I love to run and they are wonderful. Very airy and cushionary.

Just bought my 2nd pair of Hoka & love them as much as the first! I bought the Clifton this time & they are very comfortable with essentially no break in period. The quality is excellent & they look great too.

I love the fit and comfort of this shoe. Feels like I'm walking on a cloud.

These Clifton 9 (size 8.5 W) needed no breaking-in period. Very comfortable and surprisingly lightweight. I've worn Clifton 7 and Clifton 8 (size 8.5 W) and both needed a wear-in period. I have wide feet, and bunions on both feet. Thank you Hoka for making wide sizes.

After purchasing my first pair of Cliftons, I decided to purchase a pair for a family member. She's thrilled with her shoes; many of the doctors and techs at the animal hospital where she is employed wear Hoka shoes.

I have 2 pairs of Clifton 8 Hokas - thought C9 would be a style change but NO....sizing change. They are still great - just order 1/2 size up for comfort. More stylish for sure.

I have 2 pairs of the Clifton 8s and LOVE them. I wear them everyday. I have feet that are a tad wide but not wide enough to need a wide shoe. The regular width 8s fit me great. I went to a local sporting goods store and bought my normal size in the new 9s......and bad move on my part, did not try them on. They immediately hurt my feet. I walked a few miles in them hoping they'd break in but no luck. They are too narrow and hurt the top part of my foot. I'm hoping if I try the wide version, they'll work because I love these shoes!

I have several Clifton 8's and they are great. I don't care for the extra padding around the heel and tongue or the extra stack on the 9's. The 9's fit differently and feel too bulky.

I hve enjoyed my Clifton 9's immensely. They are all-day comfortable beginning on day one. I recommend these shoes...well worth the price tag!

I really like the clifton hokas. However, the clifton 9 has a higher profile and tends to rub a little on my ankle, making it harder to break in the shoe. I dont tie the laces as tight and that helps with the tongue not pushing into the top of my ankle.

Not as good as previous 3 pairs because you no longer have the tongue anchored at it's sides to the insole. Therefore the tongue jams in down towards the toe each time I put them on.

Discomfort with bunions, hammer toes and heel pain has been alleviated with the wider toe box and cushion in the heel area. With a high arch, my foot rolled to the outside, but that problem has been helped with an insert for the arch and heel.

I actually am returning this pair, as it did not fit as I expected (as an owner of about five pairs of HOKAs, already). It felt like there was too much in the arch support area, which may be on purpose, but it didn't work for me because I add custom arch supports. They are also a little snugger than usual. Anyway, I was surprised that they didn't fit well, but I ordered a different design in the same color, and they fit like a dream, just like my other pairs. I'm still an enthusiastic HOKA customer... Just found this pair to fit differently than others. So my answer to "Bottom Line" is about this particular design, but it would be the opposite for all other pairs that I own (and HOKA, in general).

Ordered a 10.5, half size up after reading reviews. They are too long. Also I think I need the stability shoe since I'm a walker, not a runner. Will return and reorder.

I did the 30 day no fly exchange which was super seamless, easy, & quick. The first pair were too small despite seemingly being the right size when I did in store try ons The second pair are visually beautiful, have nice cushion, but the right shoe blisters my feet for whatever reason. I've never experienced this with a tennis shoe but I'm also not willing to be wasteful and send back another pair after wear to have them likely tossed. Overall decent but not great.
