended size but, disappointly, these slides swallowed my feet. Must go through the hassle of returning now.,

I have owned several pairs of hoka recovery slides. This new style isn't as comfortable at all. They were not as cushiony-much stiffer. I hope they return to the previous style.

I love these sanders not this color. The color is not like it shows on the internet. Very orange. I wish I never bought them! My husband opened the package when they came & through out the wrapping so I am stuck with them. They will sit on the shelf & collect dust. First purchase that I really don't like. Sad because they cost a lot of money.

I need to return the product because it is too big and too wide for my foot. I did consult the sizing chart and ordered the size it indicated would fit, but it does not.

I love the color I chose, but they are very uncomfortable. I originally ordered an eight, but they were too big. I exchanged them for a seven and now these seem too small. I wear the Hoka tennis shoes everyday and I also have a pair of the slip ons with the Velcro that I love. Wanted to try something different. Very disappointed in these.

The old version was both more aesthetically pleasing, and ten dollars cheaper. I'm mad they messed with it.

I love the support in the Hoka shoes so I was excited to try the recovery slides. There is a lip that comes up on the heel. Not a fan. And the material over the foot is too snug. No give.

This sandal is the most uncomfortable sandal that I have tried in my life. The Ora Gen 1 is very smooth and soft an amazing to wear but the Ora 3 is just horrible. There is no cushioning, the back of the slide keep hitting your back and this sandal is just bigger and heavier than the Ora 1. Its like a Tank that you wear. It would be a challenge to wear in tight spots and its pretty much a guarantee that you would hit something. The colors look ugly and the quality has shrunk significantly. Not buying any more pairs and moving to another company that improves there products, not just update to a design that is no longer comfortable to wear! Hoka sandals were great but they lost there reputation with this trash design that has no purpose.

The top strap was so large it didn't touch my foot when I put it on. I do have a narrow foot but these are clearly built for big feet.

My orthopedic surgeon recommended these shoes and so I was eager for them to work. I loved the color options but the straps were far too loose—or large. Unless both your feet are very swollen—or fat—there really is no way the strap works to hold in your foot. I first ordered a smaller size but even that didn’t work. Alas.

I knew it when I putchased. These are men's sizes I wear a 4.5 in men. One size spans mens 4-6
That is 4,4.5, 5.5, 6.
They are terrible and the arch support felt like it was more like a block heel under my heel. It sat too far back and wasshaped nothing like an arch. Just so everyone knows Hokas are manufactured in China. Do i like Hoka shoes, yes, but these are awful. Hika will be " improving" like everything else more cheaply made, more expensive. Make sure to try them and keep only if they are what you want. I was disappointed, because the Mach 5 is heavenly and I am not a runner. I just bought a Mach 6, I think it works, but not as responsibe and energetic as my Mach 5
