I walk about 7 miles a night at work. This shoe gives great cushion and my foot pain is gone.

The size is on point. I have a wide foot, but didn't need to size up, just needed the wide. Walking in these is way more comfortable than my ASICS that is my go to. My only "complaint" was my feet did hurt after standing in them all day. I hope that it was me just getting use to the shoe. Overall the walk put a spring in my step, it like walking on marshmallows!

I love these sneakers! No breaking in and no foot pain at the end of the day. I'm going to order another pair... one for going out and one for yard work.

The Clifton 9 I thought was my great find until after two weeks of wearing them. They gave me the cushion I needed, but for som reason the heel support wasn't right and as the two weeks wore on my heels began feeling 'bruised'. I appreciate that Hoka provides a 30 day guarantee. I got my money back. Thank you!

The best walking shoe that I've found anywhere! At 81 yrs old I try to walk 2 miles per day. These shoes are great. My feet never bother me. I forget I e Ben have the shoes on.

The Clifton 8 was my first Hoka shoe. I tried numerous designs in the Hoka brand and settled on the Clifton 8. It was comfortable and a great fit for walking and everyday wear. I was excited when the Clifton 9 came out due to the new colors. The Clifton 9 is a horrendous redesign and fit for the following reasons. 1. The tongue of the shoe is way too long and comes up the front of my leg. 2. The sides of the shoe were designed taller so they now hit and rub against my ankle bones on the inside and outside of my foot. It hurts! 3. The foot bed was designed to be alot more narrow, especially in the ball of the foot and toe area. 4. The shoes height from the inside of the shoe where your foot sits, to the top of the shoe is shorter and runbs against the top of your foot. 5. The foot bed is harder. A LOT HARDER!!! The Clifton 9 It is extremely uncomfortable!!! It hurts to physically wear the Clifton 9 and no longer represents the Clifton model. The redesign is so drastic that Hoka created a new model and appears to have done away with the Clifton. Clifton 8 was an amazing shoe! Why did Hoka ruin the Clifton series shoe? Was it to save a few pennies?

The Clifton 9 is nothing like the previous Clifton models. Horribly uncomfortable! If you are a Clifton 7 or 8 fan, this shoe is not for you. Do not buy it! I am SO DISAPPOINTED! Why the company would so drastically alter a proven product is beyond me. I tried it on at the shop and spent 30 minutes walking in it and could not believe the change in the shoe. I did not buy it. I then ordered new pairs of the Clifton 8 that I found online.

Bought these shoes for neuropathy and work. Very slick soles and something in my pair has rubbed a calous on my foot. Very painful.

I am an RN, on my feet 12-15 hours per shift. They have elevated my back and hip pain!! I'm so GRATEFUL!@

I wear the Cliftons for walking. Love the hot pink! Hey when you are 60+, you have to make a statement. They do seem to run a bit larger than my Bondi 8's but prefer the wiggle room for my toes. I order the same size that I do for my running shoes. Will keep that in mind for next time I order. Either go down a size or not order the wide.

I only wanted one pair of shoes you sent me two pair of shoes two different sizes I was charged for two pairs of shoes but you did not send me any shipping labels to return the pair that did not fit. The size that did not fit were 115 the size that I kept size 9 1/2 were the right wit and the right size. But I could not return the Clifton eight because I have no shipping labels so I have to give them Away

Super comfortable. Easy to walk in. Clifton 9 is super light and easy to slip on.

I use this product for work and everyday walking , everything can't get enough of my feet that is finally heel spur pain free. I'm very happy that I no longer an suffering from heel spur it's been almost a year of pain till my coworker podiatrist recommended Hoka and she passed the info to me. Money well spent.

These are the most comfortable and best fitting sneakers I've ever worn. Great support.

Love the sneaker I was out walking for about 2 hour and my feet DIDN'T HURT so I say it a win for me

I had SEVERE plantar fasciitis in both feet and while I was working with my physician to get relief from that condition these were one of the styles of Hoka recommended for me. I had great relief while I worked through my pain and found them very comfortable to work in!

I sent this one back as it was too big. I can't wait until the send my other pair.

I have the Clifton 8 which is a great shoe. The extra cushion of the Clifton 9 was very appealing. I ordered two sizes and both of them rubbed on my ankles which was very uncomfortable. This was mentioned by another reviewer, but I took a chance. Sadly, I had to send them back.

I work in a hospital it's great being on your feet and great for exercising helps me walk faster on treadmill

I liked the idea of the addition of more cushioning but something is very wrong on the sides . Especially the left foot.

I returned them, in order to get the Bondi 8.

I started having leg cramps after wearing them. Tried it originally for 8 hours, leg cramps. Then tried for 2 hours and had leg cramps. Feels like my feet are in a concave for some reason

I am on my feet all day, this shoe was a big disappointment. Will probably be my last pair of Hoka I will purchase.
