I wound up returning these shoes because they were the most uncomfortable sneakers I have ever worn in my life. This was my first experience trying Hoka and I was really disappointed. I'm an avid runner but purchased these to wear at work since I'm on my feet all day. I can't even imagine running in these because I could barely even walk after my work shift in these. They are heavy as bricks, caused numbness in my feet, and were too wide in the toe area. Will probably never purchase Hokas again and will stick with ASICS (like clouds on my feet!) sorry but I hope this honest review helps somebody because I was very shocked and surprised at how bad these sneakers actually were.

Way too much cushion to the point I don't wear them feel off balanced

These are not comfortable on my feet and cause them to hurt even worse when standing for long period of time .

I couldn't exercise in these, I was sliding around, it has not grip to the ground

This was my college age granddaughter's top wish for Christmas She will be so dissappointed!

I had the Clifton 8 loved them . These I sent back the dudes around ankle were digging in to ankle making cuts not good for my foot different than the8 s can't get my size in the 8 s why change something that works disappointed

I love the Clifton, it's perfect and the right sole height. I picked it some years back because it's not as towering and floaty as the other Hoka models. I've ordered close to ten pairs through the years and love the Clifton 8, 7 and 6. So, when the Clifton 9 came out, I ordered two pair, excited about the colors and new treads for my walks. The box arrived and what? These looks like they have a thicker sole. Gasp, they added 3 mm to the sole and now it's just like all the other models. I wear a wide, so there's no other choice. It was the fastest return I've made. Bring back the Clifton the way it was!!!

Shoes make my feet and some of my toes numb and painfull at the same time by the end of the day. I work in medical feild

Two weeks after buying this shoe, I am laid up with a sprained ankle. I can't walk or put pressure on it at all. I would not recommend these shoes.

I've been wearing Clifton's for years and years. I bought the 9s and immediately they felt different. I persisted and have been running in them a few weeks which has lead to a foot injury. They are like walking/running on hard rocks. I'm so annoyed. Please don't change the shoe model!

This is my 6th pair of Hoka Clifton sneakers. I really like them except for one design flaw - the bottoms of the sneakers on the sole of the sneaker by the balls of the feet peel. The rubber on all 6 pairs I've owned all peel in the same spot just a few weeks after purchase. Even if my running is off - the bottoms should not peel.

I love the look and feel of these shoes but this is my second pair of hokas that has had part of the outsole peel off from the sole within 3 months of use. This is extremely frustrating when I'm paying so much money and it's impossible to get it fixed by hoka. This happened to my last pairs of hoka as well which were a different style.

The first ordered was messed up on the company's part. I was told I'd get 10% off because I had to buy a second pair of shoes, return a pair to the post office. I did NOT get my 10% off. I now have to call again to the company so maybe 20% returned to me is appropriate.

I run in my Clifton 9. They are not comfortable as the Clifton 8s. The size is too big however a size down would be too small.

I have a long history of foot problems including heel spurs, PF, multiple high ankle sprains, and most recently ankle surgery. I went thru dozens of different companies for shoes and finally found my perfect match in the Clifton 7s. I am an OR nurse and am on my feet ALL day. My pain was completely resolved with the 7s, 8s were tolerable. These 9s aren't even recognizable. They aren't as supportive, they wore so quickly, and I am back to being afraid to try any other shoe. Bring back the old versions! These imposters are a no.

I work at the Post Office and I'm on my feet all day. Many people have recommended these shoes to me. I saved up the money and purchased them. HORRIBLE mistake!! They are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever had! I would NOT recommend them. I'm almost in tears by the time I get home from work.

I bought this shoes because several people recommended it. The first day I wore them my feet and lower back started hurting at the end of the day. Second day I wore them again thinking maybe it's because they are new, more lower back pain. I will have to return them. So disappointed.
