This was a gift for my son to replace the same shoes he bought a long time ago. He is well pleased.

These shoes are super comfortable with incredible cushioning, light weight and amazing traction for trail running and hiking.

The challenger is the most comfortable and capable trail shoe available in today's market. I bought this pair for my stepson who is a Green Barret in the Army and he loves them. Unfortunately I didn't have the same luck with the Hoparas I bought a few months ago. The heel strap ripped right at the pull tab on each shoe. When I called customer service they told me there was nothing they could do, very dissapointing since I've purchased several pairs of Hoka shoes.

I run and walk with them daily. Very light and comfortable.

Sized perfectly, a nice smooth walk. Love 'em.

Great shoe for 3 miles or 30!

Have ran in these 5X now. Mostly trail and a little pavement. My longer run in them was 8 miles and had no hot spots. It's just the right amount of cushion and not spongy at all. Sometimes would get some pain in my heels in the SG5s. I didn't notice the little extra weight compared to the SG5s at all. Highly recommend.

I bought this shoes for everyday wear as well as for occassional trail running. Very light and soft. Feels great. Mineral Brown / Asteroid looked really good in pictures, not so much when I got to see it. Unfortunately I had to return the shoes because of that. Got the color I wanted from a different retailer. I am really happy with the shoes so far

Hoka has once again come up with another great shoe for those of us who suffer from plantar fasciitis. It hugs the heel making for a comfortable stride with all day support. The only issue i have with the shoe is the cut around the ankle area rubs the bottom of my ankle. So far it hasn't led to any pain or issues.

Wore this over Hoopfest basketball weekend, just walking. Probably walked close to 20 miles. Normally my feet and legs would be sore and aching after this much walking. Other than being tired, my feet and legs felt great. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point- as nice and comfortable as they are, they still don't seem like a $100+ shoe.

This trail shoe is worlds more comfortable than the speedgoat. I biked 33 miles yesterday with them and walked 10 miles in the woods the day before. Almost as comfortable as my Clifton 9's (but not quite )

A little narrow in the toe section but overall quite comfortable.

Love the shoe, most comfortable I've had! Would have tasted 5 if they had pull on loop near heel/ankle.
