This was my 3rd attempt for correct walking shoe. Have found after two weeks that it is a durable shoe with comfort. Wish the Challenger 7 came with more conservative colors.

Was hoping to replace aging Bondi's with torn up collars around the back, but no go on this one. Even though it shows same height at rear to toe - it felt like I was sliding into the front of the shoe. Too steep, and strange. Toe box also a bit tight. Might retry these in 1/2 size larger later, but hoping Bondi 9 shows up soon.

These shoes are cushioned perfectly for me. I can stand/walk for hours. They are light and don't retain heat like my other shoes. They are easy to slip into, no crushed cuff on the back of the shoe. They are more expensive but they are totally worth it

Great Hoka trail shoes. The tread is very aggressive and it has good support. The colors on the one I got, the olive haze, is not as garish as most running shoes these days. I use them for long evening walks on pavement, and occasional interval jogging on dirt. Would def recommend these.

Great shoe but sizing doesn't match up with other styles. Narrower than Bondi.

nice trail shoe with aggressive tread. Fit is pretty good, though the first time I wore them I had issues, though it was probably due to walking with a small pack loaded with sandbags more than the shoes. They look attractive and the colors aren't garish, like most shoes these days, at least in the Olive Haze/Forest Cover color. Hola makes great shoes, and these are no exception.

I've tried lots of brands and styles: new balance, Nike, Saucony, Hoka. The one problem is that although my feet are not wide, I prefer a wide toe box to prevent blisters for long runs. These shoes have held up great, are some of the most comfortable I own, and have enough comfort and responsiveness for me to reach for them weather hitting a tempo run or a zone 2 run.

Great shoes, 11 out of 10 for comfort and design. However, they're not as durable as I would have hoped. One third of the way into the 175mi Tahoe Rim Trail left the tread in ribbons. Replaced them on the next resupply with same shoe given comfort level. Just recommend Hoka improves the tread durability in the future.

I originally bought these shoes locally at a different store. Unfortunately, they don't have anymore of this shoe in my size. So I came here and picked up two more pairs as I use them daily. The Good: The Foam is great for about 3 months. The heel support is much better than other varieties of Hoka's I own. The Mid: Width Sizing is a little tight on me. Length sizing is fine. The Bad: The shoe is disposable and expensive. I'm under 170 lbs and the foam blows out in under 500 miles (walking). It's a night and day difference once the foam goes.

I am an overweight runner with a hitch in my get-along so I need a tough shoe. These are working out pretty good, the outer sole is almost worn out at 250 miles, but they are still comfortable to run 4-5 miles a day in. Most shoes I wear 11.5 but I wear 12 in Hokas, the fit is good.

For me they are the ideal shoe. They provide wonderful arch support and are light weight. Very durable and nice looking. I'd buy them again.

I recently bought Hoka. For the first time. The shoe size I ordered was a bit too small and Hoka exchanged them without any problems. Just text he new shoe and proper size and they feel absolutely amazing

This is my first pair of Hoka's that I purchased of the Hoka site. I was not impressed when I first put these on and walked around in them. Then I pulled insert out (weak at best). I then inserted a different work insole into these and man o man they are extremely comfortable. My feet no longer ache, soreness in my ankle and foot area is now gone. Advise to Hoka on Challenger 7 shoe: Put a better more comfortable insert in and you will have a winner (the stock insert is a joke).

The Challenger 7 came highly recommended for an Ultra trail run I have coming up. As of this writing I have put 20+ miles on these shoes and I will NOT be using them for the event I had hoped I would be using them for. They are stiff and uncomfortable and show no sign of easing up as I might have thought with putting a few miles on them. The energy return is absolutely nonexistent. I had moved to another brand a few years back after a similar experience with a Hoka product that went into the closet after a few runs and never came back out. On a positive note, they do feel durable and look great but that is not enough to bring me back to Hoka. I may very well be done with this product line for good.

Great shoe but runs narrow even if you don’t have wide feet. After receiving my order I stopped by a store to try the same style on a half size larger and they fit great, so definitely go half size up. Returned them and will wait for a color I like to come back in stock in my size.

Thought these would be really comfortable right out of the box for my wrecked feet. They will need some break in. Will give a follow up with review. My Under Armour charged assert 10s are amazingly comfortable compared to these. Will give a follow on feedback.

These Challenger 7 are very comfortable and the color , Obsidian / Anchor goes with just about everything. Been wearing Hoka's for about 5 years now and they have helped my feet amazing. So comfortable that I have only Hoka's for my shoe collection. I use to buy 12EE but the 13's give me that extra width that I need.

I just started using this shoe for refereeing competitive soccer. It is lightweight and very supportive. Best of all my feet don't get sore or tired after a full day of running on the pitch.

I loved the color and cushy comfort but the width of the shoe pushed on my little toes. I bought a wider version of this shoe and so far the fit is better.
