I made this purchase as a request from my husband who has grown tired of purchasing a new pair of shoes and having the soles get absolutely ran through within 30-45 days. He works in the trades and is on his feet all day running around. I had heard great things about HOKA, so I went ahead and placed this shoe order and surprised him. He said "don't even tell me how much these cost". LOL. So far, so good. Zero complaints from him - which if you knew my husband and how picky he is with footwear, would tell you a lot! Hoping they hold up more than the other brands and I can replace them in due time. High hopes!

My husband has a curvature of the spine but since he's been wearing the HOKA's his legs don't bother him as much and is back is some better so overall they are a success. Best investment ever. He hasn't used his "Good feet" orthotic since. Have already recommended these shoes to five others.

This shoe is great for wearing around town and long days on my feet but I ruined them with only 1 hour of hiking. These are not a hiking shoe unless you mean hiking on the sidewalk. Soles are slippery on dirt and not durable. 1 hour of hiking made soles more damaged than a year of hikes with my regular hiking shoes. Only had these a week and wish I never took them off the pavement because they are comfy and were a good looking shoe.

I love Hoka and would have easily given these a 5 star review, however, there's a major (but fixable) flaw with the lacing system. They kindly include regular laces if you don't want to use the propriety boa system already in the shoes. BUT, if you want to switch, you have to physically cut the boa laces and can never use them again. They do have boa lacing systems that allow you to undo them without cutting them and use them again, if it turns out you actually don't like the traditional lacing system. I was bummed about this and had to return.

Good drop heel/toe, comfortable cushioning, good stability. Came with elastic shoe strings that are nifty, but replaced them with regular shoe strings (included in box) and felt a lot more stable. I've been wearing Bondi, and these are every bit as comfortable, less bulky, and feel a little more solid!! Love it!!

I am not feeling the usual foot fatigue. That is good news. There were not normal laces included with the shoes as advertised.

Bought this for my husband as his daily shoe to wear to work, sized a full size up per the recommendation (he usually wears 11,5), and they fit great. Could have been a little more wide in the toe box. He likes the color and the level of support the shoe gives.

It feels too narrow that I wish I ordered the wide one. I don't feel the shoes is comfortable as I expected.

I am traveling in Europe for a month and am walking long distances. These shoes were purchased to make it a comfortable experience. So far it's been an exceptionally comfortable shoe. I got the Bondi 8 which are extra wide and soft for comfort. The width took some getting used to but didn't cause problems.

Not nearly as 'foamy' as the Bondi 7, or other popular models. But, the Transport does have a little more heel support that I've been looking for as a delivery driver. As first glance, the Transport is a lot closer to the street with a lower profile. But, it works pretty well in the delivery world. I'm a big fan of Hoka right now, but I'm still searching for a little more heel support. I would give the Transport a 'Medium' heel support rating.

I love the Transport! I am thrilled you brought back the toggle chord; it was the first pair of Hokas I owner, several years ago. O prefer them over laces. Also, i am switching from womens to mens, as I think a wide womens would be too wide. The men's shoe is just right, like Goldilocks. Mens shoes also gave better variety of colors (suggestion-offer the same colors for both m&w). I wanted 18,000+ steps on Thursday, 10k steps on Friday & Sunday. New Yorkers do love to walk. They are not as plush & cushy s the Bondi, but I have to say this has been the most comfortable Hoka's Ive bought, & i have bought about 7 or 8, over time.

I bought these for my boyfriend and at first he loved them. After wearing them one time, the seems starting falling apart. They were so loose, we could pull them out with ease. Very disappointing.

Love the shoe. BUT it will not serve as a slip-on because the tongue will always get jammed no matter how you adjust the cord. It's very frustrating. Do not buy if you require a slip-on

Cushion is good Shoe is too narrow and hurt my feet in contrast to my other Hokas. Wide toe box was one of the reasons I bought the shoe.

Not real sure how the new lacing system is supposed to work. Might be good to include some instruction. The toe box is more narrow than other HOKA's I have that are the same size.

I've tried the 3 color ways of the Transport shoe and for me having the contrasting white sole was the better look. While I can see the black on black being a choice for the travel world, the all gray seemed to old for my taste. If the black had a white sole it would have been a done deal. I settled on the All Gender model (having the gum accent color was a nice touch). Looking forward to seeing if the contrasting sole shows up in the future. These make great everyday shoes. I love the color of my other Hoka (trail, hiking, running shoes/boots) and like the more sedate options which the Transport brings. Shoes a great in comfort -the squeaking does go away after a slight break-in period. Bravo to the folks at Hoka.
