Really enjoying the minimalist feel of the trail glove. Not as wide in the toe box as I was expecting, but still an improvement over regular shoes. Comfortable for everyday use and the gym, but I'm sure they'd be great on the trail as well!

Lovely. The original trail gloves 10 years ago were my first barefoot shoe. I took time off running, bought these (and was a little scared because they looked so different), but as soon as I put then on, my feet felt at home again. Comfy with a wide toe box. Running feels natural. Im usually a size 8, I bought size 8 and they were perfect. Didnt run small for me!

Overall, Im very happy with this edition of the Trail Glove! I previously left a pretty scathing review for the Trail Glove 6, and Im so happy with the improvements for the 7. The barefoot feel is back with a grippy tread, and the upper leaves room for toe splay. The tread coming up over the big toe took a little breaking in, but after a few runs, it felt fine and is kind of nice to have that toe protection on trail. The TG 7 is my go-to shoe now after stock piling the Trail Glove 4 model for a few years. Yay! Great job. Love the color as well.

I bought the shoe to use as an indoor trainer and to test out as a minimal shoe. As expected, there is no cushion, and the upside with that is you feel the ground and can connect with absorbing jumps through your legs. The sole is TRACTION, super sticky. It gets a 4 as the toe box is shallow. The sizing runs small.

Nice barefoot shoe. Laces come undone easily. You have to double knot. They are nicely water resistant.

These are the best fitting trail runners Ive owned. Theyve renewed my love of the shoe, tbh. The toe box is wide enough and it fits nicely without being snug. I liked these so much I bought another pair.

Walking the lighthouse paths near Digby to the trails on Cape Breton, the trail glove was exactly the right shoe. Im looking forward to the next paths wherever they lead.

I just finished a 7 day bike ride down the Mosel river in Germany. I wore these shoes exclusively for riding, walking and hiking up unpaved paths in the worlds steepest vineyards. Great shoe. No problems, feet felt great. 8.5 M True to size. Oh yes, my sister is 68 and I am 71. We did the trip alone and my feet were happy.

Very comfortable. I wear size 7 in Merell but according to recommendations to size down a size, I decided to size down to 6 1/2. I wish I ordered it in 7 because I think the fit will be better. Anyway, its sill comfortable with thin socks with the downsize.

I very much like the shoes but am disappointed in the lack of colour options compared to the US site.

I am very disappointed in the trail glove 7! Its not nearly as comfortable as the trail glove 4 - which was the most comfortable and usable trail/ walking shoe ever!! Please bring the trail glove 4 back!! Please!

The outsole portion covering the big toe is stiff and made the shoes uncomfortable during my first few wears. Took a few weeks of wearing them to break them in. Otherwise, a good shoe for working outdoors.

This is a great shoe. Seriously. Feels like Im not wearing shoes at all. It has changed my walking life totally!

Every update of this shoe keeps getting further away from the original. Narrower and narrower, and now this latest version, 7, is no longer zero drop - not even close. What's the purpose of continuing to make this shoe? The name should be changed to something else. The first version was the best, the updates through 3 were "OK". It became something completely different after that. I'll continue to buy Altra's and other brands that make a true wide-toe box zero-drop running shoe as long as Merrell continues to ruin their best shoes.

I bought this to replace my TG 4 which I'v gone through 3 pairs. Its not a perfect substitute for the 4's but its better then the 5 or 6 were. I along with others hope to see the trail glove 4 being made and offered again. The 7 seems to be a bit wider so I'm using a thin insert to make it snugger.

These came in the mail today they fit well, but Im disappointed with the color. The pictures on the website make the shoes look really white. They look more beige kinda dirty looking from the get go.

We hike a lot and the glove 7 is by far the MOST COMFORTABLE shoe Ive ever worn. Durable and attractive. I absolutely LOVE them.

Ive owned every trail glove model since they started. The TG 6 was a massive disappointment but I am glad merrell listened and went back to the basics, though not completely. They are a bit less barefoot than TG 1-4 but they are pretty close. (If you want truly barefoot, go for the vapor glove.) I am happy to no longer need to search eBay for old TGs

I wanted a shoe that helped me feel the ground. Im getting older but still want to hike more than simple trails. I had an older version but they were a little stiff. This version is more flexible and gives me the feeling of barefoot balance with the comfort of a shoe. I wear them all the time!

The Trail Glove 7 is my new favorite shoe! Ive been a fan of the Trail Glove 6 for a while, but these 7s take it up a notch for me. They are a little wider than the 6s and are much more comfortable over my instep (I have a high instep). I wore them walking all over NYC recently and my feet never hurt. Love these shoes!

I really, really like these shoes. I keep trying different brands but always end up coming back to Merrells. I dont like too much padding in my running shoes but also dont enjoy feeling every little rock on the path; The rubber bottom on this style is the perfect compromise - it is grippy and durable without adding a lot of weight. These are great for trails, paths and also indoor gym floors (I wear mine for pickleball & have loved the rubber covered toe - it doesnt wear through like all my other shoes have done). All in all Im very pleased with the fit, style, functionality and durability of these Merrells.

Good quality and beautiful design but way too narrow. My feet cant really splay like other barefoot shoes. I had to return them unfortunately
