First, the sizing calculator is off. Had to return two pairs before settling for size 8. It suggested I wear 9. So you may want to size down. After wearing them a few days, the glued-on lugs on the sole came off on the outer edge, so those went back, ordered another pair to replace those. Same exact issue happened but in a different spot. Sadly, I can't waste more time and money on inferior quality shoes. I was hoping for more out of this popular brand.

First off the size calculator on the website was wildly inaccurate. It suggested I order 9. I wear 8.5 in most shoes, but after sending them back in for 8.5, and then sending the 8.5 back in, I settled for 8. Finally I could wear them. After a week the rubber lugs on one shoe had detached. Back they went, got a replacement pair. The replacement pair lasted a week, just lie clockwork, the lugs came unglued. I really wanted these to work as they were pretty comfy. Sadly, I'm going to have to go back to my other trusted brands.

Good hiking boots very comfortable just not put together well only had them 5days and glue holding them together was coming off also not grate for bigger people feels like they won't last long and for the price needed something better

I work concerts and theater. For work I have to maintain a strict black dresscode. Bought these shoes to save my puppies at work, but because of their color I am not able to use them as intended. Great shoes but I would prefer better transparency on their actual colors. I am now out the money I was intending to use on work shoes.

My husband and I both really like our Hoka running shoes, so buying these boots seemed like a no-brainer. Boy, was I wrong! My husband's pair broke with less than 30 miles of hiking on them. The top hook for the laces on the right boot just broke off mid-hike. Of course, this happened just outside of the return period. Mine gave me a really weird blister between my big toe and my first toe, which I've never had happen with any pair of shoes, no matter how ill-fitting. Again, this happened outside the return period. So almost $400 completely wasted. I don't even want to donate mine, as I wouldn't want anyone else to have the same experience.

I wanted to love these but the footbed inside just didn't agree with my feet. Just standing in them was not pleasant so forget work or hiking. At this point the glue between the sole and tread is deteriorating. Owned less than 1 year, just disappointed really.

Bought a pair of these on March 27 2025 had to return them less than a month later because one of the eyelets pulled out. Shipped them back at a $30 cost to me. I received the shoes back May 16 not fixed or replaced. Wasn't covered under warranty. They said it was normal wear and tear. Never again will I purchase shoe from them and these are like my 5th pair. No way this is normal wear and tear

These were SO different from my previous HOKA high tops . They were stiff and hard to tighten over the top of the foot with out causing bruising. The laces and eyelets were awe full, making tightening very difficult.

I wear the boots as everyday boots and a little hiking. Got a pair for Christmas 2024. Eyelet has pulled out of one boot and shoe strings are already shredding apart. I'm 70 years old and I don't think my feet are still growing but my size 9 are too small

I've never purchased a more uncomfortable pair of hiker. Absolutely destroyed my feet the first few days. I currently have shoe stretchers in them trying to fix the pressure points. I really hope that helps me. On a positive note they look cool.

no widths. cheap construction and material. just business as usual. thanks for following the crowd of ripoff businesses in this trumpian age.

I purchased the Hoka Anacapa Breeze Mid boots a year ago, largely due to the rave reviews from my coworkers. Unfortunately, my experience has been a letdown. The boots have consistently caused me to walk on the sides of my feet, leading to debilitating back pain by the end of each workday. The discomfort is unbearable, and I'm at my wit's end. Regrettably, I'm considering discarding these boots altogether. For a premium product, I expected far better performance and comfort. Unless Hoka addresses these design flaws, I would caution others against purchasing the Anacapa Breeze Mid boots.

So I bought the Anacapa Breeze Mid Avocado. I've had them for a year and 2 months, only wearing them during turkey season (26 days). I went to put them on today, the top grommet of the shoe breaks internally. Given their past reputation for quality and customer service, I wanted to see if there were any options for repair or replacement. I was shocked to find out there was nothing that could be done. I take great care of my gear and was surprised this happened, especially considering the high standards associated with Hoka products. I'm extremely disappointed, and will seek into another company such as Danner or Irish Setter. The hiker was true to size and width, but if something breaks after less than 30 wears, I wouldn't waste money on something that doesn't hold up

I will keep these for general purpose wear but they are not a great hiking shoe/boot. The lacing system doesn't allow the support my feet need. Not as good a hiker as the old-style mid-ankle Speedgoats or even mid-ankle Kaha models.

I was trying on the shoes and one of the lace loops pooped off before I had the chance to wear them, so I had to send them back.

The shoes have been worn a handful of times and they are making a squeaking noise.

VIETNAMESE RUBBISH!!! CLEATS RIPPED OUT AS I LACED THEM UP RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Reached out to Hoka and they had no comment.

The first pair that I bought where the shoe string attached to the shoe ripped the very first time I lace them up, and now the pair I got to replace them the webbing that attaches the tongue of to the rest of the shoe is ripping out! Overall quality is terrible!

These shoes squeak so loud it is down right embarrassing to walk down a hall. Like the fit comfortable But Customer care is a looping joke . This was my 4 th purchased pair Will not be spending money on this brand again.

The eye that hold shoe strong in place broke after less than 10 wears.
