My husband has issues with the soles of his feet due to a medical condition, these shoes have helped with his comfort and I am so pleased he likes them Thank you.

I love my Hokas. They fit great and they function great for trail running. But so do a lot of other brands. My only problem with Hokas is they are too expensive. Not by a lot, but enough to feel like I could of gotten the same thing cheaper.

I put almost 900 miles on my Challenger 6 shoes in 5 months last spring. My Challenger 7s have more wear on the soles after less than half the miles in the last 3 months. Same roads and trails. The 7 is also developing a tear on the inside of the heel for no obvious reason. I loved the 6s and was hoping for even better with these but they've disappointed.

I loved the colors on these and they are comfortable but I don't really like the running shoes type of design much. I prefer regular every day shoes or hiking ones. I returned them because they also a bit snug in the front. The colors are so cool that I couldn't resist.

Shoes are well made and comfortable at first. The roll of the heel and angle, make my stance and stride different. But if it helps with the plantar issues, I'll be thrilled

The shoes are comfortable but a bit narrow, and also for trail running, I prefer a wider shoe which allows me to always land flat on the terrain. Finally, I think Hoka has gone too wild on the designs. Need to bring back some more basic designs with less colors and patterns.

Had the Challenger 6 and really liked them. The only thing I didn't like was the heel. Hoka fixed the heel in the Challenger 7. It is now perfect!
Nice work!!!

I don't understand why shoe manufacturers change a good shoe. When they produce a super good shoe they can't seem to understand that it will need to stay the same. I really like the Challenger 6. It feels good, performs good and has added rubber along the front for more protection. Now the new challenger does not have the same durable rubber for a so called trail runner. I am sorry, but that is just so wrong. Next time you come up with a good shoe keep it the same.

I've been looking for supportive shoes to ruck with my 50lb backpack. These shoes make my feet feel as I'm not carrying the extra 50lbs. Ill never wear another brand of shoes again.

I bought these for a 3-week trip in Italy. I have worn them for a week before we leave and they are beyond what I was hoping they were. The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. No wonder so many nurses wear Hokas. Might not ever buy another brand!!

I've been using the Challenger 6 for quite some time and love it, but I was pretty disappointed by the new model. The 7's are much more plush and don't have nearly as firm and stable of a ride. The uppers are also very light and lack the same kind of structure that the 6's had, so your feet may end up sliding laterally (or too far fore/aft) when your feet strike. I'm also not a fan at all of the heel, which guides the foot into a completely different kind of position when it hits the ground--a heel strike, rather than a midsole strike.
It seems like Hoka decided to make the 6's less stable, less structured, softer, and way more like the Cliftons. That's not why the Challengers were good. Misses the point!

Had for less then 6 month. About 6 miles a week and the top meshing is falling apart. Tred is still in great condition and the shoe is comfortable but durability is not great.

The sneakers are nice, the comfort is pretty much the same as many others, but with a price tag above many others.

I've tried these recently at a local shop and decided to place my order through Hoka. My customer service rep, Kelsie, was among the most patient, well-informed, and kind I've experienced in the industry. After trying to fit in a local shoe store I thought the C7s were a versatile crossover shoe for occasional trail running or casual use in different terrains. The uppers are water-resistant, with three different cushioning options that are all comfortable. I chose a neutral/balanced insole because it gives me greater control in different settings.

I normally buy Brooks in size 9. (I have 4 pair of Ghosts.) so I ordered these in a 9. They were too big, so I returned them for an 8 1/2 and they seem a little large, but okay with medium weight socks.
I'd also recommend:
