I have had an excellent experience with HOKA shoes (I now have 7 pairs). This recent order provides exceptional comfort, especially for someone like me who spends long hours on my feet. To ensure the perfect fit, I opted for a half size larger, which allowed extra wiggle room for my forefoot. The cushioning and support are outstanding, making them ideal for both daily wear and upcoming hiking adventures this spring. However, one minor issue is the length of the provided laces, which are too short to fully lace the shoes. A longer pair of laces would enhance the overall fit and functionality. Despite this, HOKA remains my top choice for comfort, performance and even life style.

Had to send the size 12 back to get a 12 1/2 but these boots are amazing. The name "breeze" says it all! With a job that has me constantly moving, my feet stay dry and offer the perfect amount of breathability while still allowing your feet to stay warm.

The only fault is the condos are little shorts.

I use this boot for walking and hiking. I haven't been hiking yet, but expect it will perform well. My only complaints are the shoe laces aren't long enough and there is a pinch point in the right shoe at the ball of my foot. Only on the right side. Going to try some moleskin to see if that works it out.

First off the laces are to short... And the inside seem on right seems to ride a bit to far under side of foot... No offer in wide ..maybe that would have helped ?? Length is great. 9.5

These shoes are amazing. I purchased them to use on a residential job site. I am 260 lbs over 50 and I still cover a lot of ground while working. I work at a fast pace all day, my joints take a pounding with that weight. Yep I know they are not safety shoes but when you get home and all of your joints ache you make changes. These shoes give cushion on every step and actually rebound into your next step. My
muscles may ache after a long day but my joints (ankles, knees, feet) don't ache all night long.
Three weeks after wearing these shoes I put my old boots on to feel the difference. 30 minutes later I was already aching again. Well worth the purchase. I ordered another version 1/2 size bigger for a better fit and I will make these my everyday walking around shoe. I typically wear an 11 or 11.5 so I ordered 11.5 but they are not quite wide enough and my toe is 1/4" from the tip of the shoe. I just ordered a 12 and I don't mind as they are worth it. My wife is a nurse and loves Hoka shoes, I wouldn't have tried these if it wasn't for her telling me how awesome they perform.

Long time Salomon fan. Switched to hokas as an experiment. Out the gate the shoes are comparatively lighter. Are they more durable, I'm not sure yet. I'm a land surveyor so hiking is a daily activity usually with heavy gear and several miles.

The boots had the typical comfort that I enjoy in Hoka shoes, though they were a bit too narrow. Also, I was going to be wearing them off-trail in some rough terrain and I didn't think they would endure walking through sagebrush. Because of the narrow fit and the uncertain toughness of the material, I returned them.

Personally, I need a bit more stability through the ankle area; but I can't fault the hiker. It is otherwise super comfortable, breathable and I like the traction. My significant other and I do a lot of "off-road/trail" hiking, mainly grasslands, fields, and wooded areas, and these have held up very well - even in moderate rain conditions (no leakage or slippage in the areas we hike). I do wish there were half sizes in women's styles for my size -- or a broader variety of colors for both men & women.

Shoes cushion great. The only beef I have is that the laces aren't long enough to use all of the spots and be able to tie them.

For those of us with problem feet (Hallux Rigidis, mid-foot arthritis, etc), HOKA should create a hiking boot that meets all the following criteria:
Full heel-to-toe rocker sole
Waterproof
Mid-rise (to the ankle) for extra ankle support
Rugged, with a stiff forefoot
Comes in a variety of widths as well as lengths, especially wide (2E)
There doesn't seem to be a hiking boot on the market today that hits all these criteria. The Kaha-2 comes closest, but it doesn't come in Wide. If it did, I would buy a few pairs of them.

Like all Hoka shoes I've purchased they are immediately comfortable. As far as a hiking shoe I'm not certain how they will hold up on rough or rocky terrain. They don't feel like they have a very rugged construction and more like a medium weight hiking shoe. Because of what I've mentioned I'm concerned how they'll hold up under additional backpack weight and over long miles and hours day after day.

I bought them because I have Plantar Fasciitis. They do work for that, but they are pretty uncomfortable.

Nice lightweight boots that are a little pricey. The laces on these boots are nice but a little short. The boots themselves are lightweight but a little bulky around the angle. Overall pretty nice.

I'm in law enforcement and I'm on my feet all day. I've tried several different brands and styles. This by far is the most comfortable. I highly recommend them.

More of a high top then I expected. Comfortable and light. I would have liked the tongue to be longer out of top of laces. I'm wearing them for work. Feel pretty good for walking on concrete floors all day.

It seems the inner sole pad is a little hard and gapped from the i side of the shoe. It rubs my heel, making it a little uncomfortable. I am trying some heavier socks until it breaks in and softens up. Other than that, they fit great and are comfortable. I definitely notice a difference between these and my go to Columbia hiking shoes. Time will tell about the heel issue.

Boot has good supportive padding overall with enough to add ankle stability on rocky trails. Has very good ventilation during worm weather hikes. Needs a more robust/larger toe rand for tough terrain.
Appreciate the wider toe box for my wide forefeet.

Bought this for law enforcement work and love the comfort. The lacing is the most complicated on any shoe I've ever worn but once fastened they stay on a whole day.

Great? Look, fit, comfort, light weight, quality, excellent feel around heel and ankle. Less great? Might actually be too cushioned. So far I only wear these for flying, but suspect when I do more actual hiking they my not have enough forefoot stiffness. I get the sense I'd feel rocks. Not confirmed.

Have a squeak in the left boot, that I can't figure out how to stop. Took the insole out put it back in and that help for about two hours then the squeak was back when walking.

The only thing I don't like is that the breathable canvas or whatever they all it gets wet your feet get wet! I didn't realize that was the type material it was or I would have shopped for different material on the top and sides but they are very comfortable

I love the shoe it's very light weight. The quality is good except for the tread it doesn't last long. I'm a delivery driver I walk 8 to 12 miles a day. I love the shoe but I wish it came in a wider size and had better tread it's very slippery with any wet surface.
