The waterproof shoes don't work for me at all, not since the Tor Ultra from many years back. I am a true size 9 and always the 9s are too large and the 8.5 is too small in the waterproof varieties. I've now tried all of the current ones. I am just going to spray waterproof my Bondi leather ones and hope for the best.

I really loved the left shield because it was very plush. The right shoe was not. Sent back.

I work in my feet 8 hours a day in production constantly moving and by the end of the night my feet were on fire. Not only that the middle of my foot hurt for days after I stopped wearing the shoe. This shoe does not live up to the hype. I'll stick to new balance foam runners.

I was sent two different sizes, one size 91/2 and one size 11.
This was the second order for this shoe and both times, I got two different sizes (91/2 and 11).

I have a bunion and they are not good for it. They do not have the bounce/footbed/cushion that I love in the clifton. I am sorry I bought them.

I've never bought Hokas before, & was very concerned about buying online without having trying them on 1st, but unfortunately the nearest retailer is 1hour away, but I took a chance after all the hype. Extremely disappointed at how stiff they are & no cushion really. I expected "clouds" & got stiff soles- might as well be barefoot. I'm going back to Brooks.

I love the look and feel of these shoes but the inner heel lining was shredded after 2 months causing blisters. The good news - Zappos customer service was awesome and arranged for a return.

I’ve worn Hoka’s for years. The Bondi has been awesome. This challenger is the hardest soled sneaker I’ve ever tried on! No cushion at all. Going back!

I love the shoe. My only problem is I have them maybe two weeks and the same started coming apart where the rubber met the material. This could've definitely just been an oversight because I don't want to say I don't like the shoes. I just was scared because the quality Wasn't matching the price.

I can't trust these after my older pair lost the treads after only 6 month and are useless. I have no receipt,so I have to bite the bullet. Can't recommend Hoka shoes, will not buy again!!

I was Thru hiking the Te Araroa and the shoe could not hold up past a week. After owning 8 different pair of trail runners in my life these were easily the worst. I've officially lost my hope in Hokas these Challengers stayed hanging off my backpack ack while I continued to hike the majority of trail in Bedrock Sandals after that.

The running shoes are very uncomfortable. The reviews stated the gym shoe was good with standing , running and comfortability. My feet hurts after 3 hours of wearing. They are definitely not comfortable. I will not recommend for someone that stands long hours like me. I can not get through a entire shift without my feet been in pain. I will be buying from your site again but it will definitely be another shoe. I will not go by what the description states. It's false.

My feet throbbed while walking in these shoes, especially the side of my foot. I thought that if broken in they would get better but after a few weeks wearing on short walks they never improved. sending back

I have previously purchased this shoe and loved it. In don't know what I changed?! I bought these and another pair in orange, returned due to do much pain.
The logo on the outside of the shoe was causing pressure and the width seems different. Stuck with one pair since v they are worn and returned the second pair. Very disappointing.

I love the comfort of Hokas, and have had several pairs for trail running and hiking. Were given these as a gift last year. Started out great, but within the first few months, pieces of the sole started ripping off in chunks, and continued to do so. Unfortunately I waited just over a year to contact Hoka, and they said there's nothing they can do about it. This is clearly a manufacturing defect and they should stand by their product even a few weeks after the warranty. Lesson learned- don't wait too long, and I guess I'll have to find a new brand of comfortable trail runners, as I won't be buying Hoka again.
Disappointed,

I bought these the end of February. I use them for long walks once a week and they are falling apart. I've never had a pair of Hoka's fall apart like these have.

Once I discovered the Challenger ATR I thought all my backpacking feet troubles were over. Pain free hiking all day. My Challenger 6 still has treat and cushioning left after 7 weeks of backpacking plus 1 1/2 years of casual wear around town. Then came the Challenger 7. Redesigned sole. Most of the tread gone after 3 weeks of backpacking, no cushion and achy feet after 5 weeks. I noticed a lot of complaints about this in the review section, and was hoping that you'd be responsive to customer feedback and fixed the problem. Just got my new Hokas. No such luck. Same crappy sole. Are you planing to fix the problem, or do I have to find a different brand?

Back of shoe tilted upward, giving a rocking motion when walking. Felt odd. Not comfortable. And half size too big. Width was perfect..

I'm so sad. I have been buying Hoka's for 10 years now, and they were basically the only shoe I wore! The Challenger was my favorite. The last THREE pairs I bought (2 Challenger and 1 Stinson) no longer had the cushy responsive ride they used to have. I really tried! I returned all 3. Something has changed, and not for the better. I have moved on to a competitor - especially since everyone is making these extra cushy soles now. I was so in love with you, Hoka, but time to break up :-(
