Starting back walking after a severe foot injury and was recommended to try these. Wow I am able to walk again. Thank you Hoka

Love the look, comfort provided by this shoe, replacing a 5.11 desert boot. Great off road, but a bit wild on smooth surfaces when damp. I.e. a garage floor after work or hike. I survived, but worry about a damp hike on rock. I will still wear them until they fall off, but knowledge is power.

I was looking for a non-gortex mid shoe for hiking and these definitely checked my blocks. They feel good, but I think a different lacing technique might make them feel better. Wide sizing would have definitely made them a 5-star shoe in my opinion. Overall I'm happy though.

These boots have a lot to offer in the way of solid construction and flexibility however Hoka continues to make shoes designed for people with wide feet. Their medium width is actually a wide. this complaint about Hoka continues as this boot reflects their Wide shoe construction. If you have normal to narrow feet this shoe and others will have extra room for your feet to move around during movement. The overall construction of Hokas do make up for their decision to make shoes that are too wide so I still recommend.

Using these boots for work was the best decision I've made in footwear. Very light and comfortable for these hot days.

Boots are comfortable all day. Except, the left boot inner metal lace clip digs into the leg above the ankle on both my pairs!!
I recommend, if you are lacing all the way to top, skip the second from the top!!

After switching from the Anacapa mid to the Anacapa Breeze mid, I thought they felt too narrow at the base at first but they have grown on me. These are lighter and more maneuverable but a little less stable. Still stable enough though and great for fast paced hikes in hot weather. As usual for Hokas, they don't last very long but they are good while they last.

Like all Hoka's they're very good but I'll try other styles before buying this one again.

These are a weird like dark grey blue and not black. So when wearing with black pants it's very noticeable. They are comfortable and breathable. But the color is off.

Good but not great, as a hiking boot. More like a sneaker.

Size larger than expected, light weight though. Toe material and structure seemed a little "light weight": I'm use to more protection than what this boot offers.
I'd also recommend:
Purchased Merrell Moab 3 Mid Waterproof simultaneously. Much more to my liking.

These boots are nice. Yet, not near as comfortable as the previous HOKA boots I bought a year ago. They are not near as cushioned which I really liked due to the pain in my knees. But, I am thank they fit right and I will wear them a lot!

Very comfortable shoe however, they squeak when I walk. I am a police officer, and I would prefer they not squeak..

I really wanted to like these hikers. I put about 20 miles on them.hoping they would work in but to no avail. I have a little bias as I have been hiking in wide toe box or natural foot shape hikers the past six years. I don't have wide feet, actually fairly normal size/shape feet, but after switching to wide toe box hiker it's a game changer. These Hoka hikers just have a little too much spearhead shape and find my toes confined. After the last 7 mile hike I did have enough discomfort inn the toe box area that I decided to return the hiker. There are several positives great cushion while still feeling stable and secure on the trail. Good traction. Breathable. If Hoka would make these in a natural foot shape I would definitely purchase.

The stability bar is way too tall, especially under the front part of the foot. And the toe box is a bit small. The result is that these are very uncomfortable. A slightly larger size might help a little but the excessive stability bar would still be a problem.

I looked for a replacement for the Stinson mid and was waiting for a new version of that shoe. This shoe does not offer the plush cushioning of the Stinson, but the responsiveness is very good. The toe box is a little narrow for my taste, but still comfortable. Overall, the shoe has the traditional Hoka comfort that I have grown accustomed to and much appreciate.

I like the idea of a ventilated open air flow pair of boots for summer. Wasn't super breathable. Kinda breathable but I wanted more. Good tread, good fit, moves well. Don't like the swallow tail. Light and flexible. I'd buy again.

I bought this as a law enforcement duty boot as the description indicates the shoe is all black! That is NOT the case. It has gray through the shoe which is a uniform violation of requirements for all black shoe.

First hike with these hiking boots started very well, it felt like I was walking on clouds. After about 5 miles I started to feel some hot spots that ended up as blisters. But after breaking them in, they feel great. Plenty of grip, and ankle support and protection.

Quite bulky for being too small. Not a fan of the style but was hoping the comfort would outweigh that issue. No chance yet as they were too small for me.
Im doing an exchange for the next size up. Ill re-review after wearing them for awhile.

Tried them at big box store,,,all day walking helping customers, bringing in carts from parking lot, we're not comfortable or cushy enough for all day. Maybe an hour or two, but not an 8 hr shift.
