This is a great shoe. Seriously. Feels like I'm not wearing shoes at all. It has changed my walking life totally!

This was my intro into "barefoot" shoes and after a couple of weeks to adapt, I love them so much! They look super narrow but the toe base is very roomy when walking. My toes always break through the outsides of regular running shoes and I have no trouble with these. Love them so much!!

For me, the size is true to size and comfortable. My knees often hurt after walking a couple miles, but wearing the trail glove 7s, the pain has been minimal. Very exciting.

We hike a lot and the glove 7 is by far the MOST COMFORTABLE shoe I've ever worn. Durable and attractive. I absolutely LOVE them.

I bought them for biking, so I could feel the pedals under foot and air would flow through them. They are a success.

I have owned many pairs of Trail Glove shoes and loved them. Many I still wear. My love stopped with Trail Glove 6 as they were constructed in a new way that was too narrow and made it almost impossible to put them on. Eventually I surgically removed some of the elastic holds which helped a tiny bit. I resolved to never buy another pair of TrailGloves. I did however keep looking for when a Version 7 would appear and when it did some positive reviews persuaded me to try again. I did and I was ecstatic that the fit is now more similar to Trail Glove 5. They are easy to put on, the fit is good for me and they look good.

I choose barefoot-style shoes and run exclusively off-road-- along grassy and dirt- packed canal embankments, trails, park spaces, and so forth. This is at least my fourth pair-- comfortable out of the box, lightweight, grippy-soled, and most important-- vegan friendly! I love the new color choices-- jade for me this time. Pretty perfect trail/barefoot-style vegan shoe.

These are definitely more comfortable than the TG 6. The arch support is much less noticeable and is just right for me. I am also happy to have a slightly higher stack and just a bit more cushioning because I can now wear my trail gloves for neighborhood walks and not just on the trail. I usually wear a 10, but in both the 6 and 7 I am wearing a 9 1/2. I did find that there is a bit more length to the 7, but, again, that is better for me. I do have a narrower foot but I can pull on the laces enough to get a good comfortable fit with no heel lift. All the changes to the Trail Glove are spot on. All in all this is a great shoe for me!

Comfortable foot bed. Wearing barefoot I sized down half size for a perfect fit. Would prefer to have slip on with laces that you don't have to tie.

The Trail Glove 7 is my new favorite shoe! I've been a fan of the Trail Glove 6 for a while, but these 7's take it up a notch for me. They are a little wider than the 6's and are much more comfortable over my instep (I have a high instep). I wore them walking all over NYC recently and my feet never hurt. Love these shoes!

I wanted a shoe that helped me feel the ground. I'm getting older but still want to hike more than simple trails. I had an older version but they were a little stiff. This version is more flexible and gives me the feeling of barefoot balance with the comfort of a shoe. I wear them all the time!

Oh my gosh. I am so in love with these shoes that I want to buy multiple pairs in case they ever stop making them. Hooked! They're cute and they hug my foot just right. Like a foot glove. Oddly, the arch support doesn't FEEL like it would be great but I have terrible feet and they're comfortable to walk in all day long. I don't even want to take them off inside. I want to marry these shoes.

I really, really like these shoes. I keep trying different brands but always end up coming back to Merrells. I don't like too much padding in my running shoes but also don't enjoy feeling every little rock on the path; The rubber bottom on this style is the perfect compromise - it is grippy and durable without adding a lot of weight. These are great for trails, paths and also indoor gym floors (I wear mine for pickleball & have loved the rubber covered toe - it doesn't wear through like all my other shoes have done). All in all I'm very pleased with the fit, style, functionality and durability of these Merrells.

I bought the black/gum as there was no black/black. I just didn't like the brown gum toe guard on the top, it just looked too bizarre. And I found absolutely NO arch support, so I'm baffled by all the reviews that tout arch support. I wanted a less chunky shoe to wear from Merrell but as I said, the color was just too weird. I will look for a version in total black. I don't intend to wear it running so I can't comment on that.

I love the idea of these shoes: lightweight, rugged soles, low profile. But they are far too narrow. Sadly, I will be returning them.

Was pleasantly surprised how much I like these! Bought these as my new barefoot running shoes. Previously, I'd been running in the Trail Glove 4s. I avoided buying the 5s and 6s because of the poor reviews, but it came to the point where I could no longer run in the 4s (wore right through the bottoms) so I figured I'd take a chance with the 7s. They've worked great so far! The toe area took some getting used too--the rubber from the bottom kind of wraps around to the top of the big toe, which felt weird at first. The toe box is also somewhat narrow for barefoot shoes (the 4s are still superior in that regard), but it doesn't feel cramped. Overall, they are comfortable and fit well! The one thing the 7s have over the 4s is that the laces seem a bit sturdier and there is some extra cushion around the Achilles.

My daughter is on her third pair of Glove 7s in four months. This is a solid shoe choice with excellent construction, flexibility, comfort and grip. The unknown is durability for everyday use, as my child is a competitive amateur log roller and this is her shoe of choice for training and competition. In fact, many of the World Class athletes in this unique and growing sport choose Merrell Gloves. The shoe serves its purpose well, though the tread wears out fast in high contact areas; in our case, the tread under the big toe on each foot has worn smooth after only weeks of wear.

Very comfortable hiking sneakers. Low cut and good support. I am not a sneaker person but were traveling thru some of the US National Parks and knew I needed a good shoe. These were great. Fit the bill perfectly. It was a little troublesome to find except directly from Merrell, but with rush order they arrived in time and I had a day or two to break in.

I've been running in Merrells for most of the past decade, back to the pace glove, and have always loved them but I'm so disappointed in this redesign. As others have noted, they run a bit large and are stiffer than the trail glove 6. I would size down but the new toe cap is so large and stiff I can tell it would rub against my big toe. It already kind of does because the shoe is too large and my foot slides against it. Really miss how flexible and glove-like the last version was. I've been hoping they'd get better as I break them in, but it's been two months and I find I'd rather wear my old, worn 6's than these. Please bring back the old design!

I wore these shoes during a 7 mile race that I walked with my children. They were great for the dirt trails we used for race training, as well as my solo running on our paved bike trails.
