I bought this pair of Cliftons because Cliftons fit me well and are very comfortable. And they give me enough cushion for my plantar fasciitis. Great shoes!

Recently broke my leg and are wearing them to Physical Therapy. Therapist says it was a good shoe and with good support.

Comfortable but runs big

This comment is less about the shoe and more about the size recommended to me based on the shoe size I normally wear in other brands. I normally wear 8.5. It was recommended I get a 9 wide, which seems wrong to me but I went with it because I have never tried Hokas. It feels too big, mostly too long, like I could have gone with an 8.5 wide instead. I wore them anyway, thinking I would give them a chance, but they still feel too big and now it's too late. They are exceptionally cushy though, which is why I purchased them in the first place, and even though the shoe feels too big my feet, knees, and hips are happier. Next time I would search out a retail outlet to try them on first.

These shoes are very comfortable, but I prefer the previous clifton model.

I'm not sure what was changed between the Clifton 8 and the Clifton 9, but I'm not a fan. I have 2 artificial knees, and when I tried to wear my new Clifton 9's, I experienced lots of knee pain and discomfort throughout my days. I'm a 1st grade teacher and live on my feet; I cannot have my knees acting up! I tried them for 1 week and returned them. I'm back to using my old Clifton 8's (I own 2 pair, both of which are amazing!) until I can find a different shoe. I'm so disappointed.

I'm on my feet all day and it have been quite difficult to find good sneakers that would give me support throughout the day. I decided to try on HOKA and I was amazed !! Now I'm on my 4th pair .

These are by far the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. It feels like you're walking on marshmallows. I have neuroma in my right foot and it was a little painful to walk, but with these sneakers I have no pain at all.! I work at a hospital so I'm on my feet pretty much all day and they are super comfortable!

Love the Hokas I just purchased. Walked all over Italy with them. They arrived just in time!

These shoes are awesome to run in, very comfortable and I haven't had any issues so far (had them for a month or so now). The only thing I can note is they are a bit bulky - but I am sure that's due to all the cushion and support they give.

Highly recommend this well made shoe. Fit is perfect and so comfortable walking.

My husband and I have decided to run a half marathon on The Big Island in March of 2024. We have run half marathons in the past but it's been a few years. We are in our 60s. I knew I needed a new pair of Hoka's since that's the only running shoe we wear. I got the Clifton 9s and they've been great. I love the support and comfort. I normally wear a 7 1/2 but always size up. Theses are a 9 and feel and fit great! Wish us luck!!

These shoes are incredible. So comfortable. I feel like I'm walking on marshmallows, they are so amazing! The toe box is roomy and I'm able to wiggle my toes. I can't say enough good things about these shoes.

I bought a 6.5 because I like extra toe room. The width on the toes seems very wide but this is not the wide size. Great colors and comfort. Of note I now receive daily emails from Hoka. Easy on the marketing guys.

I have 2 pairs of Clifton 8 and I find those more comfortable than the Clifton 9 but I am still breaking in the new shoes. In general Hoka has improved my feet!

For a few years, I had a couple of pairs of the Clifton 7, and needed a new pair. So I got the Clifton 9, and was a bit nervous about the fit, since I liked the 7's so much. But it has been such a great transition from the 7 to the 9, and I don't think my feet will suffer much, if at all, with the change. The only downside is that the cost of the shoes is pretty high. I'd like for them to be priced a bit lower.

I've been dealing with heel pain for several months and found a lot of relief from the Clifton 8 that I purchased. I wore them out in 6 months and replaced them with the 9s. So far they are equally comfortable and help with the heel pain. My one gripe is that the tread pieces on the bottom are peeling up pretty easily. I've been able to glue them down but that's kind of disappointing considering their cost.

I have 2 other pairs of Hokas that I am gaga over. I have recommended them to numerous friends and family members. But my most recent pair just feel too wide. It feels like my feet slip around in them. It won't keep me from buying more just next time I will wear around the house more so I can exchange if I need to

I love these shoes! They're so lightweight and comfortable. I bought them for walking on the treadmill and immediately was easily able to walk about a mile further than I had been. 10/10 will be buying another pair when I've worn these out!

I am a nurse on my feet everyday. I would go home with pain every day. My feet no longer hurt me. I will buy these shoes again!

Shoes are comfy but ran smaller than my "usual" size, so I exchanged them for a half-size up. Waiting almost 2-weeks now and the replacements still haven't arrived. Maybe next-day deliveries have spoiled me, but it seems getting new kicks out super fast is a reasonable customer service expectation.
