These shoes are uncomfortable and hurt my feet. I have other Hokas that I like much better (One One)

Comfortable & light but I hate that they put the name in big type on the side and other places.

My 3rd failed pair of Hoka's. I was naive with the 1st. The 2nd was a "wide" and I was told the 3rd was the "widest Hoka yet." All returned because they aren't actually wide. They are just wider than the crazy narrow traditional Hoka's. My feet aren't that wide. I wear typical wide shoes in several other brands, no extra wides or anything like that. My toes felt immediately crammed when I started running, 1 mile in, toes were numb. Measured the shoe 1 inch off of the end of it - the toe box was nearly 1/2 inch more narrow than my current wides from another brand. Hoka's have many great features, but until their designers learn what an actual wide shoe is, I can't buy them.

As others have said, this is not the same Clifton. It is closer to the Bondi now. I would only recommend these shoes if you are walking in them. These are not good running shoes, for me anyway. I've had many pairs of Cliftons over the years and no issues. I've had the Clifton 9's for two weeks now and have had an Achilles issue and now lower back pain. These mega cushion shoes are no good. These are headed back to Hoka and I'm left wondering who to buy shoes from now.....

This is my sixth pair of Hokas. All other models I have worn, including earlier Cliftons, fit me really well. I have worn this pair several days in hopes they would "break in" and become comfortable, but I have finally given up.

This is the second review of these shoes. They do not work for me and I've asked for them to be returned. Please send me a return form. Thank you

I thought I'd give Hoka a try and splurge as I never spend so much on shoes. These shoes started falling apart on me after six month or so and unwearable after nine months, as the toe started to separate from the sole enough that wearing them would be a trip hazard. I usually buy a pair of shoes and wear them for a year, but these didn't last that long. Back to wearing shoes that last twice as long at half the price.

It certainly could be my mistake but I do buy a lot of footwear and I never ever order D. If anything I purchase extra wide. So disappointed

Technically there is nothing wrong, other than they don't fit and I haven't gotten a return label email. They do not feel very stable.

Maybe great for walking, but running in these are awkward and puts strain in knees and shin. I have other Hokas, but cannot recommend this version

These shoes are over hyped just like the Bondi 8. I got both in wides and they were both way too narrow. The middle of my foot is extremely sore and still throbs to this day after wearing them for a few days.

Not enough cushioning and sole was not wide enough to offer me stability. I'm older and I walk five +-miles a day your shoes look great but definitely not accommodating to older users. I've tried many shoes and the Sketchers Long with arch fit meet my needs, I just thought I'd try something more stylish. Work a shoe for older folks there's quiet a few of us out here exercising.

The padding is comfortable. However the shoe is meant to be neutral but is for pronators s it pushes the foot inwards. My Achilles tendons were aching too.

I have been purchasing Cliftons for years and has always been my most comfortable shoe. The Clifton 9 I would not reccommend to anyone because they are not comfortable at all! I waited till I had worn them at least six times thinking they just needed broke in but they still are just as uncomfortable as the first time I wore them. I am sorely disappointed and will not be purchaing any more Cliftons.

I've had several people recommend this shoes to me I walk around 20,000 steps a day at work so I really wanted a great pair of shoes. Unfortunately after a week of using these shoes my feet are in constant pain. I really was excited for these shoes, but I'm disappointed. Maybe these shoes aren't a good fit for my feet I don't know.

These are the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. The outside souls of the shoes look cheap. Definitely don't see what the hype is over these shoes. They make your feet look huge.

Tried two different models and both gave me discomfort in the arch of my right foot. Kept feeling a digging, sharp pain on my right arch and realized it's the just the way the models were designed. Both models were wide width and still experienced that discomfort.
