Absolutely love these shoes, most comfortable ever ! So light they're like walking on air.
Just make sure to order 1/2 size larger than what their fit chart calculates as they fit snug. They stretch slightly after wearing a bit.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable while being waterproof. These are the first pair of HOKA shoes I have owned and I am extremely impressed. I have been searching for a while for a quality waterproof running/walking shoe. The HOKA Challenger 7 GTX is far and away the cream of the crop.
I found that they fit true to size. I used the extra eyelets to ensure a snug fit in the heel.

Been dealing with sore feet for the past few months. My wife's a big Hoka fan and recommended the Challenger ATR 7 for hiking. Extremely comfortable, enough stability and helping the pain for sure. Love them

I ordered this in 11, the size I normally order from HOKA, but it was a tad small. Returned it for 11.5 and it fits perfectly.

I became a fan of Hokas training for my first half marathon wearing the Clifton 9s. Once I ran those shoes out, I wanted a more all weather shoe to be able to wear in the wet and colder weather conditions. I've only owned this shoe for 5 months of daily wear, light exercise, and barely any wet weather and the heel of the shoe is coming apart, tearing, and has become uncomfortable. Bummed out cause I was really looking forward to these shoes.

I have owned two pairs of the Challenger 7's in the wide size. Both have had delaminating issues with the sole. I don't run in these shoes and they're purely used for comfort and casual activity. I will say that they are extremely comfortable and have help immensely with my plantar fasciitis. However, I attempted to submit a warranty claim for the delaminating issue and since I was a month past the 1 year point of purchase, they would not honor my claim, which is disappointing. This is obviously my issue for not submitting the claim in time, but figured they would still honor it since the shoes are used very little.
Beware of the delaminating issue and be sure to submit a timely claim when you eventually run into an issue with these sneakers.

I am a ICU nurse and these shoes killed my feet after wearing them 3 times. They’re good looking but the comfort and support I need is not there. I will give one more try before I decide to return them

I love the color scheme! The styling is nice overall, but the narrowness of the toe box makes them not ideal.

Had 'em before did alright, just hot upper. This pair doesnt fit front of foot width, sloppy. They are good for water protection and loose ground otherwise stiff
Just finishing up pair of mach 6 and clifton 9. I have to have a pair every 3-4 months with my 12K + steps daily. The fabrics all hold up nicely but knees feet ankles all the way Up and foot drift tell me its time get another pair of cushioning and support well worth the price. The styles make everybody ask about them. My Nurse Wife started me out on the Bondis (very Cushioned), a few years ago. Just finally threw out a box of over 12 pairs saw the dollar signs but the space more valuable.

I purchased four pair of their sneakers and I can't find a single one even in the wide selection that fits me good.

While the fit was good, the sneaker felt more like my Addiction Walkers and it looked too large for the shoe size, i.e. a bit "clunky".
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, Asics, Saucony.

I run in Hoka Bondi shoes and love them. They are a smidgen long so I ordered the Challenger shoes a 1/2 size less. The length was fine but they are narrow!!! I don't think I have wide feet so I was surprised. They got sent back.

Wanted to love these! Gortex, great style and color, made for trail running. Butand a big but.cushioning was sorely lacking. Coming from wearing Nike Pegasus Trail Gortex and their cushioning far surpasses this Hoka and shoe. After a run, my knees and ankles were notably sore. Really disappointing.
Had to return these and will be sticking with Nike Pegasus..

I wanted to love these shoes but sadly "no". Already returned them. They were just clunky. I called and asked about the sizing for "all gender" or women wearing a men's size. I was told, it's fine. No big difference. I disagree. I ordered the size the sale person suggested and the shoe was huge. It was just big all over. Hard to tell comfort level but best I could tell, not as comfortable as other Hoka shoes I've ordered.

I love the vibrant colors on these shoes. I had to switch out the laces to Lock Laces so they stay tight all day and can't come untied. I am a professional caddie so I'm walking in dew most mornings and these shoes keep most of the moisture out.

I will say I loved the shoe. But the treads were bare and coming off shortly after getting them. I will also say that they were exchanged for a new pair and have a great policy for returns if you have issues. As we all know, companies can sometimes change that policy andwhere would I be if that happened. 180 down the drain if that happens.

Great shoe for being on your feet all day but the one huge downfall for me is that the toe box is VERY small. I have pretty thin feet but the toe box is too narrow. Other than that I would say these shoes are awesome. I can't wear them all day because of the toe box but for one shift they are awesome.

Loved them out of the box. Cushiony / grippy
GTX = smaller toe box = little toe grew a 6th toe
Also ended up with a hole in the side of one of the shoes at around 300 miles. I got 360 miles on them now. They are barely going to make it to 400. Was hoping for 400-500 out of them.

Frankly, I'm disappointed in these shoes. I bought them because they were rated to have Plush cushioning. However the cushioning is nothing like my Bondi 7's. I've had four pairs of Bondis, and they are great. I wanted these for trailwalking. They have a better tread than the Bondis for trails, but the cushioning doesn't measure up. My knees and back need to cushioning. I've learned that Plush does not always mean Plush.

This was my first pair of Hoka's. The toe box is extremely narrow and the length overall is too short. The sole has the comfort that Hoka'a are known for.
