I didnt really understand the hype until I tried on a pair and immediately ordered them in white. They are the most comfortable shoe you will ever wear. I'm not a runner but I'm in healthcare and I could probably be running around in these for 4 days straight with no complaints. So worth it.

To compare the Clifton 8 to the 9, these new 9's are a little bit wider in the toe box a tiny bit longer. Much more cushy in the heel. They feel excellent on my feet (heel spurs, severe toe arthritis). I am not a runner, I'm a walker, and these are perfect for my daily walks and all baking marathons in my kitchen.

We dissapointed that these are not as comfy as my other hooks. They are described as "plush" but wearing them they are very firm. Will be returning

They arrived today. The color is great (eggnog and sand) the toe box is very wide compared to the last few versions. I also really feel the arch support in these compared to my 8's (I have very high arches) . Still running long for the third version in a row but not long enough to size down- I want to keep my toenails ;) I only size up 1/2 a size in hokas compared to a full size in other brands. Like with every version it's an adjustment at first, but you get used to it.

I walk up to 6 miles a day. Had nerve compression surgery to my ankle/foot and calf. I also have plantar fasciitis in both feet. I ordered the Bondi 8 but was curious of the comfort and fit. Went to a local Run store. Tried on the Clifton 9 then the Bondi 8. With my foot issues, the Clifton 9 was was like walking on air. I walked around the store several times and there was no pain, not even a little. These shoes are amazingly comfortable and light. I think the Bondi 8 had too much form for my feet thru the toes and upper sides. The Clifton 9 allows my feet more room. I would have taken a half size larger and the wide width in Bondi 8. The Clifton 9 is true to size. I bought 2 pair for rotation. Hoka is my new brand.

Sizing is 1/2num bigger so size down. The eggnog color is very nice able to wear it out of the box, they do get dirty easily and only ran errands. Very soft and plushy when walking but not to the point that it hurts your feet. I do notice some boy Ching when walking so I'll just have to see how my knees react after wearing for long periods of time. The shoe felt wide on the toe box. Had to return and exchange.

I havent bought it yet but I so will! My daughter says how much she loves them and how they make running great again. I cant wait for these to show up on my doorstep. 5 stars!!
