I walk 5-7 miles a day and finding a sneaker that can hold up to that with cushion is hard. I found these hokas made for walking and not running. The soles will hold up much better with actual treads. The picture on the site is deceiving though. I bought the avocado and expected some variation to the color of the green fabric and a white bottom rim. The fabric is a pretty flat green and the rubber is actually very much grey. I'm happy with them but would like some of the more fun hoka color ways I'm used to before I buy another pair. I also can't figure out how to change the laces to the regular ties from the elastic.

Just got the transport on, the quick lace is nice, but the Cordura upper looks very durable and a bit warmer as well as the vibram sole. I think the loop in the middle of the tongue will be nice to relieve pressure, and the protective toe is a plus. Seems like a sturdy shoe. The castle rock color is grey not a lighter color yet attractive. Thanks for making a large 15

The shoe is attractive but the narrow toe box was disproportional small. I have fairly narrow feet and from just forward of the top of my arch to my toes felt "trapped" by the shoe. I think the the foot base provided the usual comfort and support, but the only thing my feet were telling me was "let me out of here"

First Hoka shoes for me. Kinda "meh," to be honest. I was hoping to be more impressed with the fit/comfort.

I thought this shoe whould have had a softer feel based on the website description. It looks good but is just an average ride for daily walkers. My slip on sketchers are more comfortable for a third of the price.

These shoes look great and feel great! However they make a noise as I walk. Not a squeak but the fabric where the shoe folds as I walk makes a loud noise that is annoying. I regret buying them!

Given Hoka's reputation for cushioning and being an overall great athletic shoe, I was expecting more from the Transport shoe. I bought these shoes specifically for a trip to Japan, knowing that I would be on my feet all day and expecting 20,000+ steps daily. The shoe started nice, but I noticed over time that support was lacking, and the cushioning was not up to par compared to Asics. I ended up with heel pain and some foot cramping that led to me to purchase another pair of shoes while on my trip. This is an OK shoe for light daily wear, but definitiely not something for all day walking.

I liked the style, but just wearing some thin ankle socks, both feet had the toes pressed to tight into the shoe front. I usually wear two pairs of functional walking socks.

I wish the sole was made for better metatarsal support. The 9.5 was too snug on my toe fit.

The shoe was perfect size fit perfect. Only issue was the the shoe was suppose to be white/white but it had some discoloration that made parts of the shoe pinkish red.

I have loved all three of my Bondi Hokas. This Transport I don't like at all. The toe box is tight, unlike others, and hurts my foot. I also do not like the lacing system. I won't be buying another pair of Transports but will stick with the Bondi.

I purchased a 9.5 Transport EE it feels too tight .. doesnt even feel like a regular 9.5. I think there's a design flaw! I don't like this shoe!

I'm sure this doesn't apply to all their shoes however I'm reviewing my experience. The fit was okay. The uncontrollable squeak that alerts everyone 8n the office that I'm coming is a feature I can do without. I would expect this from an inexpensive sneaker. If you are going to charge a premium for your shoes, ensure your quality control is on par. Unfortunately, I didn't start using these shoes until after the return date so I'm stuck with "squish, squish, squish!"

Got these shoes because I liked the color/style and the apparent practicality of the shoe. I got standard sizing, since I don't usually buy wide shoes. I'd say the standard size is made for narrow or low-volume feet, so the wide sizing is probably more appropriate for standard feet. I'm not sure if people with actual wide feet can feel comfortable in this shoe. I think the shoe suffers from low volume mostly, because if I remove the insole then it actually ends up feeling much more comfortable. In my case, they don't have the color I like in Wide sizing, so I ended up finding some very thin insoles and that has helped the sizing issue.

The right shoe is pinching my right toe. The shoes were comfortable and enjoyable for the first two weeks. I have switched back to my Nike's :(

This was my first HOKA purchase. I researched some of the best walking shoes and these came up high on many lists. I'm really pleased with the fit and comfort, but as many other reviews have stated, they are a really noisy shoe. It's more of a "squishing" sound than a higher squeak, but it's audible. You can hear me coming around the corner for sure. It's pretty annoying. I love the shoe otherwise, but for the price point and noise they make, had to give it a three star.
