I used to LOVE LLBean Wicked Good Slippers! What did you do?? Put the fleece back that you took out! My daughter spent $50.00 for these as a gift for me in December. It is only March and they are completely matted down at the heel with no fleece left!! They feel huge because the fleece is so thin. Very disapointed because now I am at a loss for a good pair of slippers. Please return to the "old recipe" and make a Wicked Good pair of slippers again.

i got these for my wife. when she opened them up they smelled like a skunk. we tried spraying them with lysol but made problem worse. ll bean rep said it was shearling with lanolin. she suggested dryer sheets in each one and air out a few days. so far it is working out ok. just disappointed that this happened.

I'd dreamed of these slippers for years. After wearing the department store fleece booties for years, I thought these would be warmer, more comfortable, and breathable. They are. But they also feel unstable due to the lack of a firm sole. The suede soles got disgustingly dirty in just a day (my floors didn't even look or feel dirty), and these slippers can't be tossed in the wash. Worse, they don't come in half sizes. The 5s were too short, the 6s too big. Both would have been returned but just as soon as I tried to 6, the sole got dirty. I'm now wearing the slippers with socks. They're okay, I just wouldn't buy them again, especially not for the price.

I've been purchasing these every couple of years, because they were so perfect for our cold Michigan winters, and they were made to be worn for 2 or 3 years! I had no idea they changed the slippers. The style is different and quite frankly, I don't like them. Rather than return them, I gave them to my daughter. That will be my last slipper purchase from LL Bean.

I have purchased these slippers for the past 4 years. This time they are a different design (which I don't mind) but they also fit differently. It is a struggle to get my feet in to them. The opening is obviously smaller.

I've been buying my slippers from LLBean for years, and when my recent pair wore out I ordered these as replacements. The quality is not nearly as good as they used to be. They're very lightweight and the soles aren't good for wearing outside the house. I'll be returning them immediately and looking elsewhere for replacements.

I owned a pair of these slippers in their prior style and I wore them until they fell apart -- I loved them! I ordered a replacement pair, only to find the style had been changed for the worse. They're not nearly as warm, and most importantly they don't fit as well anymore. The bottom fits snugly, but the sides and top are too roomy, causing my socks to slide down. The upper design is such that the slippers don't feel snug around my foot. I would never buy another pair of these slippers unless L.L. Bean changes the design back. Bring back the old style!!!!

I purchased the slippers for Christmas for my daughter. She is very unhappy with them. They Do Not have the nice padding and Warmth that they have had. The slippers have been updated from previous years and are not the Quality that we are familiar with. I have slippers that I purchased last year for myself and purchased for my daughter a few years ago which were much better quality. I am going to LLBean tomorrow to return the slippers I purchased this year for Christmas for my daughter. I'm very dissapointed with the quality.

Bought these before and they were wonderful, but early 2009, u changed the design...would not purchase now. Not cut well, ill fitting, too tight at the instep, no longer high enough up the ankle..... looks too unisex now.
Too Bad..>!!

Purchased 3 pair in Dec. Great. Ordered another pair in Feb, only to find they have been redesigned. New design does not come up around the ankle as far, does not have the roominess in the toe area, does not have the extra box leather piece stitched down the front, and the sheepskin lining does not come up over the top edge to protect the leather from rubbing on the foot.
Not as comfortable at all. PLEASE go back to the design you had in Dec 08..!!

I found these slippers to be really uncomfortable. The toe box is very narrow and the shape is pointy. I don't know why anyone would want to wear pointy-toed slippers! My toes became numb and tingly only after wearing them for a few minutes. I will be returning these. I thought I remember buying a pair a few years ago from LL Bean that were much more comfortable. I guess they changed the design.

These slippers were of poor quality and did not wear well. I had purchased the wicked warm slippers several years ago (old style)and they were wonderful and wore well but the newer style was nothing like the ones. They are already torn with only limited use and I returned them. I will not buy these again. Too bad.l

I wore white socks with the dark brown slippers and the dye from the slipper's lining faded onto my socks.

Some
of the stitching on one of the slippers ripped through the leather
within three days of receiving them. They surely aren't worth $44.

I ordered your Wicked Good Slippers expecting to be as happy with them as I am with virtually everything else I have ever ordered from LL Bean. Unfortunately, not so much! Although I knew the sizing was a little small (I ordered up) even that was much too small. However, even had the slippers fit perfectly I probably still would have had to return them because of the very unpleasant smell of the lining. The slippers were packed with a treated tissue paper insert in the toes and the odor was absolutely awful. Acrid, foul and chemical-like-- and very strong. They looked like teriffic slippers and I was sorry not to be able to keep them.

I have purchased these slippers for years and been terribly happy. I purchased a pair in November. Perfect. BUT I just purchased another pair and they are horrible. The style is NOT the same and they are NOT comfortable. The sizing is different, the shearling is different and the style is different (it dips down in the front and does not stay on the foot). I will be returning them and hoping that they return to the style that they have pictured on the webpage.

I have been wearing this type of slipper for over 30 years, buying several pairs from LL Bean. Unfortunately, the design has been changed, the slipper is cut higher and straighter across the top edge, making it less comfortable (but cheaper to make); there is no seam any longer going down the front of the slipper; and the slipper form is not as curved to meet the foot's shape. The new slippers feel thinner than my old slippers. I would rather pay more money and receive the quality I expect from LL Bean. I am sadly returning these slippers.

These were wicked warm slippers, but for some weird reason they pulled down every pair of socks I wore in them. I tried a wide variety of different style socks, and they all bunched up under my toes. Very annoying.

I was disappointed in the fit of the slippers. Although the information enclosed in the box says they fit snuggly, they were much too tight to wear for a comfort item, even w/o socks. The workmanship was poor, with the shearling unevenly distributed even before wearing.
I had purchased this item a number of years ago and was much more pleased with the quality then than now.
