Let me start by saying I love Hoka and ONLY wear Hoka. I wear the Rincon for every day walking but use the Clifton 8 for running and racing. Was so excited when the Clifton 9 came out. I wore them once and noticed the ball of my foot was burning, too much movement in the toe box. I usually wear a wide so I figured maybe I would try the regular...too narrow. I decided to try another run in the 9. When I got home (5 miles) I had a blister between my big toe and 2nd toe. My sister also wears Clifton 8 to run. She got a massive blister between her 2nd and 3rd toe. Problem is the toe box is too wide and my feet slip around too much...trying the regular width did not help. I packed them up and sent them back and ordered 2 pair of Clifton 8.

LOVE THE COLOR. It's very comfortable, I can only wear HOKA 7, this number series. Dr suggested I try them. Love them

I was scared to run in my new hokas because I didn't want to have to go through the process of breaking them in. However, I've found they don't need any breaking in! They were awesome the first run and have been ever since. They're so comfy and cute I wear them with way more outfits than I should!!

The most comfortable, cushy trainer ever! And that they arrived fast and in perfect condition was the cherry on top!

my first impression when putting on these shoes was that they were very comfortable and quite plushy. however they felt very narrow, even though i have narrow feet and they cut off my foot circulation when running. when i ran in them, i had to continually fix the lacing as i couldn't seem to get fully comfortable without it being too tight in one area. i bought them in a 7.5 and that size worked for my other hokas which were the mach 5. these shoes are very comfortable when walking and running slow but i would not recommend for faster speeds.

I get that everybody's experience is different because every foot is different, but for me HOKA shoes are all I wear. I've tried every model because I have plantar fasciitis and while they're all great, the Clifton 9's take the crown. I do HIIT aerobics in them, lots of jumping and lateral movements and these are great! Tuck jumps for days! Had to break them in for a second but after that, these really feel amazing and work great for my feet.

HOKA has been recommended to me for years. Tried them on and ordered online. Quick delivery. Great shoe. I'm not a runner, but am on my feet all day long. Love these shoes. Might even get encouraged to run a little, since they feel so good.

I already own the Clifton 7 and 8 and love them. But the new Clifton 9 are my new favorite! More cushioning and the top material doesn't pucker as it did on my Clifton 8. I chose the Eggnog/shifting Sand color for something different in my collection but will most definitely be looking for another pair in a different color. Size is consistent with all my other Hoka's. This shoe looks sleek and stylish and is the most comfortable running shoe. I run about 15-20 miles a week and alternate my shoes.

My feet are always cold but the upper on this new version of Clifton 9 was much too hot. The foam felt clunky and sizing was a mess. Normal 9.5 I wear was too long. The 9 felt ok but too narrow. Tried 9 wide version and foot was swimming. I'll stick with my Brooks.

I had to size up after getting a new orthotic from my podiatrist. THE fit was even more perfect! The style isn't so "clownish" like the other style I usually get. This is wide, but not monstrously WIDE. I also love the hint of tannish-bronze on its side against the black color.

This is my second pair of Hokas. They are totally worth the money. I'm on my feet walking/standing all day for work and these never fail me. They are supportive, lightweight and cute!!

I ordered a wide width due to my bunions. The toe box was still too narrow for me. Other than that, the shoe felt great.

I've been on a journey to try to get myself a pair of Hoka Cliftons for about a year now. My interest peaked when the pastel hue line came out and I fell in love with the Clifton 8 green color. I ordered myself a 8 and an 8.5 because that's what I usually am in athletic shoes. Both were too small/tight and the return process was a nightmare so I gave up for a little bit. Fast forward to the release of the Clifton 9. This time I ordered my usual 2 sizes but this time in Wide to see if that was going to help. Tell me why these run so incredibly large? I had to size down to a 7.5 Wide just for the length of the shoe to fit me properly. I have never been anything smaller than an 8 in shoes. I still have yet to be refunded for this return as well and will probably have to go through the same excruciating process to get my money back. Overall I'm really upset that my foot just isn't meant for these shoes. They're truly so comfortable and I think they're super cute, but I can't justify the price if they aren't fitting me properly..

I work in a grocery retailer store, so I am on my feet 8-10 hours a day on hard concrete flooring. These were recommended to be the perfect shoes for my place of work, but they are probably the least comfortable shoes I have. If I hadn't thrown away my box so soon, I would've returned them immediately. After an hour-2 of working, my heels are in the worst pain possible where I am having to stand on my tip toes to relieve the pressure.
