I bought these slippers for everyone in my family several years ago. They were fantastic! I wore mine out and decided it was time for a new pair. When they arrived, they were too small and I couldn't tell which slipper was right or left. When I held the new slipper up against my old slipper, the sole of the new slipper was 3/4 of an inch shorter. What happened to the quality LL Bean is famous for? I'm a solid, loyal fan of LL Bean, but this time I was really let down.

The tags are right on the arch of the foot and were really irritating on the skin. Returned

The quality of these slippers is terrible. The center seam is not in the middle, and they are not square on their last. To say I'm disappointed in LLBean quality is an understatement.

I have been a big fan of the wicked warm slippers for so many years. Bought them over & over again for myself and family. That is up until the last few yrs when I have had to return 3 pair since one of the in-sole of each pair was in crooked so that my right foot slipped outward & I was no longer walking on the sole. This is very irritating & begs for a twisted ankle if moving fast which I can ill afford at my age now. I am sad that LL Bean is settling for inferior quality review on these otherwise comfy & warm slippers. But alas, I am moving on to another brand of slipper.

I've called, opened a chat, sent an email, and have gotten no word from L.L.Bean about my package. It said they had successfully delivered it but it wasn't at my door or in my mailbox. Unless someone actually gets back to me about this issue, I'll never be buying a single thing from this sham site again, and will be deterring as many people as possible from supporting them. This is ridiculously unprofessional behavior from them.

Quality has dropped precipitously at L.L. Bean, I guess. My wife's older pair of these lasted for years... Not so much this time. We'll be bringing them back.

I bought these slippers over ten years ago and the difference between the quality then and now is sad. These feel like a piece of cardboard is on the bottom of them with a thin piece of suede over top, nothing like the old ones. The quality of LLbean is certainly declining. I will never purchase items from there again.

Several family members (Mom, Dad & myself) had older style Buffalo Plaid LL Bean slippers that lasted SO many years. They just got tattered looking. So a couple of years ago splurged and bought a new pair.
They are nothing like older slippers. Quality is terrible. Stitching wore in toes and heels in less than a years time. I had to sew with wool yarn. Be aware, if you think these slippers will last (like your old ones) be warned they will not. A lot of money to spend on something with such poor quality. LL Bean used to be synonymous with unbeatable quality--sadly that is NOT the case where their slippers are concerned.

Just not the same as they used to be: little to no cushioning and couldn't tell left from right.

I HAVE BEEN BUYING THESE SLIPPERS FOR MANY YEARS. I AM 84 YEARS OLD AND THESE ARE POORLY MADE AND I WILL NEVER BUY SLIPPERS FROM YOU PEOPLE AGAIN. ALSO, I HAVE TKEN A SIZE 6 FOR MANY YEARS AND THESE SIZE 6 ARE TOO SHORT AND TIGHT. I RECENTLY PURCHASED THE SAME STYE FOR MYIHUSBAND AND HIS WERE GREAT AS THEY ALWAYS HAVE BEEN.

I'm very disappointed in the quality of these slippers. I have a different pair of slippers from them, which was a little big, so I figured I should size down from my usual size 8. Size 7 was too tight, so I exchanged them with size 8. They both said they were an 8; however, one was loose and the other side was very snug. So I had them exchanged with another pair of size 8. This time the size were the same, but the quality of stitching was terrible and the size of the triangular patch at the top were completely different. I could feel someone else's toe prints inside the slippers. I don't really feel like wasting more time waiting for another pair, but I'm considering to just return them completely. Considering the price, I'm very disappointed in their quality.

I have bought these slippers twice. Within 6 months of purchasing the first pair, the stitching on the bottom frayed and I had a hole. I loved these so much, however, that I decided to buy another pair and try again. Shame on me because the same thing happened. While these are incredibly warm and comfortable, they do not hold up considering the price.

I use to buy the boot slipper but this is not the original style that they carried. The fit is too short and too narrow. Did not like them and had to return them. I would not recommend them again.

I loved these when I got them late 2018. I wear them only when it's cold, so at most 6 months a year. The stitching attaching the sole is coming out. For the price, I am so disappointed.

I have been purchasing these slippers for more than twenty years and have always loved them. The quality, comfort, and coziness have always been outstanding and well worth the purchase cost. Sadly, that is no longer the case. In the past, the materials and workmanship would allow me to go several years before needing to replace them. The sherpa lining is nowhere near as substantial as previously; the soles are no longer leather but are now the same material as the top of the slipper and are stitched to the top with an inferior thread which breaks after several months; finally, the workmanship has declined significantly with uneven stitching and and mismatched alignment of the material on the upper part.

This is second purchase of the Wicked Good Slippers in size 6. The second pair is not the same quality as first pair. The suede is really stiff, there is no flexibility in the suede material. The color is off also, it is more of a tan than the previous pretty orangish brown. I had to return these because of poor quality in material, workmanship, fit and color. I will not be buying these slippers again. The first pair lasted over15 years.

My husband has had the men's version for years and I was always stealing them so I decided to get a pair (his were too big for me anyway). The women's are much narrower, especially in the heel, than the men's. I found them painful to wear even for a few minutes. I have somewhat wide feet, but not really that wide--heel width has never been an issue in any shoe. I returned the 9 women's and ordered a size 7 men's. If you want comfort, I recommend ordering the men's slipper 2 sizes down. They just arrived and they are sooooo much more comfy! If you have narrow heels the women's may be fine. To me, the women's slipper felt not only narrow, but kind of weirdly crooked, like my foot was falling off the base. Go for the men's if you can find a small enough size. I normally wear a solid size 8.5 shoe and the women's 9 fit length-wise (but too narrow); the men's 7 fit perfectly. They are snuggly and hug my feet but in a comfy way.

The most comfortable slippers I've ever warn..never wanted to take them off! Wore only indoors. Inner and outer fabric and footbed/soles have remained in great shape. However the stitching around the shoe that holds it together is an utter fail. Both shoes have ripped open. I am so disappointed. I bought these upon the recommendation of comfort and quality, a friend having had hers for years. As well as positive reviews here. However, mine are unwearable after less than a year. So disappointing for the cost and investment in what I thought was a high quality brand. I took them into a store location but was told I was out of luck. Please help LLBean. Seriously disappointed.

I returned the slippers because one was about 2 sizes smaller than the other (even though they both showed size 9 on the bottom).

Have had many pairs over the years, last couple years the quality is getting worse. They keep getting thinner. Now not worth the price.

The foot bed for my feet was not wide enough. My feet kept falling off. I'm 72 and cannot deal with that. But they are very warm.

Very dIfficult to put on, even with no socks. And then it presses my arch down toward the floor.

I ordered these again, but the new design is much narrower than in years past. I have ordered the same item for probably 6 years or more. These are considerably narrower than in years past. I need to return them, as they simply will not work! What a shame.

Slippers are good and comfy at first, but the shearling got matted pretty quickly, and then the stitching came undone. Not the longevity I had expected from $100 slippers.
