I wore these out of the box for all three days we were in Chattanooga with our school age boys. We walked everywhere possible, then drove and walked some more: the Aquarium, pedestrian bridge and shops, on the river cruise, Ruby Falls, the Incline RR, Rock City, and everything in between. No tired feet. Excellent shoes! I bought my sons each a pair, too.

These are the best fitting trail runners I've owned. They've renewed my love of the shoe, tbh. The toe box is wide enough and it fits nicely without being snug. I liked these so much I bought another pair.

Walking the lighthouse paths near Digby to the trails on Cape Breton, the trail glove was exactly the right shoe. I'm looking forward to the next paths wherever they lead.

I started teaching this year and quickly discovered that all that time on my feet was hard on them. I already loved my trail glove 5 Merrells, but wanted a little more support and a color combo that looked a little more professional. My new trail gloves have been amazing and I wear them almost every day.

Buy half a size bigger otherwise they will pinch your toes. I bought the tan color. They are comfortable and beautiful.

I honestly was skeptical when I first bought these, but have done several hikes in them now, with a lot of rock climbing and I love them! Very comfortable and lightweight. I will for sure buy again!

My 6th pair of this style. Love them every time. A different lace would be better in order to tighten them but over all great shoes.

I am so pleased with my purchase! I love barefoot trail shoes and have gone through a couple of pairs of Merrill trail shoes already. I had been searching for a shoe for work with the same comfort features and tried a number of other brands but they didn't work out. These Trail Glove 7's are perfect! These shoes look great with my dress pants and without looking too tennis shoe-y. My only suggestion would be to make the logo on the side black. I am going to buy another pair of these great shoes for actual trail running. Saving these for work only.
I'd also recommend:
Birkenstock, Altra

I have been loving these shoes for general household shoes, therapy shoes and shopping shoes but especially trail shoes. They were very comfortable from the get go. They don't make the back of my heels sore like many sneakers do. So as I do when I find a good pair of shoes, I bought 4 pairs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable pair of sneakers with good support.

I just finished a 7 day bike ride down the Mosel river in Germany. I wore these shoes exclusively for riding, walking and hiking up unpaved paths in the world's steepest vineyards. Great shoe. No problems, feet felt great. 8.5 M True to size. Oh yes, my sister is 68 and I am 71. We did the trip alone and my feet were happy.

It's not supposed to have arch support. It is a barefoot shoe. My foot which is almost always a 9.5 in shoes and boots is a 10 in this shoe. I wear thin socks with these shoes.

I got this in May, and it is all I wear now. I live in Vermont. I wish they made a barefoot snow boot!

I have historically purchased Merrell's (Moab Gore-Tex and Siren) because of their quality and comfort. I purchased the Trail Glove's after listening to a video by the English walking guru Joanna Hall in which she suggested the Merrell Trail Glove because of the wide toe box, heel support and flexible sole. I love them!

I do Crossfit, and when doing many of my workouts I would have to kick my shoes off because of cramping in my arches. I had even resorted to running 1 mile in flipflops because of the cramping in my arches. It was recommended that I get myself a pair of these for those workouts- and what a game changer! My shoes stay on fornthe entire workout now! My feet have the room to spread and the arch has some support. I really love them! And they made me run so fast! -that actually is true; because i didnt have to compensate for the cramped foot.

Light weight. Comfortable. A sturdy enough sole to protect my feet. Better than earlier iterations of this shoe.

Very comfortable. I wear size 7 in Merell but according to recommendations to size down a size, I decided to size down to 6 1/2. I wish I ordered it in 7 because I think the fit will be better. Anyway, it's sill comfortable with thin socks with the downsize.

These are fantastic shoes. Plenty of room for toes to spread, flexible so your foot activates, yet cushioned enough to protect your foot. I use them for dog walking, and hiking.

I have owned 3 pairs of these shoes and this by far has been my favourite. The vibram sole is a bit gurthier than previous versions with a great toe and heel kick, without sacrificing the barefoot maneuverability. I use these for trail running, but most recently I have started using them for summer hiking/backpacking and they did not disappoint.

Perfect for mer - barefoot shoe for narrower feet. The toe box could have been a bit wider but these work great. More protection on sole as I hike very rocky trails. Very happy with these.

I have an older pair of barefoot Merrells I have worn for years. I hesitated to buy these from some of the reviews, because I didn't know if I would like them as much but I LOVE them!

I love them. I have a bunion and they have a wide footbed - provide enough protection but still have that minimal feel. I regularly hike mountain trails with my dogs and they are perfect.
