It is a good shoe, but the tongue is too long and it chafes. Had to return, despite the reasonable price

I ordered size 7.5 and received size 10. Called customer service, they said it’s out of stock. The only thing they can do is to process return. Such a bad experience! Will never shop zappos again.

Something is wrong with these shoes. They are at least a half to full size smaller. I’ve always been a size 7. They are narrow and just awful. Compared to my Clifton 7 these 9s overall look smaller just by looking at them. Very disappointed. I may have to pay for the new 10s but will try them on locally first.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but unfortunately, they were a huge letdown. The arch support is way too high, to the point where it actually causes discomfort instead of relief. I felt like there was a lump pressing into the middle of my foot. It threw off my balance and made walking awkward and painful. I don’t have flat feet or any special foot issues, so I was surprised by how extreme the arch is. It feels like these were made for a very specific foot type and not for average wearers. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless you really need exaggerated arch support.

There just aren’t comfortable to me.

The shoe caused severe pain to my right foot where you have bunion pain. I was not in any pain prior to putting on this shoe. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and it did help my left foot. I want to return these shoes.

Did not like it very uncomfortable

The fit was true to size the comfort level was very uncomfortable. I was standing in the shoes for about six hours, and I had the worst pain in my ankle back of my legs and back for two full days.

Didn't try on. These shoes have been worn badly. Dog hair on the shoes and inside the box. Shoe bottoms and elsewhere dirty. Missing 2 inches of outsole on either shoe rubber near bottoms (outside/sides). Dog chewing. Laces were the first notice some was wrong just strewn in the box (not tied and tucked) OBVIOUSLY they were never checked from a prior return. I'd like to be sent new shoes, not sitting in dog hair and chewed and worn outside.

I've had Clifton 9 before. But this pair hurt my feet .

Shoes arrived clearly used. The soles are dirty. Returning and will just go in-person to my local running store.

We have always bought Hoka’s but this pair starting peeling on the bottom on the second day of wearing.

You shipped me used shoes but we paid for new.

You sent me used shoes, scuffed with signs of wear on the treads and dirt.

I had the Clifton 8 and loved them, in fact I still have them. But the update on this wasn't as good and the bottom of the shoe has already broken! They are alot more narrow then the 8 and one of the pieces on the bottom of the shoe has come out and now I have to glue them back in. I won't be getting Clifton next time, I will try a different style perhaps

The shoes were fine but I will never order from Zappos again. They sent Hokas in an unmarked generic shoe box that said “original box was damaged in shipment”. The shoes were in fact used so obviously a return that Zappos then resold as new. Shoes were dirty on the bottom.

I never received the shoes. They were delivered elsewhere.

This update did not work for me. The tongue pressures against the side of my feet, esp. the right foot. It’s very uncomfortable to run or walk in.

Order with caution: twice I have ordered a women’s size 11 and received a men’s size 11.

I have been wearing a Hoka Clifton 8 and ordered this Hoka Clifton 9 because it looked the same, but it didn't feel the same and I would not be comfortable walking in it. I don't see Hoka Clifton 8 so I cannot ask for an exchange. Very disappointing...

I have a bad toe on one foot that did not fit this shoe. I am keeping the Bondi I ordered at the same time.

2nd pair I ordered of the same shoe. These shoes s are too narrow. The previous shoes were perfect. Disapointed I may see if they have a wide.

These running shoes are a lot lighter in person. Just what I didn’t want. I chose them because they were the darker of a few gray colored HOKA’s. They are very close to white.
