The Merrell Encore Breeze 5 seemed to run narrower than my old ones and were not as comfortable. I ordered two sizes, my regular size and one a half size smaller. My regular size fit the best. I returned them both because for the price they were not worth it. The area on the top of the foot was larger than my old ones and were harder to get on and off. They just were not as comfortable as my old ones are.

This Merrell Breeze 5 seemed to fit as expected in the length, but it felt a little narrower than my old ones. I ordered my regular size and also one a half size smaller. My regular size fit the best. The material on the top of the foot area was larger than my old ones so they were not as easy to put on. The cushioning sort of felt like it was less too, but it may have been because they were new and not broken in so to speak. I returned them because they were expensive and did not suit me in the fit.

My loyal old Jungle Moc Breezes r wearing out. It’s the only shoe besides sandals that r comfortable to wear barefoot. I’ve tried other Breezes in the past but they had lost their charm. Finally the Breeze 5 is good (I returned a Breeze 3)! I’ve ordered two in black. I’m 6.5 to 7 and this breeze fits me barefooted at 6.5. Comfortable, comfortable, and attractive slip on. Good support but of course not a hiking shoe. I prefer to wear barefoot shoes with capris or skirts/dresses than w long pants.

I have to say that the longer toe box design in the Breeze 5 suits me perfectly. I have replaced all my previous "short" models with these (my summer shoes). I have found that the arch support factor in Merrells (Jungle Moc too) is not what it used to be, but what is! Merrells are still my go to shoes, for every season.

They do not fit as well as the Breeze 3 or Breeze 4 (which I wear constantly). My heels came out of the shoes when I walked in them.

I have worn the same style size of these shoes for YEARS=3 pair. These were much longer!! Am re-ordering a half size smaller
