I've heard all the hipe about Hokas so I decided to purchase a pair. Now that I am older, 61, my feet were sore, and it was difficult to walk with the pain from low quality shoes. At our age we must stay mobile. I've had my first pair of Hokas for a week now and enjoy walking and exercising again! They fit great and have ordered a second pair! I bought a pair of Cliftons for my Ms. Carol, and she loves hers! They seem to be well made and I will keep you posted on their durability. Thanks Hoka you have to two new customers!

I've owned a pair of Clifton 7's & 8's, a pair of Kawana's, and a pair of Arahi's before purchasing the Clifton 9. I've tried Bondi's, Solimar's, Gaviota's, and Kaha low's, but didn't care for those for one reason or another. The Clifton 9's are by far my favorite. I love the fit & feel as there's no slippage and they're comfortably snug without being tight. However, I do understand where some would prefer a wide model. The cushioning is what sets them apart from any other shoe I've ever worn. If you're looking for a comfortable, plush, and lightweight shoe for exercising or daily wear, I recommend you give the new Clifton 9's a try.

Just took these for a test run today and it felt like running on a cloud! For those who have run in the now discontinued NB Beacon before, this shoe feels like a slightly heavier version. Just hoping the durability is good enough to take these to at least 400 miles.

Couldn't wait for the 9's to come out! Went for a short first run last night. Seems everything that was an issue with the 8's was addressed. Felt like the fit across the top of the shoe was way more locked down. Heel slip from before is gone now. Great foam update with a much better meta rocker position to ease the push off. The roll forward is extremely smooth. This will be a great up-tempo option to add to my long slow runs in my Bondi's. Felt slightly narrow but I assume over a week of mileage they will settle in nicely.

The Clifton has become my every day shoe. Whether I'm going for a walk, training in the gym, running on the trail, the Clifton is what I'm taking. Very comfortable shoe and the Clifton 9's now look to be the best looking HOKA in my opinion. Highly recommend everyone give them a try at least once with their return policy being so generous.

I have one pair of the clifton 7s which were my most comfortable shoes and one pair of the 8s that don't seem to fit right (too tight). These are perfect! They are a bit wider in the midfoot, a slightly bigger toe box and they seem a bit softer and are definitely lighter. Fit wise I wouldn't change anything. The design is a bit meh, my wife says they look like space shoes with the reflective lightning bolt pattern. I am willing to overlook these things in favor of comfort. I am loving my black ones and will be ordering the grey as well.
