Wear these nearly everyday. They're Trail runners but I just walk trails in my community and state parks. Normally put 6-7 miles a day in them. Really like them no issues at all

I am on my feet all day and this tennis shoes are very comfortable. They fit right and are also very light on my feet.

This is about my 6th pair of Hokas and like the others, really comfortable and just a great shoe. I use them mostly for hiking, but will do some light jogs and walks. I have been alternating between Sauconys, another shoe I really like, but my last pair were really narrow and had to be returned. Guess I'm now exclusive with Hoka.

I bought these to replace my Challenger 6s before going to a long military training. I used them often for morning workouts and group runs. There were a lot of trails around the area I would run when off-duty. The Challenger 7s held up through the course and still have plenty of life left in them after several hundred miles. The only signs of wear are in the lugs where my foot strikes. The midsole foam is very cushy. It's less responsive than the previous model but that makes it a better road shoe IMHO. It's also a bit lighter than the 6. I've used it on every kind of run from long slow deer trails to track repeats and it's been good for everything. The bottom line: if you want one shoe that can do most of your training miles, and if you run a mix of terrain, this one is a good choice. The only downside for me is that the upper isn't super-breathable for hot weather. Still, this one is easy to recommend.

This is my 1st pair of trail shoes and I am loving them. I used to run in HOKA Arahi 7 but they did not do so good in the dirt and they slipped and slide as I run. So I bought the Challenger 7 shoes and they are wonderful a good buy for sure and a great trail shoe for a beginner at trail running

The shoe itself works for me. I walk 10-15km a day. I had these 11 months. The soles are great, the comfort is great but the uppers aren't. Back of the heal is worn and the side where the shoe bends is worn right through. I have a gtx clifton 9 that shows no sign of wearing. I think GTX is the way to go.

Fast shipping, love, love the color and very comfortable. I wouldn't have expected any less. This is my 3rd pair in about a year or maybe a little more. Not because anything was wrong with them. It's just I love the colors and know they will be comfortable.

I loved the ATR 6. Sturdy, hard wearing, and with heel loops.
I purchased the ATR 7 on the assumption there would be improvements and instead I've been totally underwhelmed. The ATR 7s are Light to the point of feeling cheap, they lack the structure of the ATR 6s and the interior of the heel wore through after a few months of wearing.
I thought I'd found a style of Hokas I could keep buying for years, but I guess the endless need for pointless iterations in the name of a profit margin won out.

I have had a morton's neuroma for the past four years. This shoe has been the only shoe to give me any relief. I wear it for hiking, running and work.

The Hoka shoes were prescribed by my podiatrist to control plantar fasciitis. The Challenger 7 just like my other Hoka shoes are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. For proper fit I buy a size larger.

I bought my first pair through a running store and was delighted. Suffering from plantar faciitis, they offered me comfort. I ordered a second pair from Hoka in black to wear on the golf course. These were exactly the same shoe in every respect, only in black. When I put them on, there were so much tighter on foot. I had to return them.

Pros: looks great, nice style, and comfortable.
Cons: It puffs air or fart like sounds, probably because it's still new and it has no arch supports.
I research the air puffing and it seems that HOKA can have this issue. We will try their suggestions on how to fix it because it's a shame returning a good pair of shoes.

The fit was great, but the toe box was too small. They are amazing looking, and hate to return but cause pain.

Just walking in a playground, a wood chip went through the sole of my brand new shoe. It wasn't a thin sharp wood splinter, just a normal blunt wood chip.

I purchased the wide version of the Challenger 7 and its exactly what I needed. I have a Morton's neuroma that requires a shoe with a very wide toe box to avoid pain. The wide version of the Challenger, combined with buying a half-size larger than my usual shoe size, was perfect. Just returned from wearing these on a multi-day backpacking trip and I was very satisfied with their comfort, grip and stability.

I just started with my second pair of Challenger 7s. I like a whole lot of cushion so I add insoles, but there's a lot of support and vision without. After my first 2 long runs with a fresh pair i my feet don't even feel like I had a long run. I like to run on dirt and gravel and they work well for that, the tread barely wears down for me after almost 300 miles.

These were a duller color in person than what I expected from the online photos. I actually returned them and purchased a different color. I do love this model of Hoka and have several pairs. It's a great shoe!

I'm a big boy and not a runner, but these might be the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. Very light weight and ultra cushy - it's like I'm walking on air. I bought these at the recommendation of a family member and am glad I did.
