I was having a problem with pain in my instep. I made an appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in feet. After reviewing my X-rays which revealed some arthritic changes in the metatarsal joints and a flattening of my arch, he suggested that I purchase the Clifton 9. He said the construction of the sole will help ease the pain and give me the needed arch support. He was right.

I have degenerative disc disease and Arthritis in back, hips, knees, and ankles. The support this shoe provides is a game changer for me! Would love to get another pair but a different color, but my size in a wide is constantly sold out. I'll keep trying till I get them!

I was officiating basketball in another shoe for years and now I can officiate twice as many games with no pain in my feet, knees or back. Wish I had learned about these much sooner.

Straight out of box 4.35 mile walk with no problems at all.This is what I have come to expect from Clifton!Only started wearing Hoka's 4 years ago!No other shoes fit my feet like they do!So,I will continue buying as long as they keep to the same standard!

Bought these for long evenings at concerts - 6-8 hours on my feet. These fit the bill PERFECTLY! It feels like my feet are getting a comfortable hug - even after hours on my feet! 10/10. Expensive but worth every penny!

I wear these sneakers just about every day. I bought them to replace a pair of Bondis. They are not as cushioned so it took me a few days to get used to them. But I love them! I get so many compliments on the color!! I would definitely buy them again. I have diabetic neuropathy and these shoes help me move without pain.

It was perfect fit to my feet! If you are looking for comfort while giving back energy to your foot this one is the best for your daily run/work/walk

I walk average 18000-30000 steps 4 days a week on concrete at work and I should've bought these sooner

I work as a physical therapist so I am always talking to clients about making sure they are wearing quality shoes, I now recommend HOKA frequently. I have been very pleased with how these shoes have performed. I am on my feet for 8-10 hours throughout the day. Great for long periods of standing, arches feel very supported, overall excellent shoe for long periods of standing. I have not used them for anything else so I cannot speak to how they do with dynamic movements, unstable terrain, etc....

I'm a big on my feet all day. These sneakers are super comfortable.

Worth every penny

I can't run, due to my knees, but I walk 3 miles a day and these sneakers make the exercise enjoyable.

Started running a year ago and constantly was dealing with pain in my knee. Thinking it was just a me problem I sucked it up and just dealt with it. That was until I was recommended I should try Hoka running shoes. While browsing and doing research I heard that the Clifton's were decent shoes for running. I purchased them and it completely changed my running. Now the only pain I deal with is soreness from running too much! I now run as much as I can and plan to be a lifelong customer of Hoka just because of these shoes. I just signed up for a half marathon and a 50k race so soon I'll get to try Hoka's trail shoes in a couple months and can't wait. Running has changed my life and Hoka has had a big influence on that!

By far the best walking shoe I have ever worn! I've had foot issues and this pair is a blessing for my feet. Thank you HOKA for creating, in my humble opinion, a masterpiece!!
