I have medium width, 8 1/2 sized feet. I wanted a pair of cozy, sheepskin/leather slippers so ordered the chocolate Wicked Good Slippers. I ordered a size 8 and a size 9 to try out. When I received them, the first thing I noticed was how thin the leather was and much of the stitching on the seams was crooked. The 8's were definitely too small, so I wore the 9's around over the weekend. They were much too large for my feet. The lining also started to drop tufts when putting them on and taking them off. I returned both pairs immediately. I would think for the price that the leather would have been a thicker mm too. Was very disappointed. Is it too much to ask for good quality half sizes?

Very disappointed in the wicked good slippers. I've had a few pairs of these slippers over the years and the pair I got last year did not hold up. They have changed and not for the better. They used to be fluffy, comfy and much better quality. I will not buy them again , not worth the money.

I just wasn't happy with these slippers. I followed their directions and ordered "up" for the 1/2 size and they were just WAY too large. Too wide, too long. There was a tag inside that scratchy, the shearling was thin and spotty and they just didn't look like the high quality that I'm used to from LL Bean. They went straight back and I've ordered the moccasins instead. Hopefully, they will be much more what I'm looking for and an excellent replacement for my worn-out Uggs.

This is my fourth pair of Wicked Good slippers, and it's getting returned. These felt very narrow and tight. My toes were cramped, even though I had to order up a half size, and my foot kept slipping off the side of the footbed. The suede seems thinner and the lining less dense than previous pairs; I don't think these would last like my old ones did. Because I loved my old slippers, I was willing to pay the new, much higher price, but I'm getting my money back. The new slippers aren't worth it.

I really wanted to love these slippers! Normally wear a 7.5 in shoes, so ordered size 8. They were a little loose when I first tried them on, but the main problem is that the footbed seems very narrow, my feet kept slipping off the footbed and I felt like I was walking on the sides of my feet. In my opinion, my feet are average width, I never buy extra wide width shoes. 79$ is a lot of money for slippers, I think, and if they cost that much, they should fit perfectly. I will be sending these back to try the 7's, hopefully they fit better.

Slipper looks beautiful. However, the soles are also suede with a nap. Every bit of dirt/kitty litter etc. sticks to the soles. I have clean floors, but in the morning there is some tracking of kitty litter and some dirt in laundry room. Slippers pick up every bit and I have to constantly clean the bottoms. Otherwise, they will scratch my wood floors. A really BAD choice for slipper soles, unless you plan to only wear them in the bed or bath rooms. The size runs small so for half sizes, go up to next size as recommended. My shoe size is 8 1/2 so got the 9. I think a 9 may be too tight for a size 9 person. For $80, don't you think they should come in half sizes? The inside of slipper fur is not very soft. It is a bit rough and scratchy. If it is real fur, I guess I would rather have synthetic.

My first pair was fantastic and lasted for years. The dark brown was lovely and the sheepskin was soft and thick. I ordered a second pair and then a replacement pair and they both felt thin and scratchy. Sadly, I am returning them. I contacted customer service about the quality issue.

The sides of the slippers and around the heel/ankle are flimsy. No way to slip your foot into the shoe even to then pull the heel up. It's a sit-down-and-put-it-on shoe. The fleece lining was not sewn in the same on right and left shoes. More fleece showed and helped cover the left foot than the right. There was a plastic tag sewn into the inside toe seam of the right shoe, and I could not get it out. I could feel it when I had the shoe on. The bottom of each slipper had stains. The stains wouldn't have bothered me if there were not other unacceptable quality issues. Very disappointed in the quality of the slippers from L.L. Bean. L.L. Bean handled the return well. I won't reorder this shoe though.

No support at the bottoms, comfortable but if you have foot problems, try another EB shoe.

I have had these slippers for a bit over a year now and the laces ripped apart near the sole on the left side, leaving a big gaping hole. Quality is poor, nowhere near worth $70 or $80. I will not buy these again, nor would I recommend to anyone else. I've only worn them for a few months in the winter - barely lasted this long.

I tried to love these slippers because they are my daughters favorite, but my toes could never get warm because the toe of the slipper was so "pointy" at the end. I had ordered them a size larger than I usually wear, but they taper toward the toes which leaves no room for them to spread out. Consequently, my toes stayed cold and never warmed up!! Why not have a larger toe box?! Especially in a slipper! I would rather have warm toes than a "sleek" looking slipper!

I've been purchasing a new pair of these slippers about every 5 years for nearly 20 years (wow, can't believe it has been this long!). There's only one reason for this -- they are the most comfortable slippers ever, without exception! I just received a new pair as a gift, and discovered that the price has nearly doubled, but the quality has not. They're still comfy, but not twice as comfy, and not as comfy as they used to be. It seems as if they are using a different type of shearling, and not as soft. For this reason, sadly, this might be the end of the reign of the Wicked Good Slipper in our household. And I'm very sad about this indeed!

