This is the second pair of Challenges 7 GTX I purchased (first pair was about 2 years ago). Not as comfortable and plush feeling as the first pair. I found out it is noticeable that the new pair is narrower (about 1/4 inch) and the material around is just a bit less support feeling. Not sure why HOKA wants to change (reduce) the quality when you had a successful product before.

I bought the shoes 4 months ago for work. I only wear them to work, and the material on the ouside of the shoe is already tearing. I have been wearing Hokas for several years and these are the first pair to show signs of wear this fast. I probably will not buy this shoe again, but I will definitely keep buying Hokas.

I work on my feet all day on concrete floors and these seem to hold up very well so far. My feet aren't aching like they always do after work and they feel cushioned when I walk

I am 76 years old with bad knees and a heel that was fractured 20 years ago. I play golf through the winter time in Charlotte, NC. It can be cold (temp in the 30's) and wet. These shoes have kept my feet incredibly warm and dry. I have been very pleased with how good they are. They also provide the plush cushion that the Bondi 8's give me. The only drawback are the limited number of colors available (currently only 3). I highly recommend the Challenger GTX

I purchased the Challenger 7 GTX with hope it would fill the roll the Stinson ATR 7 had provided prior to you discontinuing the Stinson ATR model . The Challenger is not even close to the Stinson for the same money. I would not consider trail running in the Challenger, It is a work shoe at best. The other option is the Speed Goat but you don't make it in a stable variety.

Really enjoy the run in these sneakers. Replace 2-3 yr old pair I thought were treating me well enough but the new stride is much better.

I live in the Desert, they are very comfortable, however the soft comfortable soles are accumulating thorns like crazy, I am constantly pulling them out from the bottom of the soles. I got them cause they are water proof thinking that they would also be tough. I am saving them for golf, or walks on dirt roads and side walks....they weren't designed for wild unpathed terrain.

Nice and light and waterproof here in Seattle. A little difficult to tighten near toes but very comfortable otherwise

I've been running in the rain in London and my feet stayed dry . I also use these Hokas for running on the crushed granite trail around Lady Bird Lake in Austin. Hokas have the best impact absorption of any shoe I've had.

I bought this shoe specifically for golfing on wet / cold days in western NY. Hoka is the best walking shoe that I have found for golf. Great tread and comfort. I only wish they would have a 13.5 size.

Just hiked around the Great Pyramids of Giza, and many Ancient Egyptian Temples. The Hokas are so comfortable, my feet never got tired.

They are very comfortable and they are waterproof. I just wish they made them in wide sizes.

I was highly recommended by several friends about Hoka including those on their feet all day. I'm pretty finicky about most products or services I purchase. The shoes are just wonderful. I do feel like I'm almost floating on these shoes. They fit true to size and easy to get off and on. I'm truly happy about the purchase and will purchase future shoes as well. I only wish the style on their tennis shoes were good so I could purchase them as well.

This shoe feels identical to the speed goat. I expected more cushioning.

Bottom of My right foot hurts. I have reported to the customer service

ATR 7 GTX Size 13 alot wider than my ATR 6 and rolls my feet inward too much fit nothing like my ATR6 that I loved

I needed a lightweight Gortex model for work that can help prevent Plantar fasciitis. This shoe did the trick! They are prefect for walking, jogging, running, prolonged standing, etc.

I really wanted to love these shoes and was excited about the waterproof aspect but they fall short. Within a month I already had small tears/holes in the top of my shoe. The material doesn't seem very durable and the holes completely make the waterproofing pointless.

These are my summer trail running shoes in the desert and up the mountain. Still some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned period. Try them out - you cannot go wrong!!

Bought these shoes for my son who suffers from Plantar Facialitis and Gout. He loves them and said he has been pain free in his feet since wearing them

I've been a huge fan of Hoka for a few years now. I love the shoe and trail boot options!
