Very comfortable shoes, the heel is so cushy it feels like it just springs you forward. However, I don't think they are the most attractive looking shoes ... I really only purchased per recommendation from my Dr for plantar fasciitis.

I needed a few days to break them in tho they irritated the top of my feet at the tongue of the shoes other than that they are so comfortable. I wear them to walk around my community a few times a day. Gotta get my 11k+ in a day.

I started having a problem on my left foot. The podiatrist I went to see recommended, specifically, HOKA Clifton 9 and Bondi. One thing I really like about them is the way they give my foot more of the support I need and the wider toe bed.

I have a heel bone spur, and was having a terrible time walking my dog. I tried a variety of orthotics and different brands of shoes, these are the first ones that allow me to walk without a lot of pain. I would love to try some others to see if there something better, but that will have to wait. I have noticed my shoes change my center of gravity, along with my ankles, I turn my ankles in and these shoes help in alignment. Lots of issues on these 70 year old feet, and so far happy with my Hoka Clifton 9.

Great shoe but a little big for my size.

These were recommended to me by my Podiatrist. I'm a nurse and was having horrible pain in legs an hips! Pain is gone from wearing Hokas

shoe is different than any I have used for walking; 3 mi. or more a day and had an issue with unusual pull on my calves. Something to get used to. Like the shoe, just have to break myserlf in with shorter walks until i adjust to my new feet.

I wear them to work where I average 8 to 11 miles a day on concrete floors. The fit is perfect and they are very light weight but 2 hours in and my toes are feeling like they are broken. Not recommended for plantar fascitis in my opinion

Looks like I wait for for new Arahi. The Clifton is ultra cushy but just not supportive enough for me. If you want a great cushioned shoe without breaking the bank? This is it.

I would purchase another pair for daily activities after buying a pair for work in the operating room. Shoes stay comfortable on my feet and back still after 12 hour days.

My heel was hurting after wearing it for 2 days at work.

Amazing shoes that feel like I must be walking on a cloud. Back pain is reduced along with my knee pain while wearing these shoes. I highly recommend these shoes.

I use these for running and they are super comfortable

I've been using them for weeks now and the cushion is wonderful I have bad knees and have had to back surgeries and I can workout with these shoes and have less pain that I've had in the past with previous shoes. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I have a place where the shoe rubs me along my ankle bone.

Hoka is about the only shoe I wear. I had some plantar fasciitis which is thankfully gone now and I have some arthritis. I can now walk for hours and not be in pain in the evening

I use these shoes on a regular basis. I do walking and it really helps me with my back pain. Love these shoes. I do physical therapy for my back and my therapist told me my shoes were the Absoultely best shoes out there.

I was disappointed to find the shoes too tight in the toe box. I wear an 8.5 EE at least. Even though these shoes were touted as wide, they were not wide enough for my feet. They looked like very comfortable and substantial shoes otherwise. I returned the pair I purchased. I had to find a box to put them in for return at the USPS. That was a pain. I didn't have a very satisfying experience. They are good shoes, but like so many others, not made for my feet.

The shoes are extremely comfortable. They literally give you springs when you walk. I work for the Post Office and my coworker noticed them. She was like "Where did you find them in all black?" Only complaint is sizing. I had to return a pair to size down. With the new pair I probably could size down again.

They fit wonderfully. Very comfortable

I use this shoe for jogging in a Masters Exercise class for women 55+!!! Very comfortable with excellent support

LOVE this Clifton 9. Most comfortable Hoka I've ever worn. Use it for my daily 30 to 45 minute walks. Wish the color were a more solid black rather than having the shiny light black lines on it, but not a big deal.

I have owned at least six pairs of Hoka shoes. The Clifton has consistently been my favorite. The new Clifton 9 is the best of all that I have owned so far. Great all around shoe. I wear it mostly for training and walking. The Clifton 9 has the best overall fit and cushioning of all the Hoka's I have owned. I am in between a size 8.5 and a 9 in most shoes. In the Hoka Clifton 9 the size 8.5 fits me best. So, I guess I have to say they run slightly big. In my opinion if in between sizes, choose a half size down. I highly recommend the Clifton 9!