I was somewhat disappointed when I received the slippers. The quality does not look as good as the pictures. They are made in China, they don't look like real leather and the fur pulls/falls out very easily. Especially when you try to pull them on your feet. There is no arch support whatsoever. So I would not recommend them if you require this type of support or if your foot has a tendancy to collapse inward at the arch. I was really expecting more for the high cost of these slippers. On a positive note, they are very warm. I am still debating whether or not to return them. I am not sure if I will get back the $25 customs and duties I had to pay on top of the price as I am a Canadian customer.

I have recently retired my wonderful old Bean slippers after over 20 years of service. I loved them and wanted to replace them with the exact same slipper. What appeared to be the same style slipper is actually a new style that is supposed to mold exactly to your feet. I have only had the slippers for a few weeks, but even though the slippers look the same and are made of the same high quality materials as my old slippers, my feet feel "bound-up" in them. I have sent very few things back to Bean's in my many years as a shopper, but I may have to send these back.

These slippers are warm but the fur inside wads up and makes for an uneven walking surface. It feels like your sock is wading up in your shoe. It helps to put in a thin insole. Don't think I will get these again.

Unfortunately I ended up returning these slippers. I have the scuffs from LLBean and they are way more cushioned on the footbed than these. I had wanted a bit more coverage when it was colder and something that didn't slide off my feet when walking quickly but these slippers had little cushion on the sole and even with a sorbothane insert I didn't care for them. Seemed flimsy in construction. Usually extremely pleased with all LLBean products, but not so much these slippers. We also have the men's slippers, 2 pair and they are EXCELLENT along with the scuffs as mentioned previously that I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I did love these slippers when I first got them. They were soft, warm and cozy. BUT, after wearing them for a couple of months, the shearling lamb fur wears off of the bottom of the slipper and leaves just cold leather, so that my feet are freezing all the time. I thought that for the price, these wouldn't do that, so I've very disappointed because I like the look and style of these slippers. But I now have to wear socks when I wear these slippers and my feet are still cold. Wish there was some way the shearling wouldn't wear off, but it does. So beware when you buy them, they will be great for a few months, but after you wear them for a while they wear away. :-(

Women's Wicked Good Slippers - When I first pulled the slippers from the box, I thought the leather was not the quality that the price commands. I looked into the slipper & saw that the "shearling" pile was a bit too sparse; slipped my foot into it and the foot-bed pile was bunching-up & not very comfortable, but I do love the cush of the foot-bed though. This quality is more in the $29.99 range, certainly not the $70.+ I like that the shaft, if I can call it that, is not too high around my ankle; that they are not too tight, and most all, they are very warm. A couple of years ago I had purchased the scuffs; their leather is very durable,( still holding up) coarse & super strong; the shearling pile luxuriously full & robust & very comfortable...I had been wearing them year-'round :) - was waiting to purchase a different style & pair, just right for New England winters, and we've had cold temps already. I just expected a lot more bang for m' buck. This disappointment, would not however, stop me from making another slipper purchase. I have so very pleased being a Bean customer for 20 some odd years! Stay warm, my friends :)

The slippers are not comfortable. They are not uncomfortable. However, compared to other slippers in their same category, they do not provide any support. A disappointment.

I bought these slippers because I loved my previous pair (Wicked Good Moccasins) and thought these might be a step-up. I returned them, and here's why: Pros: - Very warm - More foot coverage than the moccasins - No frills, no laces to come untied - Lining is very thick Cons: - Runs very narrow. My foot was spilling over the sole when I tried it on - Sole was uneven, causing me to rock back & forth when I tried them on (similar to a MBT shoe) - Lining was itchy! I'm not sure if I got a bad pair, but I returned them. Back to the moccasins for me.

I ordered these slippers in size 5, my normal size, but they were too tight. They had not taken into account all that fluff that is inside the slipper. Then I ordered size 6. The size was OK, but the left shoe was cut and sewn in a crooked way, and pushed the foot to the side. I had ordered another similar pair of slippers, also and returned those as well, because of a similar issue. Quite a disappointment. Had to return the slippers for the second time. There should be some sort of quality control.

The first pair I purchased was defective as sewing on the sole of the right slipper was off balance, thereby causing my foot to turn. I returned them for an another pair, and this time the sewing on the left sole was off. Looking at the slipper from the top you could see that the sole was not in line with the slipper. I am, however, extremely impressed with LL Bean's handing of both situations, their speedy exchange and eventual refund. I would definitely purchase other items.

When I put these slippers on the slippers' sole slanted to the outside although my foot and ankle were at a normal perpendicular. It felt like the sole was thicker from the large toes to the heel.
