I read the reviews that said how much the quality of these slippers had gone way downhill I thought it was people who had been particularly tough on things. I bought them anyway and everything they said was true. Slippers that used to last me about ten years are now shot after about a year. The stitching rots out and the lovely fluffy lining balls up and makes it very uncomfortable. After buying about five pairs through the years this will be my last pair.

I purchased these slippers and in less than a year the stitching was frayed and breaking. Previous pairs of LLBean slippers had leather stitching, whereas these now have a cotton or nylon thread that can clearly not hold up to wear. I brought them to the LLBean flagship store and was told that because of "excessive wear and tear" they would not honor the 1 year warranty on the product. To be clear, I owned these for 10 months when they began coming apart, and wore them as slippers, not as shoes. The "excessive wear and tear" clause feels like a way to skirt returns on subpar products. For the price, these slippers should hold up for many years. I fixed them myself by restitching with leather thread and they've held up fine since. The issue was with the quality of materials, not their wear. Very disappointed. I was a longterm, loyal customer to LLBean for many years, but not any longer. Do better.

These were my favorite slippers for many years. I purchased a pair for my daughter and a pair for myself for Christmas, they have now made the shearling so thin that it wore away in 6 months and I am now walking on the outer leather. They used to be nice and thick and would custom conform to your foot nice and snug but now the lining is so short it flattens out within a couple of months and then the slippers are to big and no longer comfortable going to have to toss them and will no longer be buying these. I will go with ugg instead

The seam on the heal already came apart. I am shocked over this. I have always bought slippers from here, but this is a first.

The sizing has dramatically changed since I last purchased these. I previously ordered a size 9 which fit perfectly, and on my most recent pair the same size did not even fit my foot. Had to return these.

LLBean quality has changed. The threading is not durable and when it breaks, LLBean refuses to return or exchange. The company previously was very accommodating and stood by the quality of their products. But as with so many others, quality is now poor and when the product fails, they only option is to purchase another expensive pair. I am completely done with LLBean. In addition to poor product quality, everyone I've been on the phone with is extremely rude and disagreeable. The company is not concerned with customer service or relationships and is 100% all about greed - not surprising.

These came unstitched in less than a year. Not the same quality they used to be.

The right one turns under as you walk so the seam ends up under your foot. I've talked to two other people this has happened to. I returned them.

I had a pair of these for years and were great
After 3 weeks they are falling apart and very uncomfortable. For $90.00 these are the worst slipper I have ever had
Please do something about this

I bought these for my wife for Mother's Day. After 5 months of normal indoor use, the stitching was torn. These are not worth the money. Not recommended.

I received these for my birthday. The first issue was that the opening for the right foot was a slightly different size than the left. It wasn't too bad, so I kept them. After wearing them in the evenings for about 2 months, the shearling on the inside had packed down and worn out to bare leather. Now they are completely unwearable and I will be returning to them and buying from another store. I've had shearling slippers before from other stores and the shearling lasted at least a year. I was sad that the wicked good slippers did not live up to their name.

Falling apart. Barely worn as I have many different pairs of wicked good slippers. Bought in Nov 2020, they cannot be returned.
The sole is wearing off at the top and I have only worn them inside during the winter. And even worse, the upper suede is pulling out of the seam where it meets the sole.

These could be nice slippers, but there is an uncomfortable scratchy tag in the middle of the foot and they don't seem to be sized properly. I ordered a size 9 and one was a tight fit and the other I simply could not even get my foot into it. Sent them back. LL Bean needs to have a serious talk with the manufacturer.

The seam at the back of one started to split within a week of purchase (size is just right) and the fluffy inner lining has started to shed. Not sure if I got a defective pair but disappointed the brand standard isnt what I'm used to and expected - my previous pair lasted years without none of these issues

I've purchased two pairs of these. The first ones the stitching was out in two weeks and the second pair are two different colors and the foam soles are uneven so very awkward to walk in. So disappointed.

I received these as a holiday gift in December 2020. I live in a warm climate so wore them for maybe 6 weeks before putting them away for this year. At the time I noticed that the sheepskin on one side of the right slipper was much, much thinner than the rest and that the stitching was a bit loose on that slipper, but didn't think much of it. Took the slippers back out this winter, and after maybe two weeks of wear--indoor only, we have no pets, these slippers have been babied--the sole has come completely separated from the upper on one side of the slipper. They're unwearable after maybe two months of actual use, and I can't return them because they were purchased 14 months ago. These were a complete waste of money; for the price I could have bought several pairs of slippers that each would have lasted longer than this pair. I'm really disappointed in LLBean. These slippers were substandard in every way.

I do not know what is going on with LLBEAN but these slippers were DEFECTIVE. The top of the left Slipper was stretched out and Wide and the Right slipper has a Crooked Foot bed and very uncomfortably. I have been a LLBEAN shopper for many years. I am in my 80's and have had to return both slippers and shoes due to defective items for the last 2 years. I wanted to buy a different pair of slippers and use the Bean Bucks that I used on these slippers; but I am not allowed too so I will not buy a different pair. It was LLBEANS fault that I have to return them. That is a lousy policy. I have purchased these same slippers for years and they were always perfect.

I have been purchasing or been gifted these slippers since I was a teenager. This Christmas I decided to get a new pair because they are truly my favorite slippers. I purchased on 12-24-21 they arrived on 12-30-21. Last night while putting the on the back piece of material completely ripped next to the seam.
I contacted customer service this morning 1-16-22, their response was I would have to send them back for evaluation!
January in Michigan, be without my slippers? No thanks you!
What ever happened to companies that stand behind their product? Lesson learned; business lost.

I've been buying these slippers for many years and have loved them until recently. On the last pair I had, the bottom seam came loose at the left heel. With the previous pair, the seam at the center of the opening came loose. Now with the current pair, the back is much stiffer so they are uncomfortable when sitting and they do seem to be narrower in the toe. As mentioned by others, the tag in the arch seems particularly annoying. Why place this here? I did remove the tags from both left and right. They came out with a little effort (with a small swiss army knife) and then I noticed the "Made in Myanmar" text. Really? Not a good move by LLBean. I will be looking elsewhere for slippers as I am not interested in the other styles offered by LLBean -- and am now wary of the quality.

Very disappointing. Slippers were both stamped same size, but one was visibly inches longer than the other, and MUCH smaller! and one toe was off at a 40% angle. yikes!

LL Bean really needs to offer its slippers in half sizes. After a week of matting down the interior, the women's size 7M was barely ok with only bare feet (my big toes do touch the end of the slippers but it's not uncomfortably snug) BUT they're uncomfortably tight with even light socks! Size 8M is MUCH TOO LARGE even if wearing very heavy socks! I had been getting this same slipper for more than 30 years in size 7M and they always fit great! However, during the last several years, either the sizing changed or the quality of the slipper changed or perhaps both. I'm really disappointed with the slipper and it's poor fit at this point. I would rate it a zero if I could! It's certainly not up to the LL Bean standards I've been accustomed to for 40 years!

The quality is poor compared to ones I've had in the past. The shearling was very, very thin. The return process, however, was very easy and smooth.

I love these slippers ,but this is the second pair that were cut incorrectly. My foot did not lie flat. I have bought all sorts of slippers and shoes and never had this problem. I returned them.

Much too loose and no support. I wanted to like these, but really needed more support. I could imagine them sagging to one side very quickly.
