I've tried the 3 color ways of the Transport shoe and for me having the contrasting white sole was the better look. While I can see the black on black being a choice for the travel world, the all gray seemed to old for my taste. If the black had a white sole it would have been a done deal. I settled on the All Gender model (having the gum accent color was a nice touch). Looking forward to seeing if the contrasting sole shows up in the future. These make great everyday shoes. I love the color of my other Hoka (trail, hiking, running shoes/boots) and like the more sedate options which the Transport brings. Shoes a great in comfort -the squeaking does go away after a slight break-in period. Bravo to the folks at Hoka.

This would be my favorite shoe, but are a little narrow in the front half of the shoe. Very light and stylish. They push you forward as you walk with great stable cushioning. I bought this for some upcoming travel with casual city & mountain hikes. I have work them for 2 weeks and they are stretching slightly, but still more snug than I am used to. I would still recommend, but be cautious with the narrowness.

The Transport is a great everyday shoe for street and paved path walking, whether easy strolling or amped up speed walking. I may get a second pair.

I wear many models of Hoka. This is a whole new style and feel. I find myself wearing them for everyday use as I do stuff throughout the day. The feel is a little more "sturdier" and structured than most others. Which I like for everyday use. It feels a little tighter in the front part.

The Hoka Transport needs to be revised to have a wider toe box. Since it has a cordura upper (which is a stiff material), it needs to be widened to accommodate wide footed customers. Other than that, everything is good to go.

This purchase was justified in the first few steps. The effect the design had on walking comfort was immediately noticeable and has helped me in my daily fitness routine. Highly recommended.

This is a good, not great, walking shoe, which is the reason I purchased it. conforms to foot well. It does not have the amount of cushion that I expected from HOKA, but is certainly functional.

I purchased these shoes to walk my dog every morning as the season was changing to spring. Generally I am very happy with them, as they have been great out of the box. I did experience the slight squeaking for the first day or so, but that has stopped as the rubber has become worn. I love the quick lace convenience and the shoes are a great combination of support and comfort for all day on your feet, my only criticisms would be (a) the uppers are heavier than I expected for a transitional shoe, and (b) as I've seen in other reviews, the pictures make these black shoes look like they are a combination of black shades, but in fact they are just BLACK. Not necessarily a problem, but it does make them look a little like the sort of shoes worn by police officers and security guards, rather than a leisure item.

Not so ample as other Hokas, it seemed: a little tight for me.

Can't say as I had to return them, unfortunately. Size12 was too small. I ended up up buying one size up from LL Bean. Perfect

Using for casual and walking. Very comfortable and happy with the purchase but a little concerned about the tread wear. Showing signs of wear after 75 or so miles of walking on concrete sidewalks. Of the soles hold up then I would change my rating to 5 stars

Love how easy the shoe is to put on and take off, perfect for airport travel. Bought these new and went strait into a 3 week European trip with a good amount of walking/hiking and they help up great!

I found this style to be more narrow than other styles I run and work out in. I wish it came in a wide, however I don't need a wide in my other styles.

Used this shoe for a two week trip which involved a lot of airports and train stations, averaged about 8 miles a day on foot. I wasn't sure about the lace system but am happy with it after getting used to them, but with that said regular laces are included if the bungee cord thing isn't your style. My only other worry was breathability which I'm sad to say really doesn't exist in this shoe (hence the 4 stars) - as they aren't really water resistant this is an unfortunate down side.
Other comments - I got these in grey, the darker color in the heel is more grey than blue as it looks in the pictures on the website. The lighter grey at the front of the shoe gets dirty easily and it shows. The soles are vibram brand, I'm really happy with the grip and the level of wear on the treads after the abuse they took over my trip.
Overall thoughts: I like them, breathability isn't quite what I would like, but otherwise a really solid shoe that I would buy again and recommend to anyone needing a good walking around pair.
PS: I've seen all three colors in person and can tell you that you want the grey ones.

Seems like Hoka is making their styles more narrow with each release. I normally fit better into wide Hokas but on occasion can get away with a standard width. These aren't close. Even wide Hoka's I've tried lately are way too narrow.

So these have been ok. Definitely not the ones my feet like the best. However they do have the quick lace’s which are really nice for getting in and going. I’ve started to wear these just for mounting biking because of the quick laces and my feet really not liking for walking. The quick laces definitely help out when riding. No issues with lace’s getting in the sprocket.

I seen HOKA advertised on line and read so many great reviews and suffering from plantar fasciatis I purchased a pair.
My pain was a 10 very unbearable and since I work in the Nursing field I'm on feet. I took a leap of faith, and I regret not buying sooner, I recommend HOKA to whomever is wanting a great pair of shoes, supportive, made for comfort and yes stylish too. Pure heaven for my feet.

Just received the Transport. I'm a long time Hoka owner and a size 9 has been a perfect fit across five styles. My intent is to take this shoe to my upcoming trip to Europe and it will be my only shoe. I'm walking around the house now....so far so good. The sole does squeak, but that subsided in a couple of hours walking around the house. The fit for me is snug, but I am a M closer to a N width, so I'm ok with it. If you are wider, it may take a bit to stretch with the Cordura material.

The Transports easy-tie shoe laces are too short -- fully opened I cannot get my foot into the shoe with a shoe horn, and then just barely. Once my feet are in, the shoes feel fine, like my other Hokas.
