I found these shoes not comfortable for what I need. I was wanting something just for everyday. I have sesamoiditis and low/zero drop were recommended. They are low drop which I was looking for but basically no cushioning and I could feel every pebble through the sole. They do seem to be very good quality however!
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Ghost Max

I bought a 6.5 although I usually wear 6 to 6.5. These run small!!! I can feel the end of the shoe in the toes. Take at least half a size up!

Poorly made. Not comfortable and doesn't offer good foot support. I expect more from a Merrel.

Honestly really wanted to like this shoe but extremely unhappy with the fit I've never had an issue with my right or left shoe fitting different however these do. I have other barefoot shoes that fit amazing with NO zero issues. These squeeze my right foot in the wrong places. I've tried adjusting laces etc and nothing will help. I'm so upset because once you wear these there is no returning them. Where other companies allow a trial period these do not so I've wasted the money and I cannot walk in these.

Toe box too narrow. I used to love Merrell Trail Glove shoes, but the last two editions have been too narrow in the toe box. I was a dedicated Merrell user, but I have had to change brands.

Ordered the size 10: too long; toe box too roomy Exchanged for the size 9.5: too short. I’ve worn Merrell tennis shoes and sandals for years—always a 9.5. Something has changed.

I ordered these on the suggestion of my trainer as a good washing shoe. I did not like the lack of support. Returned.

These shoes like the Bare Access Arcs have continually gone down in comfort, fit and quality. I cannot say how disappointed I am in this company that used to be my favorite.

These cannot be marketed as barefoot shoes with a toe box this narrow. I don't have especially wide feet and there isn't nearly enough room for toe movement. I can just about walk my dog in them but would never be able to run or work out comfortably. While they are nice looking, they feel very cheap. We've been making fabric out of recycled plastics since the early 90s so after 30 years of R&D there's no excuse for brittle, scratchy, crunchy executions. Bring back the flex knit!
